I've had John from Castle Electrical out a couple of times recently, first to replace some light fittings and then for an EICR. His service was fantastic both times: quick responses to emails, friendly and helpful about explaining things, and I'm very happy with the work. I would absolutely recommend this company and it'll be my first choice whenever I need electrical work done in the future.

Very good, very efficient

John responded to my initial enquiry very quickly and provided a comprehensive quotation. The work was carried out over a period of time that suited us and the team were very accommodating/understanding. John and James were professional at all times and completed the work (new fuse box/partial re-wire) to a very high standard.

I contacted castle Electrical Services to replace some extractor fans that hey had fitted years ago at a rental property we had. They looked back at their records to let me know what was installed previously and gave me a quote to do the job. Once I gave the go ahead they liaised with the tenant to arrange a suitable install date then did the job. All in all the whole process was done in about a week which was ideal when you have tenants.

I would thoroughly recommend them and will use them again.

John came to investigate a bathroom light which wouldn't switch off and quickly identified the issue as a defective extractor fan on the same circuit. He rewired the light so that it worked but also quoted for replacing the fan, which he was then able to do on the same day.

Experience: John was very helpful in explaining the different options I had and the rationale behind each one. The work itself was completed promptly and extremely neatly, so that it blends in with the existing space.

We had two old fuse boxes replaced and updated and are very impressed with the speedy response and quality of service provided. The work being carried out was helpfully explained to us and all the electrics were then tested for safety. The area was made good and compliance paperwork promptly provided. We would definitely recommend them.

Castle Electrical Services have both installed new lighting fixtures in our warehouse and completed annual PAT testing for us a couple of times. This year they also completed an EICR report.
John is quick to reply to emails and books appropriate appointments efficiently. All the work has been very satisfactorily carried out and we will use them again when the time comes for more tests.

Efficient and value for money in sorting out a couple of problems.

James from this company arrived at the planned time, and the work consisted of two jobs:
i) Replacing a single socket power point with a double one,
and
ii) Installing a weather-proof outside power point just outside the door of my integral garage, together with a fused switch inside the garage, so that it can be turned off inside the house, as well as on the outside switch.
The work was completed in good time, and James left the place in a tidy state.
