Roof works including new felt, insulation and flashing. On the two occasions we have used AHL Roofing we have been very pleased with their standard of work and the communication before and during the works.

He was responsive to queries we had and came over to do remedial work before the full re roof could start so that our property was protected as much as it could be.

Roof repair: replacing a ridge tile. I contacted AHL following a storm which had damaged our roof and received an email reply very quickly. As we live in a three-storey townhouse we needed scaffolding for the job to be completed, and Andy arranged for another company to put this up a day before the work was carried out. The ridge tile repair was finished the following day (a roof tile was also replaced at the same time) and the scaffolding taken down the following week. I was very pleased to have the work completed promptly, given the potential dangers of tiles and other loose material falling from the roof, and the price and service were all very good. Thanks to Andy and Hayley for sorting this out.

Roof replacement Really impressed by the company and the team that did the work - communication was great, the team worked really hard and seem to have taken pride in their work. We are very pleased with the finished job.

To take out old velux window and fit new one The work was done very well, and they cleared all the old window away and cleaned up ..Have been promised that the guarantee will be following later. Very pleased

Re-installed two velux windows that had been installed incorrectly and were leaking. Two velux windows had been installed at the wrong angle and had began leaking. I consulted the velux recommended installers list and approached AHL, who came and pointed out what needed doing. Had to wait a little while for parts to arrive from velux but once they appeared AHL promptly carried out the repairs even though they were busy elsewhere. No problems with any leaks since.

Re-felting our roof, including removing and replacing all original felt with more modern membrane product, re using original roof tiles and replacing any broken, providing new ridge tiles, renewing lead flashing, making good the whole roof. Removal of waste including skip hire, tidying of site. The roof was guaranteed for 10 years, with a certificate. Scaffolding was organised by them, and included in the price. The company was very good at letting us know when they were able to come and do the work. The price and the way it was worked out was explained clearly. The company arrived at the expected time, and worked extremely hard and efficiently to complete the work in a week. Andy explained what they were doing, and showed us the old roofing felt, which was full of holes. The work was of a very high standard, and left us feeling delighted that our home was waterproof for the winter. The workmen were polite, considerate and careful to work in challenging covid times.
The work was completed quickly, thoroughly and on time, and checks were made at the end, to ensure everything was satisfactory. The skip and the scaffolding were removed as promised. There were no ''hidden extras'' and the price was exactly the same as the original quotation. For an extended semi-detached house, we considered that the company offered good value for money.
Overall, we were very pleased with the work, and would recommend Andy and his team to anyone with a leaky roof.
One minor point is that there were some spots of cement left on our brickweave paving.

AHL replaced a leaky flat Roof for us and also performed some verge repairs to our pitched roof along with pointing to our gable. AHL were very busy at the time and were also held up by some supply issues for the required materials but they kept us well informed at all times regarding their ETA, in fact the communication was great.

Andy and his team Tyler and Tom arrived exactly as promised and did an excellent job.  They were very competent and cheerful and a pleasure to have around - we wouldn''t hesitate to recommend them and we look forward to doing business with them again :-)

Repairs to our roof including work on tiling, barge-boards and chimney leading. Our Norwich house roof needed work to replace barge-boarding, renew some chimney leading and set in some ridge tiles, all the result of wear and tear over the last few years and recent high winds. Andy at AHL gave us a good quote and did a great job. No fuss, no hidden costs. Our roof now looks brand-new.
He arranged for scaffolding; he and his team did the work as promised and on schedule; and he highlighted some small additional work that was needed and sorted that too. They left the site clean and tidy on completion.
We are very pleased with the outcome and would unhesitatingly use them again and recommend them to others. Andy and his business deserve to prosper.

New Pitched Roof with new insulation. Re-new dormers with anthracite cladding and new EPDM flat roofs. AHL Roofing were recommended to me by a neighbour. From the initial meeting with Andy, I felt very confident with the work that needed to be done and his design process to enhance the property. They kept me informed throughout on timings, deliveries and the schedule. Andy and his team were polite, friendly, extremely hardworking and tidied up at the end of the day. Andy and his team were very pleasant to work with. The work done involved replacing damaged old roof felt and some of the battens, treating the roof wood and replacing the old tiles, adding new ones where needed. There was also some repointing done around the chimeys and a new fascia board. It was a tidy job performed efficiently around the weather.Payment was as per the quote with no additionals.

We had some changes to start dates partly relating to covid problems and supplies and the weather also interfered. But once they started, the job was completed in the time frame stated. The scaffolders ( a separate company) were slow to remove their scaffolding after the job was finished but once we communicated to Andy that it was still there, he organised the swift removal of this.

Reparation of leaking roof, split felt and loose tiles. Replaced flashing on the Orangary We found them exceptionally good and certainly trustworthy. We will use them again if needed and thoroughly recommend them to others.

We moved home on 28 April 2020 to a bungalow in Halesworth, Suffolk. It quickly became clear that we had a particularly dark area in our kitchen/dining area that would probably require electric lighting for most periods of the day throughout the year. We thought about the possibility of a Sun Tunnel to radiate natural light into the area and upon research found AHL Roofing of Norwich as a supplier/installer of such. Andy promptly turned out in May and after lengthy inspection of the roof space agreed that they could install as required. The following month two of his chaps turned out and professionally undertook the necessary work. They were most polite and worked efficiently and with cleanliness completing the work in the day. They also did some remedial work to some ridge tiles.
We are completely satisfied with the work undertaken.

We had a Velux window installed in our lofted ceiling of our single story dwelling The whole experience from first enquiry to completion was very good. From the time they replied to my email enquiry to the time they finished the job was first class. Provide and install 2 Velox skylight windows in a rather dark bedroom, used as an office/study I am very pleased with the way the firm managed the installation. I had approached them originally about installing a light tunnel; they explained why this wasn''t a suitable option, Velox sklights would be better. So i proved. The work was done well and on schedule and the price reasonable.
