An exterior duct needed to be replaced for an extractor fan. It had been broken by a storm and was in an awkward place so a cherry picker was required. They responded to my initial enquiry quickly and visited us promptly. The written quotation was sent to us the next day. We accepted it and a date was agreed for the work to be done. The day was changed because of a bad weather warning. On the day they arrived early and the work was completed within the hour. The guys who did the work were friendly and polite. Overall Property 1st left a very positive impression. I would have liked the work to be cheaper but It was my choice to accept their quote. I did not get more then one quote as i wanted the work to be done quickly. I was concerned of further damage if another storm occurred

We had a new window put into our kitchen. There was no natural light in the kitchen due to an extension put in by the previous owner.
From our first contact with Property 1st we were impressed with their professionalism and knowledge about the works that needed to be completed. The tradesmen who came to do the work arrived early and worked through methodically. There was very little dust or dirt in the main part of the bungalow.
Ricky stayed to complete the window fit and plastered and completed the decoration. What really impressed me was the pride they took in their work.

Repair to the the roof adjoining a chimney. Work was undertaken on the scheduled date and scaffolding removed a day later.

We had some roof repairs done, which included needing to have some scaffolding erected on our neighbour's land. Everything was done in a very friendly and professional way.

We had a leak in our bathroom and having phoned other plumbers, who had not got back to me though promising to do so, I read the reviews on this site and called Property 1st. The organisation, efficiency and professionalism of the company is outstanding. I spoke to a real person not an answerphone, explained the problem and I was told a day when they could come to repair the leak. In fact the company phoned me the following morning after my phone call and said they could send someone that afternoon. Ricky came, sourced the leak which was in a very difficult cramped space and kept us informed all the way through the repair. He is a real professional and very knowledgeable. We have now arranged for Property 1st to come and refurbish our rather tired bathroom. I have no hesitation in recommending a company with such excellent customer service.

Roof replaced on entrance hall

My brick garden wall needed to be rendered as it had bits falling off it and looked very shabby and run down.

The work was completed over three days, on the first day metal mesh was applied and the first layer of concrete was added. The second day the finishing touches were made by adding another smoother layer. On the third day (everything had to dry out before this could happen) lead flashing was added on top.

I was really happy with the the staff on the first two days. They kindly helped move my compost pile and the quality workmanship really showed with the finished wall.

I don't think reading always wholly positive reviews is helpful - it's important to know if you are unhappy about something a business will deal proactively and promptly with your concerns. The lead flashing (once completed) looked fine from my side, however my neighbour (it's a shared wall) was unhappy with how things looked on their side.

To give Property 1st Maintenance full credit, as soon as I called to update them, they immediately arranged to dispatch a member of staff from another nearby job to visit my neighbour and ensure everything was sorted to his satisfaction.

They must have made a good impression as he later told me he was arranging to get a quote for some work he wanted done on his property.

I've now painted the wall and it's looking great.

The team replaced my brick archway and removed and replaced a number of cracked bricks above the arch and concreted in a waste pipe . I was very impressed with the care that was taken and the outstanding quality of the job done . It was immediately clear they were really professional and the job done was top notch , right down to the colour of the brick and mortar. The team were punctual and very professional friendly people . I would use again and wish I’d known about them before .
