Loft insulated and boards down for a good storage area and walkway. And removed old pipe that goes through the loft and reroute extractor pipe.

We had trickle vents put into 3 windows in our property to help with condensation.
This course of action was recommended and was duly carried out to our satisfaction.
Very pleased with the professional and friendly service and will definitely use Property 1st Maintenance again.

I needed a new oven so a kitchen unit had to be moved to allow more space for a better selection. The workman was prompt, tidy, careful and the job was done exactly as i wanted.
I have also had a large tv taken down with its bracket, with new ones put in place which I provided. Again the workmen were careful, considerate and made sure i was happy with what they did .

We had our 50 year old bathroom turned into a wet room to better suit our needs. The transformation is amazing. From Nick coming to quote to Sean washing his muddy footprints off the floor at the end the process was smooth and well orchestrated, they came exactly when they said they would and the customer service has been excellent. We would certainly use them again. They did an excellent job in what were difficult circumstances.

Following a recent incident in which a car accidentally scraped the corner of my house, several bricks needed replacing. This required the temporary installation of a short acro prop and strong boy to be installed above the bricks which needed replacing, the removal of the damaged bricks and the installation of the new bricks (not quite 20) and mortar, before the removal of the temporary support, just over a week later. Property 1st did a very professional job, which was actually better than I had anticipated. They were punctual and professional and completed it in the expected time and their communication was good. I would certainly recommend them.

We noticed our gutter had come away from the wall and was hanging loosely late on a Thursday night and spoke to Nick who agreed to send people out as soon as the weather conditions were suitable for it to be repaired. This was all done and getting it fixed quickly was a big weight off the mind. Always very happy with the service we have from Property 1st, having experienced some other less professional service recently from another maintenance company that our neighbours employed it''s very much a relief to know Property 1st will come and do the work properly and reliably.

Relaying wobbly patio slabs, digging out shrub roots that have lifted some slabs. Securing TV cables to the outside wall, filling a hole left by an overflow pipe and patching a mortar front verge area. I waited 3 months from my first request to the job getting done. Nick had explained that they were busy and although it was a long wait, I appreciate that a good firm is going to be very busy. So a good sign.
Neil worked hard, kept me informed on the changes necessary and left the area clean and tidy.

Chimney repointing, new toilet and seals round bath and basin, brick pier repaired, replacement bathroom window and painting garden cabin. The whole team were very professional and efficient, the work was of a very high standard, the guys were all polite and pleasant to have around.

Replacing damaged water tanks in the loft.
Two Valves were fitted to isolate water to the tanks in case any future problems arise - an excellent idea. Work carried out before any further deterioration.

Partial kitchen refurbishment (replacement of two units and sink/tap plus associated plumbing, carpentry, plastering and tiling. Plumbing in a new dishwasher. Painting/decorating). Professional and pleasant to deal with. They understood exactly what I required and the work was completed quickly. I am very satisfied.

1. Leak in bathroom cold water pipe repaired. Leak to bathroom waste repaired.
2. Leak in central heating system piping repaired. Very professional company. Turned up on time every visit. Dressed appropriately, arriving in a clean well presented van.
The engineers who did the repairs to my property where: polite, professional, considerate, respectful (to me & my property).
The engineers carried out the work with minimal disruption & explained every step taken to facilitate the repairs.
This company are not the cheapest, but, as they say in life, you get what you pay for. I will be using them in the future, and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Gas fire disconnection, chimney stack removal (requiring solar panel removal and replacement), repointing of front wall and lower gutters and fascia replacing. The service from start to finish was professional. There was a slight delay getting started compared to the predicted date, but I was clear before agreeing to the work the original date was a best endeavour - due to quantity of work they had on, it was several months after the quote and what with weather at this time of year etc it wasn''t unexpected or an excessive delay and the company kept me informed.

There were a couple of changes in the work as a result of inspections once the scaffolding was up and they were able to properly look at the chimney - the original plan had been to have it repaired despite the fact I wasn''t making use of it.

The change in plans were my decision after discussing options, and a cheaper alternative had been available. The extra cost for the change was quoted for promptly, allowing minimal delay before the builders could carry out the work, and they were able to continue with other tasks in the meantime.

The cost was a little higher than I was expecting/hoping, but then what maintenance work isn''t! This is based on no experience of having similar work done, solely of some other reviews on various site, some of which were quite a bit more expensive, some a bit cheaper but its hard to compare jobs based on brief review.

I would normally have obtained quotes from a couple of other companies for comparison but couldn''t even get any with decent rates from trusted review sites agree a date to come out for a quote in less the 6 months.
