Repair to damaged slate roof Very efficient service, done at short notice

Cut into existing slate roof and install "vellux" window Aldridge Roofing is a proffesional organisation with a wealth of experience. This is the second occasion I have had reason to use them, and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. Given the difficult (covid) times we are living in at the moment their communication all the way through has been excellent.
The site was left clean and tidy inside and out.

Refelted and new tiles on bungalow plus installed sky light . Very good .

Replaced broken tiles and repositioned slipped tiles. The whole experience with Aldridge Roofing was fantastic. They took the stress away from having to have wind damaged tiles replaced. Extremely quick and a great service from start to finish. Thankyou very much. Would recommend to anyone.

The work involved disabling & sealing off the leaking old drainage pipe work from the gully roof which was running horizontally under the roof, installing new down pipe & feeding into existing soak away via additional down pipe.
The original leaking drain pipe work was left open at the outlet to allow any existing water to drain / vaporise over time.
All the groundwork was reinstated leaving it all clean & tidy as original.
The team of 2 arrived before 8.00am & started working immediately, the work was completed by 3.30pm.

To repair leaking roof. Remove tiles, repaired damaged felt, redress existing lead, re-fix tiles and make good. Before Christmas I called Aldridge Roofing in to look into the cause of my leaking roof, having used this company two years earlier I had no problem seeking this company to return and resolve this new emergency.

Mr Aldridge came to the house and provided me with an estimate for the repair and a date when he would be able to carryout the work. On that basis he received the go ahead.

Mr Aldridge arrived on time and after a brief discussion confirming his work programme he attended to the job in hand, two hours later he reported the leak had been successfully repaired and why it had been caused. The work area was left clean and tidy.

I was very please with the service and the professional manner in which Mr Aldridge and his staff completed their work.

Aldridge Roofing carried out repairs to the garage/porch flat roof on my mothers detached property. Having been let down by 3 local roofers, one of which had already carried out work for us on a previous occasion, I contacted Robert Aldridge after a recommendation. Within a few days I had met with him, discussed an appropriate solution to a roof repair, given an estimate and accepted it. Because of the time of year, the weather didn''t allow work to be carried out. We were kept informed as to when Robert and his team were able to start and were duly given a date. While commencing the work, all the staff were on time and very courteous. The work was completed to a very high standard and the site was left immaculate. One point worth mentioning was that we were unable to be on site while the work was being carried out and so had to leave the house keys with the staff. The keys were posted through our door at the end of each day. We will be recommending Robert and his team to family and friends.

To strip a flat roof on a concrete slab, clear all rubbish and reflect roof The work was carried out without any problems and to an excellent standard. Everybody we dealt with were extremely polite, knowledgable and efficient. Could not ask for any more and would totally recommend this company

Removing old coirgate garage roof and replacing with roofing felt and decking. Taking all rubbish away. Job and well done in dreadfully cold wet weather. No mess left everything left very clean. Very friendly too.

Replacement of two pan tiles and repair of a third. Mr Aldridge was quick to reply to my initial enquiry and came to see the job within a few days. He would have done the repair immediately but I did not have the correct replacement tiles. He returned with the necessary tiles to match the ones already on the roof although not on the agreed day because he was trying to fit my repair in around other bookings.However communication was good and he came on time on the rearranged date and quickly finished the job.

Several tiles on the roof needed to be replaced having been damaged by a falling TV aerial. Wonderful service - they turned up when they said they would, went through everything with me and completed the work quickly and without any fuss. Definitely to be recommended.

Pantiles roof and beadwork on new extension - 6 different levels and stripping and replacement of old pantiles from old part of house and garages and leadwork.

Worked "beyond the call of duty" to get the extension roof completed before Christmas 2018.
Replacement of the old roof was severely effected (delayed) by rain - some of it very heavy. Despite the heavy rain we had no leaks when the roof was just polythene.
The rain delays were compounded by other jobs that were on at the time (also delayed by rain) making the completion of the job considerably slower than the forecasted time.
The fascia''s /sofits / gutters etc were completed/ replaced by different tradesmen (equally excellent) - so cost given not including this or roof tiles. High quality work and the team are real "grafters".
Like all small builders you have to share them with a number of other jobs which always makes for frustrating delays.
However this is acceptable if the quality of the work is good - which in this case is excellent and worth the delays!
We we unlucky with the weather which compounded the delays.

New felt roof on kitchen and garage which are joined together We are very pleased with the job Aldridge Roofing have done, having dealt with some very poor work carried out by others on this particular roof.
The service was friendly and professional. The job was completed quickly and we are happy with the results.

Supplied and installed 5mt code 4 lead flashing to lobby. We have used Aldridge roofing before, we have no problems with them what so ever.

Removal of chimney, batten, felt, replace tiles and make good. Following significant rain, water had leaked through the old lead flashing surrounding an existing, bit redundant chimney.

Having tried a couple of roofing specialists, I called Robert at Aldridge Roofing who arranged to meet me on site.

From start to finish Robert was extremely helpful and we agreed that the best idea would be to remove the chimney rather than replace the flashing.

All work was completed as agreed to a high standard.

Supply and fit of Velux Window Easy process from turning up to give quote to window being fitted.I actually finished up with a bigger window than I thought as Rob surveyed the roof and explained what size could be fitted. Estimate received promptly and answered my questions with patience. Waited several weeks for fitting and Rob confirmed the night before fitting what time to expect them. Window fitted well and sits perfectly in the roof. Neatly finished and care taken inside and out. Well impressed with finished window and area left clean and tidy. Highly recomended

1. Removal of redundant solid-fuel boiler chimney on flat roof.

2. Replacement of the flat-roof covering on a loft conversion with higher insulation Aldridge Roofing recovered the flat roof of our loft conversion over 15 years ago. This had lasted well with no leaks but, by 2019, the thermal insulation was well below modern standards and we decided to get it upgraded before winter. We got three quotes of which Aldridge was the middle price.

After quotes were in, we decided that we would have a redundant chimney that came through the flat roof removed (rather than repointed) and Aldridge quickly gave us a revised quote to cover removal of the stack and sealing the hole below roof level.

Wet weather delayed work although the scaffolding work was done quickly and professionaly well in advance. Aldridge made good use of lulls in the weather and all the work was completed in a little over three days.

Robert and Jason carried out the work safely and cleared all waste materials on a daily basis, they also arranged the inspection of the work and certification. Helen in the Aldridge office responded quickly to questions from us and was very helpful.
