Renfrewshire Trusted Trader

Renfrewshire Trusted Trader used to be managed internally on the Renfrewshire Council website, having been originally set up in 2012. Due to resource constraints and workload, we investigated an alternative solution and were introduced to Trusted Directory Services (TDS).

TDS migrated the Renfrewshire Trusted Trader scheme over to a new purpose built location on trustedtrader.scot and took over all responsibility of day-to-day contact with scheme members and dealing with initial applications and renewals.

Thanks to TDS, the Renfrewshire Trusted Trader scheme has been able to survive budgetary pressures and challenges and is an important and useful tool in the fight against doorstep crime and helping our local residents find reliable and trusted tradespeople.
