Remove old fuse board and supply and install a 12 way double split board consumer unit with double RCD protection. Install 16 amp RCBO to power and protect outside circuits. Remove old 2.5 mm2, T & E cable to shower and install 10 mm2, T & E cable to shower & switch replace old 8 way fuse board & install 12 way double split load consumer unit with double RCD protection. Carry out full electrical test and inspection on completion.

Installation and supply of heat detector and two smoke detectors, for unit in bathroom loft, loft lights and switch garage strip light and switches, outside lights test and certificates plus other works & electrical work. He’s clean, polite and friendly and very helpful. He arrived punctually and worked non-stop until the job was finished. He advised me on the products available which were good and these were not necessarily the most expensive. At the end of the job he tidied up and vacuumed the floor. Install new fuse box and pull cord light switch. Work was carried out smoothly and very efficiently. Rob was particularly patient and efficient in discovering where the problem was in the aging electrical system in my bungalow which was tripping the new fuse box. Sockets x 3 doubles (new), outside socket (double) in box. Replace 3 ceiling roses. (Take down existing lights) additional socket – changing 1 to double. Rob was extremely conscientious. All work carried out to a very high standard. All ‘chopped out brick’ (via electric chaser) was cleared aware and dust hovered up.

Full test and inspection of property. Remove old coach light and supply/installs a wash light with built in PIR. Supply and install a multi-sense smoke detector set. Not having needed an electrician for twelve years, I goggled locally and certainly stuck lucky by finding Rob. He followed up his inspection of the work needed with a very reasonable quote and answer to complete the work being on time. He was very thorough and explained exactly what he needed to do to improve. The installation making minor adjustments at no extra charge. What a pity all tradesmen are not as reliable, efficient, pleasant to deal with on Rob. Highly recommended.

To re-route telephone cable. To supply and fit outdoor light fitting. Initial estimate for £85 given - but charged only £70 as less work was required than first anticipated.
