On a project with a number of inherent difficulties, including particularly having to work around elderly clients in residence, CPS managed to find appropriate solutions in every case. The workforce was friendly and caring, left things clean and tidy at the end of each working day, and achieved an above-average standard of workmanship throughout The inevitable extra costs were billed and paid for as soon as they were incurred making settlement of the final account very straightforward. We would employ them again without hesitation.

Refit of main bathroom, creation of new ensuite, fitting of bannister rail, new cooker hood and ceiling lights This is the second time that we have used CPS for major works. We were so pleased with the high standards, professionalism and friendliness last time that we didn''t even think about asking anyone else to quote. Again the work was finished on schedule, despite some surprises on the way ( nothing to do with Trevor and his team who calmly sorted out the unexpected developments!). We are again delighted with the very high standards. It was particularly helpful to have guidance from Trevor on our proposals.

Single Storey Extension/Annexe/Granny Annexe We have been let down by previous contractors with works on our property and wanted to find someone who we could rely on and asked for recommendations from friends. They pointed us to County Property Services and we are so glad they did.

We contacted Trevor as we were looking at extending on the back of our property to house my elderly parents so we wanted to create an annexe in which they could have independence but with the reassurance of help at hand when needed.

From initial contact Trevor and Aaron were very helpful with suggestions and ideas for a single storey extension and put us in contact with an Architect so we could push ahead with our plans. We received a fully detailed estimate and agreed to the work. Mel and Sharon in the office were always happy to answer queries and were very prompt with replying to any questions and we were always advised as to when invoices would be produced.

Aaron and his team worked very hard and extremely quickly, despite delays with materials and a couple of unexpected problems along the way. They were always polite and happy to answer any questions or issues we had. The always arrived on time and when expected which was pretty much every day until the build was completed. We never felt awkward or uneasy, the guys were so approachable and friendly. And a few cups of tea always were always appreciated!

The attention to detail and high standard of finish has been noted by friends and family that have seen the end result and my parents couldn''t be happier. In fact the finished space look like its always been there as it blends in so well at the back of the house.

We would never hesitate to recommend Trevor and his team and would certainly approach them first for any further internal alterations we decide to do in the future.

County Property Services handled our building work to knock through between our kitchen and dining room, first fix electrics and plumbing, plastering and moving doors, creating an opening for patio doors, installing gas supply and upgrading water supply. County Property Services have been absolutely fantastic to deal with, from start to finish. When Trevor came and surveyed the site, he gave us helpful advice and we received a prompt and accurate quote. We knew we were in safe hands. When work started we were blown away by the speed, efficiency and quality of the work done. This is a professional team who work really well together. They were on site as promised everyday and as they don''t buy in external contractors there were no delays. They carried out the work with consideration for our home and they dealt with the challenges of obtaining building supplies during the pandemic without hassle for us. The communication and efficiency of their office staff was excellent and we never had to chase for information. We only wish we''d had the budget to use them for the entire job to completion. We have recommended them to everyone we know because they made what is a stressful process as smooth and worry-free as possible. It''s clear that Trevor takes person pride in carrying out building work that is quality and providing an excellent service.

New oak and galss stairs, new oak doors and new hall flooring laid. From start to finish I cannot recommend this company enough. We were kept updated throughout and the quality of the work was excellent. Trevor and his team ensured everything was carried out to our total satisfaction and in general they were very tidy, courteous and keen to do a great job for us. From initial quotation to completion of the work we were always confident that Trev and his team were the right choice for us. All of our questions were answered accurately and honestly and options were presented whenever we were unsure.

Conversion of garage to a downstairs bedroom with ensuite, replacement of existing ensuite, replacement of lights, installing kitchen cupboards, refixing floorboards, roof repairs Being new to the area, were very nervous about appointing a firm to do substantial works to our property. Trevor was easy to talk to and at our initial meeting and gave some sensible advice to achieve our ideas. The team worked tireless in appalling weather conditions. When work was done inside, they left the house tidier than they found it. The work was done very competently and with a high degree of professionalism. Trevor has an amazing team around him, and excellent support staff. We are absolutely delighted with their work and would be pleased and proud to show this to potential clients. They were so helpful when additional unexpected issues cropped up. They are so good that we are now going to have further work done. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Completely rebuilt cloakroom WC and introduced new radiator to room. We were very pleased with the work carried out, Chris in particular was a pleasure to deal with, he went above and beyond to make difficult parts of the job look easy and his work ethic was fantastic.

Complete bathroom re-fit including new floor and plastering Trevor and his team did a fantastic job from start to finish, nothing was a problem for them.
The boys arrived every morning worked solid all day and cleaned up everywhere before they left in the evening. If a problem arose it was sorted with no fuss.
Trevor made visits during the build to make sure everything was ok, if we needed anything extra like more tiles or fixtures he sorted it.

House renovation Trevor and his team were exceptional from start to finish. All the work done was to a very high standard. County Property Services successfully completed a two-storey rear extension to my property. Over an 8 month period Trevor, Aaron, Mel and the team at County Property Services did a fantastic job in delivering a two-storey extension to our property.

From the beginning of the process Trevor and the team worked alongside us in the delivery of this project. This included working with the Architect and Structural Engineers during the concept stages to better understand the intricacies of the project, but to also add their own input into the design stages. We found this to be a fantastic help which, in the early stages, was done mostly at evenings and weekends. Trevor and Aaron were happy to attend, these meetings and it served us, and the project, very well.

As build was due to commence, Trevor and Mel produced a full schedule of works, itemised and clear to understand. A complete contract was presented to approve/comment on, along with pricing. This was essential and supported our budgeting. Amends were then handled on an adhoc basis as design and level of fixtures and fittings were agreed. Costs were adjusted, agreed and entered via contract revisions. All very professional and with a high attention to detail.

As the build began, Trevor and team would arrive around 7:30am each morning and work onsite until at least 17:00pm each day (including Fridays). A fact that was noticed by our neighbours who were very impressed by this - as were we.

Each day the team arrived in clean modern vans, were well presented, accommodated the access needs of our neighbours and were pleasant and happy to help. Each evening the team undertook a clean of areas they''d worked in. This was a great help as we were living in the property during the works and have a small child.

Attention to detail was meticulous throughout; for example, the layout of floor tiles to be equidistant between the door threshold and wall tiles positioned so as to be centred below the bathroom mirrors. This was taken to the next level with Tony and Toby laying the lounge and kitchen/diner floor at a perfect 45 degree angle throughout. They did this not because it was easy (because it wasn''t), but because it would enhance the overall finish - and we couldn''t be happier.

Throughout, Mel and the office team presented updated invoices clearly, consistently and accurately enabling us to track cost against budget throughout the build.

Overall we couldn''t have been happier with the process. This was the first time we have undertaken a project like this and would only go with County Property Services should we undertake a similar project in the future.
