Removal of faulty boiler and installation of new boiler. Our 15 year old boiler was leaking, resulting in water running down the wall from our bathroom to our kitchen. We needed a speedy replacement and contacted our usual boiler service company. The company identified that we needed a new boiler but then simply stopped communicating with us when we tried to book them to fit a replacement.

We sent an SOS to HGS via their website and to my surprise Rob responded on the same day and asked for photographs and descriptions from which he was able to identify a new boiler for us. Rob very kindly made some adjustments to the schedule so that our new boiler could be fitted as soon as possible. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently and the area was left tidy. We are very happy with our new boiler.

New boiler HGS replaced my mother’s gas boiler. She is elderly, vunerable and lives aIone. I was able to trust then completely. They gave excellent advice about the best type of boiler for her. I was really impressed by their promptness, punctuality, efficiency, transparency and excellent communications and very touched by their kindness and good humour.

Boiler service on a letting property. I had been recommended by a friend as I needed a boiler service done ASAP on a property that had a tenant and I had a buyer for the property who wouldn’t exchange until the boiler was serviced. I called HGS to explain the situation and they were so helpful and arranged for the service to be done within a few days. All other plumbers I had called couldn’t do for several weeks.

They turned up on the day and confirmed all had been completed. I requested the paperwork so I could pass onto buyer and this was immediately emailed across to me. Very helpful on the phone and it makes a difference when using a company that makes a job go so smoothly.

Emergency repair to pipe work in bathroom which was leaking. HGS carry out plumbing and electrical work at both my residence and at my two rental properties. When my tenant discovered he had a leak under the shower I contacted HGS who advised whilst they had no one free immediately they would send someone as soon as they had finished the job they were working on. As promised we shortly got a call saying a plumber was on their way and we met them there. They quickly sorted the leak and soaked up as much of the water as they could leaving the bathroom clean and tidy. The invoice was sent and paid promptly.

I had a leaking toilet and a non working tap at my shop . I’ve used this company before in December for a service and repair on my back boiler and fire at my home and I was very happy then with the service they provided . I’ve just used this company again to fix a leaking toilet and a tap that didn’t work at all in my place of work , I spoke to Mike and he was really helpful and asked me to send pictures , within ten minutes I had an engineer on his way to my salon in Norwich . The work was carried out quickly and there was no distribution with clients . Pictures were then sent to me to show what was broken and what was replaced and repaired, I’m so happy with the service and will continue to use them in the future. Highly recommend.

Used for repair of boiler that constantly lost pressure and at later date for small repairs and annual boiler service. Explained the required work and quoted total prices so no unexpected costs. Supplied and fitted 250 litre unvented cylinder complete with 2 x 3kw immersion heaters
Supplied and fitted potable water expansion vessel to serve unvented cylinder
Undertook alterations to hot and cold supplies and connect to new cylinder
Installed safety discharge pipework to terminate externally
Filled system with added inhibitor
Wired up unvented cylinder to existing time and temperature controls
Hot water tank started leaking just prior to Christmas, called HGS and despite it being the last working day before Christmas holiday Rob arranged for team to come and empty tank to avoid any water damage to house (greatly appreciated).
Rob provided options for replacement tank with the benefits outlined plus a detailed quote. Once agreed date was made for replacement of immersion heater. This was undertaken on the agreed date. The team''s work was of a high quality and they worked very efficiently throughout. Very pleased with the whole process from start to finish. Will definitely recommend and use again.

Had an emergency right before Christmas as we got keys to our new property which came with a leaking and faulty boiler! despite a busy time they got to us super fast and fit us a brand new boiler which has been a dream they even came back on Christmas Eve to fix a leak caused by a blockage in a connecting drain. Transparent pricing and advice , would highly recommend them and will use them again! Very good customer service too from everyone I dealt with.

Gas safety inspection and boiler service I decided to ask HGS to carry out a gas safety inspection and boiler service based on recommendation . The office called me back to make the appointment and the engineer arrived during the agreed time slot . The engineer was very polite and professional ; also wore gloves and a mask. Very pleased with the service received and would use again.

Toilet repair I’ve used HGS on a number of jobs over the last couple of years including a boiler replacement, gas safety certificates and repairs to taps and toilet.

They have completed all jobs quickly and to an excellent standard. The office has been incredibly easy to communicate with - often sending someone round / putting together a quote within a day or two. Their on site staff are always friendly and professional and are a delight to deal with. Prices have always been reasonable and good value for money.

I would not use anyone else now and cannot recommend HGS highly enough.

New boiler fitted. Having called HGS out to look at my faulty boiler, they checked I still had hot water before arranging a call out for the following day. On arrival, we discussed if it was cost effective to fix the boiler or whether to replace. I had already decided I probably wanted to replace so the engineer left my home telling me I would receive a call from the office with a quote for a new boiler. Whilst here he took some photos and details to feed to the office so they could advise on the best options. Whilst waiting for a call I did some research online regarding boilers to get an idea if price. Within an hour of the engineer leaving, the office called with a very cost effective option. As this was on a Friday, they arranged to do some juggling of appointments for the next week so that I could have my new boiler installed on the Monday! I received a detailed quote over the phone and then followed up by email.

On Monday, two engineers turned up first thing as promised. They worked efficiently, tidily and were really nice guys who were obviously very experienced in what they do. They ensured I was totally happy before leaving.

The next morning, I received a courtesy call from the office to make sure I was completely happy before they emailed by invoice over.

All in all, I would never have imagined having a new boiler would be such a seamless, easy process and I can only imagine it’s due to the fantastic staff (both office and engineers) employed by HGS. Highly recommend,
