Kitchen had been previously rewired by "an electrician" who had been recommended by a family member but RCD constantly tripped
Matt carried out various tests and I was advised the wiring was inadequate.

This was rectified by splitting the main house sockets from the kitchen/ utility sockets
He then converted kitchen utility socket circuit to a ring main to cope with the loads in normal use

I shall have no hesitation in contacting Matt the next time I need any electrical work doing Problem was handled and dealt with professionally from start to finish

electrical We had an electrical emergency on a saturday afternoon and randomly contacted MCT from the trusted Traders website. Matt came out within 2 hours and sorted the problem. This is the first time we have used MCT but intend to use them again for follow up work.

Sort out & investigate why lights in kitchen extension weren’t coming on. Matt was really helpful, managed to fit in my small job between bigger project which meat I didn’t have to wait. He was really reliable & very happy with job. Will use again as have other small electrical jobs that need doing.

To supply and replace faulty electric radiator. A pleasant and very professional electrician. Should we need him again we’d have no hesitation in contacting him.

Replaced light fittings, made safe some exposed wires, advised on safety issues and mystery wires! Matt was punctual, friendly and efficient and carried out all the previously agreed tasks and a few extra ones too. He also advised regarding the suitability of some fittings and solved the mystery of some unexplained cables. I was very impressed with all aspects of his visit to my home and the work he did there. This was the first time I had used his services and he is the first person I shall call from now on whenever there is electrical work to be done at my home.

Fit two extractor fans. Matt was friendly, polite, and professional. He completed the works quickly and with minimal disruption. This is the second time we have used MCT Electrical Services and would not hesitate to use them again, highly recommended.

Find and fix fault with 3 down lights. Replace light switches and pendant. I would certainly recommend this firm excellent work.

To install new cooker circuit. Install cooker isolator and outlet, carry out testing. Matthew Taylor of MCT Electrical services has performed several quite extensive electrical tasks for us over the past few years. The quality of his work has always impressed us as has the admin, side of his organisation, thoroughly reliable, very able and relates maturely.

 Convert single socket outlet to double behind the kitchen units
 Install 2x LED recessed panels (as discussed) above the sink area
 Install 1x 1200x 300 LED panel in the kitchen
 Install 2 way switch for the office lights
 Replace the existing office lighting with 2x LED panels (as discussed)
 Install catenary wire for the supply to the outside lights
 Install 3x 20W LED security flood lights on the tree
 Reinstate the supply to the flood lights
 Install PIR motion sensor or the outside lighting
 Carry out required electrical testing
 Issue certificates Very satisfied with the service. Would use MCT Electrical again.

External light fitting replacement, two additional external lights and new light in kitchen cupboard. Matt was pleasant to deal with and kept to promised timescales. The work was carried out to our satisfaction and we are very pleased with the results.

Install an additional power outlet in the kitchen.
Move the ceiling light fitting in the bedroom from over the window to the centre of the room and replace pendant.
Replace wall-mounted light fitting in bedroom and chase cable into wall.
Carry out necessary testing and issue certificates.
Light fittings supplied by customer. This was the third time that I have used MCT electrical. The previous jobs included replacing extractor fans, replacing sockets, fitting a new socket and light fitting, and replacing the consumer unit. In each case they have been very professional and carried out the agreed work, at the agreed time, to a good standard and for the agreed price. They also do a much better job of clearing up afterwards than many other contractors.

Update of main board, Kitchen cooker and hob replacements and lighting work Despite difficulties beyond any reasonable control an excellent piece of work was done. Thoroughly recommendable

fault finding and repair plus installation of additional sockets this was a difficult job, finding faults in the circuits in an old house. Floorboards had to be taken up. The work was completed in a considerate manner and we were kept informed of progress.
