Replacement of 3 external lights including junction boxes, replacement of one internal light an relocation of a socket Excellent service from start to finish, my shower switch was done within a week of me contacting them and the rest booked in for a few weeks later. Prices very acceptable, workman work masks and took shoes off even though I said they didn''t need (as got washable floors). Very tidy work all rubbish taken with them. I will certainly use Castle Electrical again and recommend them to others.

Having described my situation, I was given clear instruction around how diagnosis would take place, including charging. An appointment was then booked within a few days.

The electrician, Eddie, methodically reviewed my sockets and quickly diagnosed the root cause. He took time to explain this to me in plain english and then gave me options around how the matter could be made safe and then further mitigated. We agreed the best plan and he was able to make the fix there and then.

In fitting two exterior lights, John unexpectedly had to correct some existing wiring which had been incorrectly installed. Much expertise and experience was required to resolve the problem which involved working in a cramped loft with difficult access. I was very impressed with John’s diligence, thoroughness and dexterity! It was generous of him to hold to his original estimate considering the additional amount of time spent on resolving the problem

Replace faulty heating timer for new as timeclock stopped working. I was very very pleased low prompt it was fixed also how nice Mr.Wilson was I would recommend him to anyone.

Installation of outdoor double electrical socket and garden lighting (cabling and spotlights) John was friendly, prompt and efficient - from coming to quote for the job to carrying out the work. I have used this company 5 or 6 times in the last two years for work in my home and for rental properties. They are consistently good.

Twice we have had flats inspected by Castle Electrical Services Ltd for safety. We have twice needed to have flats inspected for the state of the electrics prior to purchase. The first one was found wanting, everything was explained clearly in the report which was sent to us, with supporting photographs. The estimated cost of making the flat safe was explained, but we were not planning to completely rewire a place after buying, so we did not proceed with that purchase.
The second flat was found satisfactory, again a comprehensive report was supplied, which is what we will need as landlords to rent it out.
On both occasions the appointment for the inspection was arranged swiftly so we did not have to wait for results. The company dealt with the estate agents on both occasions.
When I have needed to communicate with Castle Electrics, they have responded swiftly.

I will certainly be using this company when we need any electrical work done in the future.

Replace burnt out wall socket, advise on replacement immersion heater Easy to contact and get a quote for work required. Arrived on time and got the work done in a friendly and efficient manner.

John also gave useful advice on replacing an immersion heater and on any testing work that might be required.
