Full house rewire including provision of additional wiring for smart lighting, cat 6 network cabling, additional external lights plus deck lighting. Matt returned my initial call promptly and arranged a visit to review the required work.
The details of the job were explained clearly and Matt made some helpful suggestions and also offered prices for alternative fittings for me to select from.
Matt and Ash worked well and were considerate of the needs of my family as we were still living in the house during the rewire. At the end of each day the site was left clean and safe.

Replace existing alarm system with wireless system including new:-

- internal control panel;
- external bell boxes;
- internal motion detectors;

Matt had previously visited site and provided suggestions as to the type of work that could be undertaken (including cheaper options). A detailed estimate of the cost of the work we requested was forwarded by email within 24 hours of this visit. The quote was accepted and arrangements were made for the the work to be carried out.

Matt and Ashley arrived promptly and worked in an efficient and professional manner. They managed the work in a sensible fashion and Matt''s explanation of how the installed system worked was straight-forward and jargon free.

I know that I have only given a 6 for price but that is as a customer seeking the best value possible (I did try!!). That would not prevent me from using their services again, if required, and also unhesitatingly recommending this company to others.

Fitting a double electrical socket Matt was very polite and responded quickly to our request for a job quote. He came and carried out the work efficiently and invoiced as quoted. Very reliable

Fitted additional ceiling pendant in spare bedroom plus channeled in and fitted shaver socket in bathroom. Matt was friendly and helpful on the phone, and arrived when he said he wold to look at the job. When we wanted to add something else to the job and contacted him by phone, he was pleased to hear from us and happy to add the job in. As it wasn''t urgent, we agreed he would fit us in around another larger job, but that it would be done within the next 2-3 weeks. He contacted us to ask if he could come 2 days later, and he and a colleague arrived, were very friendly and polite, did the job really very quickly and efficiently, with only a small amount of mess left behind - but channelling into the wall does tend to produce a lot of rubble. We''re really pleased with the end result - the channelled in shaver socket looks superb and the plastering was great. This is the second time we''ve used Matt and we''d happily use him again or recommend him.

Variety of small electrical jobs - replacing plug fascias and switches and a adding a new plug socket in a terrace house. Adding the plug to the party wall was tricky due to soft brickwork but the end result was very good. Switches and new fascias are tidy and the finish looks good. Work was carried out with a minimum of fuss. Polite staff; turned up on time and cleared up afterwards. Good price. Very happy.

MCT carried out a service to my alarm system. I have used Matts company on a couple of occasions in the past and have always been satisfied with the service he has provided.
He always turns up at the agreed time and his prices are very reasonable.

Update existing consumer unit to comply with current IEE wiring regulations.
Install additional double sockets to majority of rooms, move wall lights and replace with new lights.
Install PIR security light, sub-mains for consumer unit and outdoor electrics.
Replace bathroom extractor fan. We chose MCT Electrical (East Anglia) Ltd based on their customer feedback through this forum and can mirror all the positive remarks. A fantastic professional approach throughout - from the initial appointment for the quote, to agreement for four days work, to turning up exactly at the time and days agreed, to working their way through each room in a methodical manner and cleaning up everyday. We will be asking them back to fit the electrics to our summerhouse as soon as it has been built.

Update whole electrical panel unit to comply with current IEE wiring. Update main supply and earth conductors and test bonding conductors. Replace faulty shower cord pull and two light switches. Test all changes to ensure everything worked before notifying building control and issuing certificates. Very efficient from free quote to doing the work. Professional and reliable, so would recommend to others.
