I had problems with a circuit tripping out. The engineer from Castle Electrical appeared earlier than scheduled. He was polite and conscientious in his work. The fault finding process is one which requires a methodical approach. He checked all the sockets and found one which had damp ingress over a long period. The whole system was checked before he left. I was impressed by the service given by Castle Electrical.

Have used Castle Electrical Services on previous occasions. Had some testing done this time and as usual John was very helpful in sorting out a time for us. Electrician was on time, courteous and professional. Would use again and recommended.

We live in an old house and needed 8 double sockets to replace 2 old single sockets in a bedroom and a detector installed in a dining room.

We had a precise specification of location, height and alignment of these sockets - the electrician did exactly what we asked for and it looks brilliant.

We have more work to be done and we will definitely be using John and his electricians again.

Had a plug socket replaced and moved to a more sensible height so it can be used properly. Quote was received promptly and all booked in quickly too, communication with John is always easy. Vinnie turned up right on time and was very thorough in checking over the circuits and making it good. The socket is in a much better place and works perfectly. He also made a good job of making the wall around good considering the awkward place it was and the amount of filling needed whilst he was here.

Had light fittings installed and very pleased with the professional standard.

Over a period of 20 years we have always used John for our domestic electrical work. This was for checking and repairing the full wiring system for our Victorian house in Norwich including issue of a safety certificate. Also for our current house where he replaced the fuse box unit for a later RDA unit, made lighting/circuit improvements and recently the power warning light on the sewerage processing plant.
He is totally reliable, charming, has a pride in his work and that of his team and his prices are very fair. Excellent.

We contacted Castle Electrical Services when we needed an electrician to fit our new cooker, after the supplier's fitters found various reasons they couldn't do it. They were very helpful and managed to fit us in at quite short notice during the busy period before Christmas. The electrician who came was professional and friendly. Electricity supply from house to garage. Garage light and external lights installed.

Replacing a defunct neon light unit in pantry. I contacted John on a Sunday, received a response on the Monday and the work was completed on the following Friday. Excellent service.

The work was the installation of a replacement, upgraded consumer unit and an additional power circuit to one room in the house. The new consumer unit was installed to replace the outdated 19 years old unit which no longer conformed to current electrical standards. The benefits of upgrading some of the circuit trip switches were clearly explained to me, as was the additional cost of doing so. I was pleased that the original date for installation was readily changed at my request and the work was done promptly on the deferred date with no delay between the start of the job and completion. I am totally satisfied with this work by Castle Electrical and I shall have no hesitation in choosing them again.
