I have always found this firm reliable, straightforward and helpful to deal with.
I have given a score of 5 to Quality of Service or Product, based on my previous experience of other work they have carried out at this property, as the leak rectified only occurs very occasionally. However I am expecting that the problem has now been solved.

We had a leaking roof. An initial quote for the work was provided by another firm, who did not go up onto the roof to examine where the problem was originating or assess what it might be. Their quote: £8,000-10,000, to replace the entire roof felt and any tiles that were broken – an assessment made from standing in the back garden and looking up at the roof from below. Oh, and no work possible for three months. We asked Aldridge to give us a quote too, but did not tell Robert about the first quote. He got his ladder out, went up onto the roof and came down 5 mins later to announce that we had a broken tile in just the spot the leak was occurring. He sent one of his lads round three days later. He replaced the tile and checked the rest of the roof and said he was satisfied they'd nailed the problem. Charge? Under £100. Both gentlemen were charm itself. We will certainly make Aldridge our first port of call next time.

We had a leak in our dining room and lounge ceiling . The area it was coming from was a tiled roof, velux window and dormer window, in other words difficult to pinpoint exactly where. Through experience Rob Aldridge stripped the roof covering the area and considerable rot was found including the frame of the velux and the bottom of the dormer window and sill. Whilst the job was bigger than I expected in the end he advised me of the cost before starting scaffolding etc., and latterly what was required to finish the job. I was more than happy with his work and time keeping.

Flat roof renewed. Work carried out as quoted. No fuss or drama. Really pleased with the work and the result.

Replacement of ridge tiles on hipped roof following damage caused by an errant tipper truck driver.

Robert Aldridge kept me informed of his intended work programme and his men arrived as promised. They too made sure that I was aware of what they intended to and when, and carried out their work with care. They were extremely polite and helpful and left the site clean and tidy. Robert returned to check that all was completed to my satisfaction.

During the work, unforeseen possible problems for the future were flagged up, and additional work agreed in advance, at a very reasonably price.

To replace a missing tile on our 4-storey building, owing to storm damage. This is the second occasion that we have used Aldridge Roofing, and we are very happy with their work and helpful, friendly attitude. Will use them again no doubt!

We were experiencing water marks and black mould on the extension of our property. Robert Aldridge visited us, identified the problem and gave us two estimates:

(1) removing the tiles, inserting new battens and membrane and putting the existing tiles back; or
(2) removing the tiles, inserting new battens and membrane and installing new tiles.

We elected to go for option 2--new tiles.

During the work, it was discovered that the insulation in the roof was minimal and so we chose to have recommended insulation.

The work was carried out with the utmost professionalism by the Aldridge Roofing team. They worked hard and efficiently in very cold conditions and left the site clean and tidy. I cannot speak too highly of the workmanship and service. Thank you.

I had a leak in a second floor bedroom below a dormer window in a 3 storey new build and had tried to get this resolved before, but the leak came back. Aldridge Roofing came highly recommended and I can vouch that they are trusted and reliable: they came when they said they would, and identified and resolved the problem quickly, showing me pictures of the problem and describing how they fixed it. As a first time customer this was refreshingly good service from Robert and his team in response to a leaking clay pantile roof to the utility room extension of our old farmhouse - and just a week before Christmas! The guys were on site within a few days of initial inspection to carry out a temporary fix before they can get back later to do the job properly. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending.
