I've not had this type of work done before so i can't comment on values.

Robert & Russel who did the worth (excluding the painting) were excellent & I couldn't fault them at all.

The finish of the paint work was a little disappointing but overall a good job.

Very Quickly job done after the quote.

Regutter and retile side elevations of roof. Good job. Well done and met all our expectations.

Prepare wooden surrounds to windows for decoration, applied paint and varnish where applicable.

Apply 1 coat of white undercoat and one coat of white gloss externally to the conservatory windows, door and frame and side vertical boarding. Very satisfactory job in every aspect.

Repairs to persistent leak in toilet cistern. Originally asked to come and quote for a repair and/or replacement. Plumber through he could replace faulty part these and than and complete the job in a visible, which is what happened brilliant.

Lift and set aside roof tiles where roofing requires replacement to the left side of the chimney stack to an area approx 1.5 wide x 1.2 deep lift roof tile battens and install replacement roofing to area where there are 2 holes in the roofing felt with plastic bags refix roof tile battens and relay roofing tiles. Job well done in the time.

Temporary roof repair. Polite, organised, work completed promptly with honest advice.

1) Clipping of plaster for damp proofing, Re-plastering. 2) Removing two layers wallpaper. 3) Re-plastering all hall. 4) Replacing radiator. Nos. 1 and 3 above were excellent. No. 2 was very messy and didn’t clear up well on the basis that the plasterer would make a mess. Left marks on carpet. No 4 Left marks on the carpet and didn’t know how to restart boiler. Property 1st paid for carpet to be cleaned with an excellent contractor.

Replace parts of defective boundary wall. Friendly bricklayer. Firm did not contact me when he had to attend another job just after he started. Workmanship was better on previous job a few years ago. Overall ok though and would get a quote from them again.

Take up existing tile floor, investigate and repair problem, relay laminate flooring.

Re-pointing an area at the front of the house damaged by chips from gutters. On time and carefully executed, with correct at mortar mix.

Decoration of bathroom £531.49 + vat £106.30. Repainting of stained bedroom £202.99 + vat £10.60 ceiling, wood panels on both painted £56.00 + vat £11.20. A skilled & hard working decorator.

Removing a kitchen. cleaning a chimney & adding an air brick. Laying a ply floor. Property 1st did their normal professional job. Halfway through the works we had to modify the plan. Property 1st were able to help us achieve what was required under difficult circumstances. We would certainly use them again.

Replacement of window sill. Masonry wall decoration – filling cracks in rendering & 2 coats moving point. I felt that my job was being done when there was no other more lucrative work being done. A bit here, a bit there & it went on for weeks (not always the weather’s fault). On valuing the work initially the accessor failed to notice wood room on the door frame- which was immediately noticed by the carpenter. I was given a new quote which was unacceptable so this part of the work was not carried out. Scaffolders didn’t let me know they were there – a bit embarrassment as I was in the bathroom at the times. I had to phone twice to get the site cleaned carpeted ends, part on woodwork, debris paint smaller or drain, clogged drain where bushes had been cleaned. They even threw my drain corner away.

Bath and toilet. Very reasonable price easy access under floor bath heating. New toilet.

Velux window replacement. Both workmen were helpful & considerate to ourselves and neighbours.

Converting a kitchen cupboard for a dishwasher inc making good floor, adjusting pipes in the way & plumbing in. Friendly staff. Took lots of time to listen to what I wanted. Thorough investigation of space/floor/pipes. Quick quote. Neat job/finish. Follow up contact to see I was happy. Would use again.

Put up scaffold tower and repair 4 tiles in gallery plus rebed 2 tiles on garage roof. Whatever the job, small or large, property 1st always tackle it with friendly staff and good management.

Repair to toilet. Repair to water tank to include new pipe. The work was carried out competently. As a lady living on my own it is very important to have workmen who are trusted. I have no hesitation in recommending property 1st. They were friendly and explained everything to me in language I understood!!
