The support I receive ... Five (1hr) evening visits and five (2hr) morning visits for cooking, cleaning and general checking up on me (!) each week. Other visitors vary at weekends through family and professional contacts. My wife (age 81) of 58 years has been in a Dementia unit for over 5 years with Alzheimers where they look after her far better than I can. This service is clearly very expensive but also very reassuring to my remaining daughter who lives some 30 miles away. The public outcry (sometimes justified) which occurs every now and then is often accompanied by tales of monkeys and peanuts by people who think you can do this sort of work for money!!

8-9 am help with washing, dressing, breakfast. Lunar prepared, elastic stockings, eye drops. I am very satisfied with my carers who have become good friends and are a real help to me. I have recommended Home Instead to three friends who are now receiving their care.

Washing, cleaning, shopping for my mother who has Alzheimer’s. Home Instead have consistent carers who really take care & time with mother. I am totally confident in their service.

Carers are very supportive & reassuring when things go wrong – when I was invaded by wretched flying ants in my kitchen excellent help was provided. All much appreciated. After various operations I have had help from first support.

Personal care. Home instead have provided excellent levels of care in a warm and kind manner fully understanding my mums daily needs and how best they are met which has enabled mum to stay longer in her own home whilst suffering from a degenerate illness. Help to manage daily life after a stroke. Help with shower, getting to appointments, making phone calls. Legal and support for exercise and practice. The help I received is of a very high standard. I know I can rely on my carer and trust her to look after my interests. She is reliable and a good companion.

Help with meals daily general housework. Light gardening. Shopping (when required). I am very pleased with my carers. They are all very kind and always put my mind at rest if I have any worries (especially my bread order when it doesn’t come!) they go that extra mile to help me and I am very grateful.

Is excellent. My mum looks forward to Judy’s visits and outings to the garden centre.

A pleasant cleaning contact weekly. Only 2 his cleaning very helpful to know I could have extra care if I need it in future.

Shopping Cannot complain, always pleasant and good for a laugh.

It is mainly house chores because I cannot “reach high or “crawl low” and get tired quickly!!!

Very good. I also have Jane Ward and Smith Michaela. At weekends and on Tuesdays, As I have told you before. I wished you did so minutes in evening. I have to use another company then not so good.

Help to shower and dress rub cream on legs, back, arm.

Domestic Reliable and consistant.

For 2 hours per week personal care- with shower & lotion on my back (for a cute invitation) Both carers and katerina dining Wendy’s holiday have been matched to understand my rare water already. During my tour they assist with household tasks. It is amazing how much support I received from each of them. I am now 88 and this is a new and valuable experience.
