I had my combi boiler serviced and a new wireless controller and receiver fitted. The engineer showed up at the agreed time, was polite, friendly and kept me informed what he was doing. Once he identified the fault, he called his manager who spoke to me and told me the cost of the repair and explained the payment terms.

Work was completed within one hour and I was left with the boiler functioning correctly. An invoice was emailed to me one month later.

Great service and I will use HGS again when the boiler needs servicing or repair.

Gas boiler servicing I phoned to arrange a service of my boiler and from that very first phone call they were a pleasure to deal with. They even managed to get out to me later that same day as they’d had a cancellation even though it’s the busiest time of year for boiler servicing!

2. replace faulty pump Our first experience was a couple of years ago in a rental property when our letting agents used HGS. The service was great, with friendly and efficient staff.

We have recently used them again for our own property, firstly for a standard boiler service and then again to fix a fault which materialised. Again, the service was great and charges reasonable we felt.

With the fault, they went above and beyond to help us and came out to us with the replacement part, to fit it the same morning we called - we had a newborn baby in the house and no heating or hot water so really appreciated this first class customer service!

Replacing a broken shower with a new one Great experience with HGS - I had to re-schedule a couple of times (waiting for parts) and they were really helpful and accommodating. Good communications, arrived exactly when they said, work was carried out quickly and efficiently and to a high standard. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Replacement of part for ball cock valve in cold water tank to cure loud noise on refilling. Washer replaced in kitchen tap. The work was done promptly and very successfully. Our loft is not easy to access and contains loose insulation material which is difficult to deal with but despite this the work was completed with great efficiency and good humour. I would thoroughly recommend this company.

Had all pipes changed upstairs, 2 radiators replaced and 1 radiator fitted, new pipes downstairs I had all pipes replaced upstairs (due to previous plumber putting wrong size in), 3 new radiators and new pipes downstairs, I have lived in this property for 4 years and had on and off heating in that time, HGS plumbing came and fixed the problem quick and professionally... I''ve been messed about for so long but these guys have finally resolved the problem! Billy was brilliant!! He was fab with the kids, he was tidy, swift and got the job done... no messing about! A large new towel rail radiator in bathroom and a boiler service Always extremely prompt, efficient, friendly and helpful; offering lots of options, explaining the outcomes of each in detail. They are also keen not to cause any unnecessary expenses for you, which is much appreciated!

Leaking valve on hot water cylinder I have used HGS probably 3 times in the last few years. I have never dealt with any firm that is so helpful, professional and customer-centred. The phone is answered promptly and politely. Every effort is made to get an engineer to the property as soon as possible. Even on the odd occasion when the phone is busy, the automated system tells you where you are in the queue instead of listening to the usual drivel of "your call is important to us.." which you know is not true and still leaves you hanging on wondering whether you will be connected in the next minute or two or in the next 6 hours.

The engineers are polite and friendy, they do an expert job and there is no mess. The firms charges are reasonable and competitive and importantly they deliver value to the customer.

If you don''t take any notice of this reference you have only yourself to blame.

Heating system was tripping RCD due to fault Awesome, honest, reliable, fairly priced and saved my bacon when my pregnant wife was home alone with our 3yo toddler, due to me working away, and the heating decided to breakdown :-/ at short notice, the HGS engineer went above and beyond to get to my wife and sort out the problem, can''t thank you enough! :-) A*******

Plumbing repairs. Have also had boiler repairs and service done. Have had work done by HGS several times. They are always responsive, efficient, and get the job done properly. And they are friendly to boot!

New boiler installation and re-piping gas supply. I can''t speak highly enough of these guys. Our boiler broke completely and they were the only company that made sure we didn''t have to wait a month without hot water and heating. The advice they gave us about the new boiler was very informative and helpful. When it came to installation, two engineers arrived promptly at 8am and started work immediately. Even when problems arose (old house, bad pipework) they solved the issue against the odds and got everything sorted by the end of the day. They were friendly and cleaned up after the work was complete. I''m really impressed with the new boiler, works like a dream, super efficient and actually heats the house properly! I had a leak in a kitchen pipe which was getting worse and after phoningHGS Plumbing and Heating they sent someone round in half a hour to stop the leak and then just 2 days later arranged to come and finish the work, speedy, friendly and very competitive price, will use this firm again and tell my friends to use them too so nice to talk to someone I had left messages on mobile of other plumbers and none got back to me they were friendly and explained everything to me will use them again

Boiler Service. I was very impressed with the engineer, he was very helpful. Over the years this company has done lots of work for me including a beautiful new bathroom and I''ve always been pleased with their work and aftercare. I can thoroughly recommend them.
