Eastern Tree Care

Eastern Tree Care felled and logged three multi-stemmed coppice ash, one maiden ash, two large birch trees and a large, decayed eucalyptus. Twigs and small branches were shredded and other debris swept into neat piles. I contacted Eastern Tree Care following a personal recommendation by a neighbour and was very impressed by the manner in which the firm tackled what was a difficult and challenging contract. From the initial survey through to the felling of the trees Tully King kept me informed about how the work would be carried out and the challenges posed by the location and condition of the trees. The trees were felled on the dates and times agreed after the initial consultaion. All the trees stood beside roads and several were leaning badly. The eucalyptus was very large and diseased but Dan climbed into the upper branches and dropped sections, with great precision, on to the garden below. The ''bench'' which was constructed to protect the wall was a stroke of genius and all the work was carried out without any inconvenience to road users, neighbours or myself. The timber was logged and the shreddings left in convenient positions for use in our garden. At all times Tully and Dan were polite, communicative and professional, achieving an excellent result on a job that was far from straightforward. The cost of the work was very fair given the difficulties of the site and the logging of the timber and I am therefore more than happy to recommend Eastern Tree Care and would use the firm for any tree work we may need in the future.

4 trees felled urgently as they were split and dangerous. These guys were amazing, within 16 hrs of the phone call the trees were safely down, they turned up on time did exactly what we agreed, they didn''t try and sell me a service I didn''t want. The way the trees were felled was like watching a artist at work, no damage to any surrounding fencing or other trees.

Tree Surgery. Dismantle large tree, reduce over size hedge, dispose of arisings. Very professional, friendly, competent, honest and very reasonably priced.

Felling of 2 mature beech trees, reduction of 2 mature oaks and a sweet chestnut overhanging a neighbouring property and removal of deadwood from 2 other beeches and hedge cutting clearance along a public pathway. The scope of our work impacted on neighbouring properties and a public footpath so it was really important that we entrusted the work to someone who would be sensitive to everyone''s needs, not just our own. This was the first time we had used Eastern Tree Care and Tully King and his team clearly knew what they were doing. We had a major unforeseen problem on the first day when the climbed inspection of one beech revealed it to be much more decayed than anticipated which led to a felling rather than a monolith reduction. This was approached in a considered and professional manner that gave everyone confidence in what Eastern Tree Care were doing even though this meant a closure of our road for about an hour. Neighbours have subsequently commented on how well this tricky procedure was tackled.

Tully dealt with the TPO paperwork and relevant discussions with the tree protection officer and also spoke to adjoining neighbours about the work. We were kept fully informed as to what was happening on each day.

This work took 3 days to complete and the site was left tidy on a daily basis. We have been left with wood cut into pieces that can be directly used or suitably split for firewood and all waste was chipped.

Field maple felled to ground level. Ash tree thought soon to be a problem in the hear future cut down to top of hedge height. First rate service. Prompt efficient and knowledgeable. Very pleasant personnel who were a pleasure to have on one''s property. They are to be recommended without the slightest hesitation.

One apple tree removed and two apple trees pruned ETC were recommended to us by near neighbours. The work had originally been planned for March but with weather conditions good Tully phoned yesterday to say he could fit us in later in the day. We were happy to go with this & he duly arrived on time. Tully checked & agreed with us the work needing to be done & we were delighted with the outcome. Tully & Nick completed the work in the expected time & took great care. The pruning was completed to a very high standard and the trees look much better as a result. Great value. Tully & Nick were both cheerful, polite & well equipped with all the necessary equipment to complete the job. Best to use their mob phone number if you need a quick response.

This is a rare way of estimates being given,having recently been charged for a so called 4 days of work which took 2.5 days,I could have made a more none worrying choice

Taking down nine trees, some of which were growing very close to or between buildings. Wood was left in manageable chunks for future splitting. Tully and his team did a great job! He managed to fit us in on short notice after seeing our concern over the proximity of several large trees near our house.
The team were punctual, professional, polite and cheerful. I was impressed by the array of different techniques they used to for each tree depending on its unique properties and position. Some had to be dismantled branch by branch to protect nearby buildings.
The site was left tidy as promised, and our house is now a much lighter and brighter place to live.
Overall I was very pleased with the work they did and would not hesitate to call ETC again in the future.

Tree height reductions. I am delighted with the work and the firm are very professional. This is the 3rd time I have used them and I will continue to use them in the future. Also, my friends have used them on my recommendation.

Clearing overgrowth and crown raising trees along a city centre Terrace path Our city centre terrace was in desperate need of clearing and Tully and Dan were efficient, friendly and very can-do. Despite the challenges of doing this work in a terrace with no vehicle access, they quickly found solutions and got on with the job. Excellent work, guys. Taking down a large cypress tree which was split and swaying badly in the strong winds.Removal of all the branches and debris. Leaving discs to be split, the discs stacked in a safe area and the site left clean and tidy. I have used this ETC before and was very happy last time. I received a very prompt service and the nature of this tree was rather urgent. From contacting ETC and the job being completed was very fast.( 10 days )
As before, everything was explained to me and my front garden was left clean and tidy,with the exception of the sawdust, which I was forewarned about and to be expected.

Removing dead wood and selected branches from 2 trees The firm came by recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. They completed the work very efficiently and tidily, clearing away all wood as agreed,
They also behaved professionally during all dealings with us and appeared very knowledgable about their work.

Removal of 15 trees and section of hedging An excellent service, Tully and his team worked swiftly and efficiently to remove the trees and leave the garden in a very tidy condition. Felling two mature & very large beech trees affected by a deadly fungus, both trees very close to our house and the rear boundary wall. This was our first experience of Tully and Eastern Tree Care. From the outset, we were impressed by their prompt visit, advice and quotation. Norwich experienced two days of gale force winds before the work was able to be started and we were very appreciative of a phone call from Tully checking we were all OK and the trees were still standing. The work commenced on the day as promised and was carried out by the team efficiently and safely. No damage was caused, the huge amount of wood was removed as agreed and the site was left tidy. Dan''s skilful overhead tree-work did create much entertainment for us and our neighbours!

Two trees felled. Tully carried out the work to a very high standard and at price quoted. He was very knowledgeable and gave impartial advice. I was confident to leave Tully and his colleague to get on with the job whilst I went out for the day. All the debris was cleared away and the garden left tidy. The trunks were cut into logs, as requested, at no extra charge.

Removal, renovation, maintenance and inspection of several trees Exceptional service from a clearly dedicated and enthusiastic team of professionals. Prior to work starting we were given a comprehensive and detailed explanation of everything that would happen and when, and the team delivered on that exactly. Extremely competitive on price. This is the first time we have used this company, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Felled four mature trees:
eucalyptus, birches (2) and a field maple. All burnable wood was reduced to logs for our wood burner, and small branches were chipped and removed from the property.
Reduced another birch, a bullace and a willow. Punctual, knowledgeable, answered all questions and ensured we were satisfied with their work.
