Dorma roof repair, plus various roofing repairs, outstanding service with due care to all aspects of health and safety. Faultless service added and abetted by unusually good weather. waited approximately 6 months to have the roof repairs done, no fault of Ahl ltd, due to covid and bad weather, we were keep in formed at all stages and when on site the work was carried with all due care and attention.
My only complaint is that we need more contracts of this quality.

Complete re-roof of bungalow I am extremely impressed with AHL roofing.
Right from the start Andy and his team were highly professional and friendly. When assessing the job he was the only one that got a ladder and had a good look at what he was up against.
The quote was highly competitive and the work has a 10 year insurance backed guarantee.
Andy sent us photos as examples of his previous re-roofs which was a good indication of his high standards. He dropped off samples of our chosen tiles for us to look at.
He was able to bring the job forward a couple of weeks which was appreciated, especially as he is booked well in advance.
Everything happened when he said it would, delivery of skip, scaffolding etc
Once on site Andy and Tom worked tirelessly to a very high standard. They tidied up every day to minimise inconvenience with an extra clean up on the final day.
When completed, the skip and scaffolding were removed quickly.

Refelt and improve large roof, valley and surrounds of windows. AHL roofing were always professional and have excellent before, during and after customer care. Roof work, new ridge and hip, new felt a d new batons. Andy and Tom did a great job. They were friendly, professional, polite and punctual. They clearly take a lot of pride in their work, and the quality is fantastic. They were quiet and we hardly noticed they were there. Our neighbour even commented on how quiet they were when working. We have booked them again to do some work on our extension as we were so happy with the quality and their work ethic. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Refurbishment of house roof and gutters and increasing insulation to parts of the house where this could only be done once the roof felt had been stripped away. To do this solar panels had to be removed and replaced once the work had been completed I would recommend AHL.
That is the stand alone statement. Anything else - a window dressing.
Work on our roof commenced once Andy and Tom had managed to rid themselves of Covid which had created a backlog. They worked hard in difficult circumstances on what is a very steeply pitched roof. They were punctual and professional in the work they completed. On occasions working in appallingly rainy conditions. It should be noted by anyone who has solar panels that most roofing companies require you to have the panels removed before roofing work can commence. AHL have a man ( it turns out to be Andy) who can do this.

Full re roofing on property and repair on chimney and further chimney above passage with also some repointing work I cannot praise enough the team and hard work which at time proved more challenging than expected that they carried out. They worked non stop and were punctual and clear about the work and left the property in good order. I would fully recommend them and also having a guarantee gives peace of mind.

AHL roofing were contracted to repair the roof lining on our bungalow, to replace broken tiles and to install insulation to a part of the loft that was inaccessible from inside. We had a number of quotes and choose AHL not only because of their competitive pricing but mainly due to their professionalism in the survey and communication.

Having booked several months ahead and enduring abysmal weather throughout May, I was pleasantly surprised that work was able to commence in early June within days of the original schedule. They then also worked over the weekend and brought in additional manpower to ensure that it was completed on time.

Communication from start to finish was excellent, not only explaining the different options (and pricing) available, but also explaining why certain options weren’t appropriate.

Andy and the team were punctual, hardworking, professional and polite throughout the work. They even spent half a day at the end of the job sweeping and cleaning to ensure that everything was neat and tidy before they left.

We are very pleased with the standard of work and it is no exaggeration to say that we have also received positive feedback from others about the high stand of their work.

Roof repairs and chimney rebuild Excellent. Came and gave a quote promptly, describing exactly what was needed and gave a date when work could begin. Also did a temporary repair till the work proper could take place some months away.
Delay Caused by the weather couldn''t be helped, but came as soon as possible.
The chimney was not originally included, but Andy took photographs and videos to show the damage and quickly organised more scaffolding to support it.
The job took much longer than anticipated because of this, but the men all worked very long hours to make up for this.
We were kept well informed at all stages and we had every confidence in the work. The men cleared up as they went and we have even been given a garden voucher to replace the plants ruined by the scaffolding and work which had to take place in the front garden!

Re-roofing the lower section of the very undulating roof which was also in an extremely poor condition on a traditional and very old farmhouse and replacing the old velux windows. Extremely professional from start to finish. At all times, given the difficulties caused by the pandemic to supplies and work schedules, we were updated as to when the work would start.
This was a tricky job as much of the timber of the roof was rotten. Previous repairs had exacerbated the situation but Andy calmly let us know how it could be rectified and talked us through what had been done at the end of every day. Where there were decisions to be made we were given the options and involved in discussions. The timber work was considerable as the roof needed raising and the sagging middle section needed leveling out.
The work ethic of Andy and Tom was exceptional from arriving early and leaving late. It was a joy to see the pride they take in the work they do.
These two are highly skilled and multi-skilled.
Altogether a great experience and the roof looks so much better and the windows are perfect.

Installed 2 Velux windows in a roof The work was agreed & was due to start early April 2020. Because of Covid 19 Lockdown 1 the schedule had to be pushed back but the communication was clear and the revised date was as early as possible as soon as lockdown eased. We were very happy with the way the work was handled in very difficult circumstances & we know materials eg plaster board was difficult to source.
We have already recommended this firm to some of our friends.

Roof works including new felt, insulation and flashing. On the two occasions we have used AHL Roofing we have been very pleased with their standard of work and the communication before and during the works.
They were professional and courteous at all times.

Cant praise them enough, they worked cleanly and efficiently to remove and repair the roof; which had been leaking for sometime and was very rotten.

He was responsive to queries we had and came over to do remedial work before the full re roof could start so that our property was protected as much as it could be.
Once the work stated Andy and Tom were very courteous and followed all covid safety measures. They worked long days - explained everything to us -it was sad to see them leave!

Roof repair: replacing a ridge tile. I contacted AHL following a storm which had damaged our roof and received an email reply very quickly. As we live in a three-storey townhouse we needed scaffolding for the job to be completed, and Andy arranged for another company to put this up a day before the work was carried out. The ridge tile repair was finished the following day (a roof tile was also replaced at the same time) and the scaffolding taken down the following week. I was very pleased to have the work completed promptly, given the potential dangers of tiles and other loose material falling from the roof, and the price and service were all very good. Thanks to Andy and Hayley for sorting this out.

Wouldn''t hesitate to recommend this company, indeed we may well need some more works to another part of the house in a few years time and they will be our first port of call.

To take out old velux window and fit new one The work was done very well, and they cleared all the old window away and cleaned up ..Have been promised that the guarantee will be following later. Very pleased

Re-installed two velux windows that had been installed incorrectly and were leaking. Two velux windows had been installed at the wrong angle and had began leaking. I consulted the velux recommended installers list and approached AHL, who came and pointed out what needed doing. Had to wait a little while for parts to arrive from velux but once they appeared AHL promptly carried out the repairs even though they were busy elsewhere. No problems with any leaks since.

Re-felting our roof, including removing and replacing all original felt with more modern membrane product, re using original roof tiles and replacing any broken, providing new ridge tiles, renewing lead flashing, making good the whole roof. Removal of waste including skip hire, tidying of site. The roof was guaranteed for 10 years, with a certificate. Scaffolding was organised by them, and included in the price. The company was very good at letting us know when they were able to come and do the work. The price and the way it was worked out was explained clearly. The company arrived at the expected time, and worked extremely hard and efficiently to complete the work in a week. Andy explained what they were doing, and showed us the old roofing felt, which was full of holes. The work was of a very high standard, and left us feeling delighted that our home was waterproof for the winter. The workmen were polite, considerate and careful to work in challenging covid times.
The work was completed quickly, thoroughly and on time, and checks were made at the end, to ensure everything was satisfactory. The skip and the scaffolding were removed as promised. There were no ''hidden extras'' and the price was exactly the same as the original quotation. For an extended semi-detached house, we considered that the company offered good value for money.
Overall, we were very pleased with the work, and would recommend Andy and his team to anyone with a leaky roof.
One minor point is that there were some spots of cement left on our brickweave paving.

AHL replaced a leaky flat Roof for us and also performed some verge repairs to our pitched roof along with pointing to our gable. AHL were very busy at the time and were also held up by some supply issues for the required materials but they kept us well informed at all times regarding their ETA, in fact the communication was great.

Andy and his team Tyler and Tom arrived exactly as promised and did an excellent job.  They were very competent and cheerful and a pleasure to have around - we wouldn''t hesitate to recommend them and we look forward to doing business with them again :-)
