Rob replaced our existing pendant lights with new ones. His work was thorough and he always asked us if we were pleased with how the new light fixture looked -- too high, etc. He's a pleasure to work with and we feel lucky to have found him, thank you Trusted Trader and Rob!

This is the 3rd time we have used this company as always very happy with the outcome. We had some outside sockets and cable, plus points put in and removal of existing old wiring from within garage and outside. Replaced with new sockets and new switch plus new overhead light. Rob sourced and fitted a new ceiling mounted extractor fan in my bathroom. Very neat job and extremely pleased with the service provided.

Removed old fuse board and installed new main consumer unit. Installed a sub-main unit in an out-building, first removing a lot of amateur wiring, sockets, lights and cabling connecting to the house.

Installed multiple new lights in kitchen, bathroom and patio and or replaced old ones. Replaced old heater. Really pleased with all aspects of the job from start to finish. Rob was very quick to respond, arrange a visit and quote and gave good advice clearly explained to someone who knows very little about these things. The quote was very competitive and the team kept to the dates and times agreed which was very helpful. Several different areas of a small house and garden being worked on at the same time so took some preparation but they were very considerate at keeping any disruption to a minimum, as well as quiet and clean.

Complete update of Fuse Box. Rob came to assess the work I wanted done, and from the first meeting I felt confident in his expertise, he explained everything, and I was happy to go ahead with the quote which I thought was very reasonable. The work was carried out a week or so later with very little disruption, and I am so pleased with the end result, feeling safer, knowing that the electrics in the house have been thoroughly tested.
I then asked for an outside light to be replaced, which was completed a few days later by Jack, who also worked efficiently.

Complete lighting rewire and home electrics test Rob and Jack were professional and tidy from the offset. Rob was direct and straight talking about the work that needed to be completed to achieve what I wanted, taking the time to explain to me why. To work with Matt Hill, (Contractor) who was pulling in a new kitchen, putting in power sockets. Moving power sockets coming is at a moments to him so as not as hold up the new kitchen, working really well with other traders. 1)Remove the old 8 way BS3036 fuse board.
2)Remove the old 1 way shower fuse board.

Replacement of thermostat for immersion boiler. Easy to contact, responsive to queries, turn up on time, do what they say for a fair price. Couldn’t ask for more.

Supply and install a 10 way double split load consumer unit with double RCD protect bond main gas meter which 10 mm 2 earth can chase in a cable leaving man consumer in chase in boiler control cable coming from a timer panel. Remove old use board. Remove old T and E cable powering garage. Supply and install 8 mitre length 2.5 mm 2 SWA cable from main consumer unit to a sub-main located in garage. Supply and install 2 way RCD protected consumer unit in garage. Install metal lights switch and metal clad 13 amp double socket. Rob arrived on time and was very efficient. He talked us through each stage of the job. I would recommend him to anyone needy an electrician. He was very reasonable with his quotation. It is good to have someone local you can trust to do a good job. I cannot praise him enough and we also know if we have any problems we can rely on him.

Complete re-wire inside and out with additional sockets and new consumer unit. Rob was very efficient, helpful and the quality of his work was excellent. If you need an electrician I have no hesitation in recommending Rob, and he removed his shoes!

Kitchen lights replaced with good quality bulbs and sockets. Removable old lights disposed of ceiling (small plates) made good. Hovered and cleaned all dust etc, thoroughly. Advised re external security light. Very helpful and personable worker. Will use him anytime I have a further difficulty with electrics, I’ll also advise friends to contact him if needed. He’s definitely a good and useful contact – (he ever allowed one to pay in two installments) in fact a very good advert for trusted traders.

Supply and install a vertice inline extractor fan in bathroom. Supply and install replacement fuse board. Rob was very friendly and helpful, explaining the options and what needed to be done. I am very happy with the work - and the price was actually lower than quoted as different parts ended up being used. Would recommend!

Installation of 2 consumer units. Bond main water pipe. Upgrade main tails and earth conductors. Require circuits / cabling from one side of the cupboard up and down the back of the cupboard. Carry out full electrical test. So good where having him back.

Full test and inspection of property. Remove old coach light and supply/installs a wash light with built in PIR. Supply and install a multi-sense smoke detector set. Not having needed an electrician for twelve years, I goggled locally and certainly stuck lucky by finding Rob. Check isolating switch for shower in shower room. Discovered fault. Recommended replacement. Obtained new switch and returned to replace it. All ok. We have used NES for many years. He checked all our wiring and fitted new fusebox etc. when we moved into bungalow in Strumpshaw, Norfolk. Since then we have moved to Acle and had much done here. He recently fitted sockets into our garage and sockets and light into a new shed we had built. He always answers promptly, work efficiently and tidily and has never given us any cause for complaint. We can’t speak too highly of him.

Electric supply to workshop supply and fit of extractor fan, daylight lamp and sockets. Rob was prompt, courteous and incredibly knowledgeable. He discussed with us the safest way to take electricity to the bottom of our garden for a workshop. It wasn’t a straight forward job due to Kiln requirements and age of fuseboard in the house. However Rob clearly loves his job and the challenges which may arise. I would recommend him, and have done on several occasions.

Making safe electrics for demolition of a conservatory. Complete work for new conservatory – under floor heating lightning, sockets and electric. Roof vent work done mid 2012. We have used Rob of NES for in excess of 5 years and have had a lot of work done by him. He always comes when he says he will, fully explains the best solution for the work required. Rob and his staff always respect your property and leave it clean and tidy. We have never had any problems with any of the work which has been carried out and cost is acceptable.
