Trading Standards Trusted Trader

Norfolk and Suffolk Trusted Trader is a Trading Standards platform, available to any local authority that is looking to set up a professionally run and managed official trader scheme.

Based on Scotland Trusted Trader which is in use by councils across Scotland, and supported by SCOTSS Trading Standards and Police Scotland, the platform has been rolled out to Norfolk County Council and Suffolk County Council.

Each scheme aims to protect local residents and support quality local businesses who agree to meet a Trading Standards vetting criteria and abide to a strict Code of Practice.
