Edinburgh Trusted Trader

We engaged Trusted Directory Services (TDS) back in 2014 to set up a brand new Trusted Trader scheme for Edinburgh. Building on the long-established Dundee Trusted Trader, we worked with TDS to develop a user-friendly platform that minimised impacts on Trading Standards resources, with TDS doing most of the legwork, admin, and payment systems, freeing us up to carry out the detailed vetting.

Since formally launching in 2015, the scheme has grown to become an established 300+ member scheme, that is regularly used and trusted by Edinburgh residents and generates tangible economic benefits to the Edinburgh economy.
