I recently had a Tesla Powerwall 2 battery supplied and installed by Green Home Energy Solutions, and I must say, my experience was outstanding. From the initial consultation to the installation, the team demonstrated utmost professionalism paired with a friendly attitude that made the entire process enjoyable. They were very knowledgeable, efficiently addressing all my questions and concerns about the battery system.

The installation itself was seamless, the product itself was competitively priced and the team ensured everything was perfectly set up, taking care to explain the features and functionality of the system. Very helpful before, during and after installation.

Our project was installation of a 5Kwp solar panel array on the roof of a 3-storey town house linked to a 10Kwh Solar Edge DC-coupled battery. A Solar Edge hybrid inverter was used and a My Energy "Eddi" diverter. We also had a Myenergy "Zappi" EV charger fitted at the same time. The work was carried out in a thoroughly professional manner, as promised and on time. The size of the system installed was well-optimised to our property and energy usage patterns. Greenhome people provided us with sound advice at all times. The Solar Edge and My Energy apps. that monitor the equipment are quite slick and provide good information on how it is operating. Greenhome technicians set these up for us on the day of installation. They also helped with registering the system with the National Grid which was required before a SEG tariff could be set up with our energy supplier. Operation of the equipment requires on-going optimisation to our energy usage patterns, changes in the contract arrangements with our energy supplier etc. so the ease of getting-in-touch with Greenhome for advice is very welcome. We found their quotations for equipment and installation costs to be in line with our expectations based on our pre-contarct web-based research. That said, it was quite an expensive project. In this respect, it is a welcome thing that the solar+battery installation is VAT free. The EV charger installation, however, does attract VAT.

Green Home Energy Solutions had been recommended to us by several local people. The Company quoted for and installed Solar Panels and a Storage Batteries system. After initial discussions with the Company representative, who answered all our questions and provided a comprehensive and detailed quote, a date was set and scaffolding was put in place. The whole process was well-organised and everything was installed to plan and on time. Can thoroughly recommend the Company's work ethic.

Green Home Energy Solutions advised us on, and then installed, 14 solar panels, an Eddi and a battery. They explained the different options that were available, helped us think through what our current and future needs might be, and were very patient with answering all our questions. And we asked a lot! They guided us through the preparatory stage and kept us informed at every point. The installation team were very professional and like everyone who works at Green Home, were very genuine people. They treated our home with respect and left it clean and tidy. Once the installation was completed, they helped us set up the apps on our phone and talked us through the types of energy tariffs available. We recommend them highly. Originally, we were going to go with another company, but hearing all the good things our neighbors had to say about Green Home, we decided to switch and we are very glad that we did. They very experienced and have been installing solar systems for many years, and they are also available to answer questions and solve any issues.

I have a biomass boiler which clearly had a broken part, I was advised off call out charge, given details of parts to order and arranged for them to service and fit parts. All bills paid, but my boiler didn’t work. So the engineer came back and despite me pointing out there are a lot of unburnt pellets in ash drawer, decided it was the flow of pellets. Following this the boiler didn’t light once but I was charged a further £180. The Engineer came back again and I had been doing my own investigation into problem and the number of unburnt pellets in the ash drawer, this time also pointing out a gap at grate, which it transpires has warped out of shape allowing pellets to drop through. Since this has been straightened it has kit first time everytime but they yet again charged me £120 call out fee when this problem has clearly been there from outset.

Green Home installed solar panels, a diverter and a Tesla powerwall and upgraded our fuse box.

Right from the first contact through to completing installation the whole job was completed very professionally. Phone and email contacts were always available, helpful and all their responses were timely. The installers came when arranged and were very professional and went the extra mile to make sure that everything was done to our satisfaction. We had one outstanding issue on the diverter setup which was rectified immediately. We could not have asked for any more from either the installers and office staff - many thanks for looking after us.

Solar panels installed and Tesla battery. We were unsure whether to go ahead with the battery but now delighted we have done so. Work carried out efficiently and when scheduled. Would be very happy to recommend.

Peter and the team took us through the whole process of our solar and battery install in clear understandable steps. They handled all the paperwork permission process with UK Power Networks and arranged the scaffolding for our property well in advance making the install really smooth. Both myself and my partner work from home and all the Green Home guys onsite worked with us to minimise disruption and make sure we were up and running as quickly as possible. We have been really pleased and impressed with the service and support from the Green Home guys and will definitely use them again.
