Roofing work involving patching of felt and extending felt to guttering. Also replacement of broken tiles and making good sand and cement where required. Also fitting chimney hat. The work was carried out on the day and time as promised and I cannot fault the Knowledge and helpfulness of Mr Aldridge and his work partner and the skill and workmanship they demonstrated.Everything necessary was brought to site that morning which demonstrates the attention to detail and planning. I recommend Aldridge Roofing to anyone wanting a professional helpful and skilled service with many years of experience. You may have to wait a little which demonstrates the popularity of this company and the excellent work they carry out. All good things are worth waiting for!

Complete waterproofing and tiling of a new double garage/workshop with full hipped design, in traditional red clay pantiles (53 sqm of roof) We have used these roofers before on a previous project (House extension) and our builder recommended we use them again. We were happy to do this and were not disappointed. (NB there were some delays but this was not due to the roofers. We knew they would be fitting our work in alongside other contracts).

I had some concerns about the measurements at first but these were easily resolved after the boss (who also worked alongside his men on the job) carefully explained how they would overcome my concerns. We ended up with a great job!

Replaced two slate tiles that had fallen from roof. Telephoned Mr Aldridge as found slate tile had fallen from my Dad''s roof when I called at house. Dad is currently in a care home so I needed the work done for him. Mr Aldridge sent a colleague to look at the roof that day & telephoned me that evening to give me a price & advise the work could be done in two days. I gave go-ahead as they had re-felted Dad''s Flat Roof last year & done a very good job. They e-mailed me pictures of work done & invoice. I would recommend them as dealt with both jobs competently & kept me informed as I live 40 miles from my Dad''s House.

Repair to gable end. We needed an emergency repair to our roof when a run of tiles slipped and were in danger of falling off the roof and onto the conservatory below. They came out quickly to assess what needed to be done. They agreed a competitive price for the scaffolding which was quickly put in place and the tiles made safe. Mr Aldridge explained what work was required and what it would cost. They kept us informed about when they were coming and rescheduling due to bad weather and came when promised. The team worked hard to complete the job. We were concerned that other parts of the roof had also deteriorated but Mr Aldridge did not feel any extra work was necessary. Everywhere was left clean and tidy and we would not hesitate to recommend Aldridge Roofing.

Broken roof tile replaced. Very prompt & efficient.

Re-roof our property, remove existing felt and battens. Supply & install new breathable membrane, new battens new felt support trays. Re fit existing tiles re bed ridge tiles and cement valleys & verges. Additional work to rectify previous shoddy workmanship from original builder / roofer remove barge boards & re fix properly, extend lay boards and supply & install lead. We could not be more pleased with the work carried out by Aldridge Roofing. Our house is only 5 years old, the original builder did such a terrible job we had already lost some tiles and began to have water leaks in the ceilings,even a small bird began to nest in the loft space ! Robert came around and assessed the repairs and after a few consultations we decided as we want this to be our forever home that taking the whole roof off and starting again was the best option for us. Once this was done other faults came to light. Robert throughout the whole process gave us photos to show what was wrong and how this could be rectified. The team that came were always polite and worked efficiently even with the extra work that came to light. We would most defiantly recommend this company for not only value but work ethics that are second to none. We finally feel that our roof is secure and water tight.

Removing of chimney stack on a bungalow and making good the roof. The firm was very helpful and understanding with the circumstances surrounding the reason we needed this done urgently. Supplied and installed new gutters nd down pipes and facias. Installed insulation to loft space. Aldrige Roofing were recommended to me of whom I contacted. Mr. Aldridge had a confident attitude explaining all that would be required for the work.
From the onset of the work it was done professionally, safely and in consideration to ourselves. All personnel including the scaffolders (the team) working on the job were pleasant and always informative if needed. A hard working qualified team. The area was always left tidy each day and safe.

Repair to leaking skylight flashings.
Price included scaffolding. Happy with the work done, they identified the source of the leak quickly and only quoted for what was necessary.
The work appears to have been done well and they were tidy, careful and friendly when on site.

Refix slipped tile at gable end of roof. Small job I didn't ask for estimate. Fixed quickly by competent workmen.

We needed our roof repaired which involved getting scaffolding up, removing the tiles and very old, damaged membrane and replacing it with new, and re-tiling.

Aldridge Roofing gave us a clear quote, timeline, managed the scaffolders very efficiently and completed everything as agreed. They were punctual, friendly and efficient. Could not hope for more. (They also cleared up their mess which other contractors have not!)

Replacing 70+ broken and missing slates on the roof. Repairing damaged lead flashing around lantern windows. I have used Aldridge Roofing for several jobs and they have always dealt with me in a professional manner. Appointments are kept as promised and if delays occur due to the weather I have been kept informed and where they could they have worked to make up for time lost.
The work done has always been of a high standard and fixes the problem they were called for first time. The work area is always left clean and tidy with rubbish removed from site at the end of the job.
