I had a leak in a kitchen pipe which was getting worse and after phoningHGS Plumbing and Heating they sent someone round in half a hour to stop the leak and then just 2 days later arranged to come and finish the work, speedy, friendly and very competitive price, will use this firm again and tell my friends to use them too so nice to talk to someone I had left messages on mobile of other plumbers and none got back to me they were friendly and explained everything to me will use them again

A service was booked for a gas boiler and fire but the fitter found a fault with the boiler that would have been more expensive to correct than installing a new one. A new boiler was fitted and the fire serviced. I contacted the firm as my son needed the gas appliances serviced before the sale of his flat. Although it was short notice Rob fitted the job in and kept me informed at each stage of the work. As I was not able to be at the flat for the second visit for the replacement boiler to be fitted I gave the key to Rob and was very impressed with the work done and how tidy and clean the flat had been left.
The office staff and the fitter were friendly, reassuring and professional and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

Courteous and informative

Fitting of replacement stop cock to house Rob at HGS agreed a time and date for the work to to be undertaken as well as an estimate for the cost of the work. The guy who arrived was pleasant and cooperative; he ensured that I was happy with what he proposed to actually do before he did anything and was keen that I was content with his planned solution. He did the work well and left everything clean, tidy and working well.

When the bill arrived, it was precisely the same as the estimate which I had accepted in advance.

For me, this is a return to HGS as I have been pleased with their service in the past.

Boiler service. Gas safety certificate. Supply and fit a pressure relief valve. Excellent customer service, very friendly office staff who dealt with my enquiry swiftly and gave me advice and a likely cause of the leak outside. Would highly recommend Rob and his team.

Emergency call out to determine why no hot water, leading to replacement of pump. We woke to find no hot water and I rang HGS as they had previously serviced the boiler. My call was answered promptly and an engineer visited within the hour. The problem was with the pump and as the engineer had a suitable replacement with him, this was installed and the system up and running again by 11am. The speed and efficiency of HGS is excellent.

Gas Safety Certificate and boiler service at our tenanted property. Excellent service. Rob and his team worked with my tenant to carry out GSC. Boiler service, regularly kept in touch with myself and made tenant feel comparable enduring the property to carry out work. Well done, would recommend their service.

fix leak coming from a pipe connected to the shower. I was very happy with the whole experience. on the initial contact they were very friendly and asked me lots of questions about the problem I had, that needed fixing. This meant that on the day of the repair they were fully prepared and could do it very quickly and with confidence that it was highly likely to be fully successful. They were also thorough with the explanation of the cost, the timing of the visit and the possible scenarios involved with the problem I had.

On the day itself,the repairman was also very friendly, speedy and explained what he was doing. they also found an extra problem I had and fixed this at the same time with no fuss and no hiking of the bill.

I was then rung up to find out if I was happy with the repair. Which is a nice touch. I would certainly recommend this firm based on the very good service I received. They seem to take the stress out of the situation and you have belief in them doing what they say they are going to do.

Boiler fault needing a replacement PCB. Day 1: We had a boiler fault, I called Rob at HGS. He quickly gave a timescale to us, he sent an engineer out the next day, explaining to me that the call would have been sameday but he had a member of staff off sick, so he was a man down.
Next day: Craig (engineer) arrived within the window of time given, diagnosed the fault, we had a call back from Rob within the hour to give a price and a next day delivery on the part and revisit.
Day 3: We had the same engineer back to repair the boiler, Ieaving us with a working boiler!
We had a courtesy call from Rob to check all was okay within the hour, all very impressive.
I would not hesitate to recommend HGS for anyone looking for a speedy, honest and efficient service from a local company... their customer focus is premium.

Disconnect has fire and seal off pipe HGS came and disconnected an old has fire and blanked off the pipe. Great job done quickly and good price too. Highly recommended.

Repair to central heating boiler When I contacted this firm and explained my problem they said they would phone back to give me an estimate for the work and how soon they could get to me.They phoned back within 30 minutes with a price and said the engineer would be with me within 3 hours.The engineer arrived in under 2 hours,examined the boiler,explained what was needed and fixed it within 30 minutes.Later that day I received an email invoice detailing the work carried out and the cost which was what I had been quoted earlier.I don''t think you can get better service than that.

I received the bill by email after the work was completed.
I paid by bacs straight away.

Problem solved, everyone happy.
As a landlord, I only use HGS, I know them, they know me.
I trust them to look after my properties in Norwich.

I called HGS after my boiler sprang a leak. Several other engineers had been unable to help me as they were too busy. Rob, the owner, managed to get me an engineer within the hour, which was amazing. The engineer asked for a picture message of the problem so he could bring the correct part. He fitted it straight away, the problem was fixed, no more leak.

Rob the manager was very polite and friendly on the phone and was able to get me an engineer within the hour despite their schedule being full. Andy who fitted it was armed with the correct part which he quickly applied.

Servicing of boiler Very happy with the standard of the work carried out. Engineer was polite, friendly and courteous. Work carried out quickly and efficiently. Would recommend this company.
