I contacted AHL Roofing via Norfolk Trusted Trader in order to correct defective workmanship undertaken by another contractor who has since disappeared.
Andy was quick to assess the work required, provided a clear quote which was accepted and returned to complete the work in an acceptable time scale.
Payment was only required following satisfactory completion of the work.
Until there has been a heavy downpour it will not be possible to see if the work has been effective in curing the problem but there is a "plan B" involving more extensive roofing work which may be undertaken should the need arise.

Chimney repair and install new lead flashing and new felt. Provided us with a detailed quote. Carried out the works on time, was hard working, and has done a good job. Would definitely use this company again.

We required additional depth of roofing felt in our loft space.
We are elderly and wishing to avoid rogue traders we contacted Age Uk and this firm was one of their recommendations.
An initial viewing of the loft was carried out and a quote for the cost, and an explanation of the work required, was received within two days.
The firm arrived on time, were very polite and friendly, but unobtrusive, and completed the work very efficiently and to a high standard.

Andy was very helpful from start to finish. Extra work needed because of condition of roof due to leak. No extra charged. Andy kept me updated from quote to finishing job. He worked hard and finished the job on time, cleaning up after and taking away all old stuff. Highly recommended would use services again if I needed.

I had a new solar powered velux window and solar blind.
The team arrived on time, were friendly and left no mess.
Unfortunately, through no fault of AHL, their supplier sent the wrong blind and it could not be fit.
However, Andy went out of his way to provide a temporary blind as there was a delay in the correct blind delivery.
Once the new solar blind arrived, Andy fit it and I could not be happier.

We have used AHL Roofing recently for several small works jobs. They ranged from a leaking valley to tiling a new porch roof. Andy and his team were extremely pleasant, organised and professional in their approach and quality of work. We wouldn''t hesitate to recommend their services.

Replace 2 1970''s Velux windows, and carry out remedial work to roof, and refit tiles surrounding windows. Andy was prompt to inspect and provide quote.
He contacted me as soon as he had the delivery, and arranged a date.
He arrived promptly, worked to completion that same day, and the work was as described.
The work area was well protected, and the clean up internally and externally was spotless.
He was polite, efficient, and set a standard that I wish others could work too.

After scaffolding was erected, the upper roof insulation was supplied and installed professionally to give my elderly and vulnerable relative improved thermal efficiency at her property. On there pitch roof installation, damaged roof tiles were replaced with new, and rotted felt under roof tiles was removed and replaced with new. An incorrectly laid outlet pipe was corrected. Facia work was upgraded and rotten timber was replaced with new. Original reed and plaster that has been left by previous workman was found, collected and disposed off correctly (fire hazard). Existing insulation was brought up to standard and correctly laid to improve heat loss. A bird comb was put in the eves. Ridge tiles were bedded and pointed and new verge boarding was applied. A cement fillet to main was of house was used. In all, it was an upgrade. Having searched online for Norfolk Trusted Traders, and checked the company was trading as specialist in their field, I contacted AHL Roofing & Velux Specialists and spoke to their Operations Manager, Mr Andy Sands-Moore. As Lasting Power of Attorney to an elderly relative with dementia, I explained the situation and asked for his professional help and advice. Andy listened carefully and suggested a site visit to ascertain exactly what was required. A full inspection, both internally and with the use of a drone meant that Andy had a clear idea of the work that needed doing. He also understood the need to work with the Carer so that my relative was not disturbed or made anxious by the noise and number of people working on the site. In fact, my relative was quite happy to have a little chat with Andy, and with the work being done. The Carer and the workmen, led by Andy, developed a good working relationship (helped, they said, by tea and biscuits) over the time they were there. Living 100 miles away, I appreciated Andy''s time on the phone, explaining each stage of the work, and the photographs showing the state of the roof, both inside and out.

I was able to make a site visit as the work was finishing, and I met Andy and his team. I was impressed with how they were able to adapt and upgrade the roof-work as they saw fit. It was a professional and cohesive team that worked well to give an excellent result. I appreciated that they cleared up after themselves too.

Removing tiles on a pitched bungalow roof, stripping and replacing felting, replacing existing tiles & making good all work. Also replacing flat garage roof with EPDM rubber roof. From start to finish, Andy & all his team were a dream to work with. From being quite unsure about what needed doing, Andy explained, using photos taken in the loft, of exactly what there problem was and what he could do. There was no pushing to accept the quote, just genuine concern for solving the issue. We felt the quote given was extremely fair & the time frame for work to start exceeded our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble & the care taken to make sure everything remained in order was outstanding. After completing the work on the bungalow roof, we used Andy & his team once more to replace the garage roof. We would have no hesitation in recommending AHL Roofing & Property Maintenance to anyone for their roofing needs. A great ''can do'' attitude, extremely hardworking, tidy & conscientious.

Replacement of two velux low pitch windows. I cannot recommend Andy and his team highly enough. Professional from the start and went beyond the call of duty when velux products didn’t arrive on time. Andy also kept me posted at all times and was helpful and patient when difficult decisions had to be made. I have to say the velux windows replacements and inside finish, look far better than the old windows and finish. Well worth the money, no more leaks and I know we now have a great team if we need any further work done.

Reshaping & re-tiling a roof.The current roof had a number of issues resulting in frequently letting water in. After waiting a whole year for a roofer to re-tile my roof, I gave up & tried somebody new. The results were amazing, AHL visited within 24 hours. I was given Professional advice on the best way of getting the results which would be in keeping with an old Cottage. Then Andy was able to complete the work within a couple of weeks. I had been waiting for over a year, I was over the moon. Andy was also able to advise me on other professionals who could help with other jobs I had in the house & garden.
The roof looks great, the work was finished on time & it was cheaper than expected. I don''t know what more I could have asked for.

New skylight Excellent work would highly recommend

We needed a Velux window replaced. AHL came out promptly with lots of information to let us choose the options. Andy was very helpful and informative. On the day the team were very professional and polite and did a superb job, even cleaning up thoroughly afterwards. We are very pleased with the results. Would definitely recommend.

Repair to roof - storm damage. 2 ridge tiles replaced. I rang their office around 2pm on a Saturday. They took the details of the repair. They had my details because I have used them before. Andy rang me from his mobile within a few minutes. He was nearby and came round straight away. He looked at the damage and gave a verbal estimate and said he would do the work on Monday or Tuesday. He left about 2.35pm.
So it took 35 minutes from my phone call to the estimate.

He texted early on Monday to say that it was too windy to do the work, which it was.

He texted on early Tuesday to give an estimated time of arrival. He came with two other workmen as promised and completed the repair.

I agreed to pay by bank transfer. the Invoice was issued by e-mail at 5.21pm and I did the bank transfer early that evening.

Fast, friendly and efficient. Completely satisfied.

The service provided was to remove and replace four shattered velux windows. I am happy to give a reference for Andy & Ben from AHL Roofing and Property Maintenance Ltd for the work carried out at my house in North Norfolk. On the initial visit Andy explained clearly how much the work was going to cost and booked me in asap. The installation date was adhered to. They both worked extremely efficiently, were punctual and the windows were fitted within the day. Whilst working on the Velux windows Andy noticed some missing tiles etc on the roof and took photos to show me, I will be having them replaced as soon as. I cannot fault Andy and Ben’s workmanship and I always think a sign of a good workman is when they clear up afterwards which they most certainly did. I would not hesitate in recommending this company and I am thrilled with the work they have done.

Dorma roof replacement and other roof repairs. I have never marked any review 10 out of 10 before, but however hard I try I simply cannot fault every aspect of AHL service, dispite Covid and considerable work load the was carried in a totally professional manner at a price that was very reasonable.

Dorma roof repair, plus various roofing repairs, outstanding service with due care to all aspects of health and safety. Faultless service added and abetted by unusually good weather. waited approximately 6 months to have the roof repairs done, no fault of Ahl ltd, due to covid and bad weather, we were keep in formed at all stages and when on site the work was carried with all due care and attention.
My only complaint is that we need more contracts of this quality.

Complete re-roof of bungalow I am extremely impressed with AHL roofing.
Right from the start Andy and his team were highly professional and friendly. When assessing the job he was the only one that got a ladder and had a good look at what he was up against.
