Trevor and his team renovated my kitchen over the last three weeks. The quality of their work is excellent.

Over the last year I have used CPS for several jobs. First, to build an extension to house a wet room and create a downstairs bedroom (a disabled adaptation), then a kitchen replacement, then a complete reroof. They have recently completed a replacement of the upstairs bathroom.

I have always found them very pleasant to work with and very considerate to my disabled husband. The quality of workmanship has been first rate and any minor issues have been dealt with quickly. They worked extremely well with the architect for the extension in dealing a structural issue with the original plans, making constructive suggestions for dealing with the problem.

I would have no hesitation in using them again.

CPS completed a full renovation and refit of our kitchen and refresh of our lounge, including: removal of utility room wall, bricking up the back door, adding bifold doors and a new doorway to the lounge. We chose CPS as Trevor, Mel and the team offered a fully ‘project managed’ service from start to finish and held excellent client reviews. Our high expectations were consistently met and exceeded throughout the project. All of the CPS team attending our home , and the few trusted contractors used by them, were professional, friendly, highly skilled in their trades and respectful of our property and lifestyle at all times. We were consulted at every stage during the work and updated every evening by Trevor or one of the team on the daily progress and plans for the next day. Even amidst the heavy building work, they thoroughly tidied up every night, ensuring dust and disruption was kept to the absolute minimum for us and our pets. All work is completed to an exceptional quality. Mel offered excellent office support from start to finish, keeping the project on track and running smoothly. We are absolutely delighted with the results and would not hesitate to recommend CPS 100%.

I had a bath removed and a walk in shower with new shower unit installed. This involved tiling and the re-routing I’m water pipes. The team did an excellent job, everything looks good, they even salvaged tiles from the bath to match and reuse. The work was done while I was away on holiday and Mel sent me photos! When I got home i was delighted!

CPS replaced carpet with tiling in our hallway. Having chosen the tiles I ordered these separately but CPS provided adhesive, grout and other necessary items within their quote. They also removed and disposed of the old carpet and prepared the floor for tiles.
They worked quickly and efficiently and since the work was carried out over two days they left the area clean and tidy at the end of day 1 as well as once the job was finished.
I would not hesitate recommend CPS, both for their work and communication throughout from quotation, to getting the job booked in and payment.

Had an emergency. Cold water pipe push fitment for ensuite wash basin failed and was leaking. After looking at checktrader contacted this company. Melanie was very pleasant and understanding and despatched a plumber. She rang later with an update on when the plumber would be arriving.
Chris the plumber assessed what was required and explained it very clearly. He was really helpful and replaced the fitment very efficiently. Stopcock had seized and he replaced it very competently.
Had not used this company before but will definitely be using them again in the future.

I have had a complete kitchen replacement with major amendments to the utility room plus a few minor things sorted out. This is the third time that we have used CPS for major works, and we simply would not use any other firm. We have received excellent care and advice throughout. The guys work hard and are skilled at what they do. They are also good fun and clean up every night which is a lovely bonus!

CPS have carried out a number of projects for us previously and we had no hesitation in using them again for a new cloakroom, a new garden decking area and new windows. County Property Services have completely transformed our family bathroom. They knocked through our 2 rooms plus airing cupboard and made it into one large stunning bathroom which I still can’t believe is ours!
County property removed our existing bathroom units etc, tiles, flooring as well as the boiler, tanks, water cylinders etc.
They installed a brand new combi boiler into our loft area and 2 new radiators. Our bathroom areas were stripped back to a shell and knocked through. New flooring, walls, ceiling, plumbing and electrics were completed to such a high standard and fitted our lovely new bathroom suite, complete with free standing bath, separate shower area, vanity unit with electric mirror, cupboard and toilet.
I’ve probably missed a few things that they’ve done but it has all been fantastic.

This was our first building project with CPS and we were delighted! We had a floor levelled and then laid down, bathroom fitted, doors, lights and toilets fitted and light tunnels placed in our attic.

Bathroom Refurbishment The CPS team were professional all the way through the project. The work done was completed to a high standard and within the time frame. They worked in a very organised way, clearing debris as they progressed. The team were always accommodating, working with us throughout the selection of the products and the design of the bathroom. They also made it clear that they would be prepared to come back to adjust any possible faults if required.

Rear extension and taking out some internal walls to make open plan along with a new kitchen. Outside hard landscaping and some new windows. We have used CPS for a previous project and were delighted with the work carried out and therefore did not hesitate to use them again. On a project with a number of inherent difficulties, including particularly having to work around elderly clients in residence, CPS managed to find appropriate solutions in every case. The workforce was friendly and caring, left things clean and tidy at the end of each working day, and achieved an above-average standard of workmanship throughout The inevitable extra costs were billed and paid for as soon as they were incurred making settlement of the final account very straightforward. We would employ them again without hesitation.

Remove and Renew en-suite bathroom This is the third job Trevor and his team have done for us, and again it was of a high standard.

Single Storey Extension/Annexe/Granny Annexe We have been let down by previous contractors with works on our property and wanted to find someone who we could rely on and asked for recommendations from friends. They pointed us to County Property Services and we are so glad they did.

We contacted Trevor as we were looking at extending on the back of our property to house my elderly parents so we wanted to create an annexe in which they could have independence but with the reassurance of help at hand when needed.

From initial contact Trevor and Aaron were very helpful with suggestions and ideas for a single storey extension and put us in contact with an Architect so we could push ahead with our plans. We received a fully detailed estimate and agreed to the work. Mel and Sharon in the office were always happy to answer queries and were very prompt with replying to any questions and we were always advised as to when invoices would be produced.

Aaron and his team worked very hard and extremely quickly, despite delays with materials and a couple of unexpected problems along the way. They were always polite and happy to answer any questions or issues we had. The always arrived on time and when expected which was pretty much every day until the build was completed. We never felt awkward or uneasy, the guys were so approachable and friendly. And a few cups of tea always were always appreciated!

The attention to detail and high standard of finish has been noted by friends and family that have seen the end result and my parents couldn''t be happier. In fact the finished space look like its always been there as it blends in so well at the back of the house.

County Property Services handled our building work to knock through between our kitchen and dining room, first fix electrics and plumbing, plastering and moving doors, creating an opening for patio doors, installing gas supply and upgrading water supply. County Property Services have been absolutely fantastic to deal with, from start to finish. When Trevor came and surveyed the site, he gave us helpful advice and we received a prompt and accurate quote. We knew we were in safe hands. When work started we were blown away by the speed, efficiency and quality of the work done. This is a professional team who work really well together. They were on site as promised everyday and as they don''t buy in external contractors there were no delays. They carried out the work with consideration for our home and they dealt with the challenges of obtaining building supplies during the pandemic without hassle for us. The communication and efficiency of their office staff was excellent and we never had to chase for information. We only wish we''d had the budget to use them for the entire job to completion. We have recommended them to everyone we know because they made what is a stressful process as smooth and worry-free as possible. Trevor was easy to talk to and at our initial meeting and gave some sensible advice to achieve our ideas. The team worked tireless in appalling weather conditions. When work was done inside, they left the house tidier than they found it. The work was done very competently and with a high degree of professionalism. County Property Services successfully completed a two-storey rear extension to my property. Over an 8 month period Trevor, Aaron, Mel and the team at County Property Services did a fantastic job in delivering a two-storey extension to our property.

From the beginning of the process Trevor and the team worked alongside us in the delivery of this project. This included working with the Architect and Structural Engineers during the concept stages to better understand the intricacies of the project, but to also add their own input into the design stages. We found this to be a fantastic help which, in the early stages, was done mostly at evenings and weekends. Trevor and Aaron were happy to attend, these meetings and it served us, and the project, very well.

As build was due to commence, Trevor and Mel produced a full schedule of works, itemised and clear to understand. A complete contract was presented to approve/comment on, along with pricing. This was essential and supported our budgeting. Amends were then handled on an adhoc basis as design and level of fixtures and fittings were agreed. Costs were adjusted, agreed and entered via contract revisions. All very professional and with a high attention to detail.

As the build began, Trevor and team would arrive around 7:30am each morning and work onsite until at least 17:00pm each day (including Fridays). A fact that was noticed by our neighbours who were very impressed by this - as were we.

Each day the team arrived in clean modern vans, were well presented, accommodated the access needs of our neighbours and were pleasant and happy to help. Each evening the team undertook a clean of areas they''d worked in. This was a great help as we were living in the property during the works and have a small child.

Attention to detail was meticulous throughout; for example, the layout of floor tiles to be equidistant between the door threshold and wall tiles positioned so as to be centred below the bathroom mirrors. This was taken to the next level with Tony and Toby laying the lounge and kitchen/diner floor at a perfect 45 degree angle throughout. They did this not because it was easy (because it wasn''t), but because it would enhance the overall finish - and we couldn''t be happier.

Throughout, Mel and the office team presented updated invoices clearly, consistently and accurately enabling us to track cost against budget throughout the build.

Overall we couldn''t have been happier with the process. This was the first time we have undertaken a project like this and would only go with County Property Services should we undertake a similar project in the future.

In spite of the numerous unexpected problems that they encountered,they simply took them all in their stride, sorted them all out and corrected all the previous faults.

They completed a bathroom refurbishment for me earlier this year and I was so delighted I went straight back to them to do everything else in the property. This is a holiday home and the works have been done in stages. I wasn’t usually there while the work was being done, but they always did over and above whatever I’d asked for. They always listened to what I wanted, and advised on the best way to achieve it. They had to run waste pipes under the patio for about 30 metres, but you would never know it had been disturbed, it was put back so well. They always cleared up afterwards and everywhere was left immaculate. They also provided all the carpets and laid them as each room was finished.
They are a highly professional company, friendly and approachable. I’m already thinking of other works I would like them to do and have been recommending them to all the neighbors. I only wish they worked in my home county of Hertfordshire, I would be able to employ them for many months!

Painted throughout. We employed CPS to undertake a remodel of our previous kitchen, utility and dining rooms. These were all knocked through into a single space, with the back door being removed and filled in, new patio doors put in place, new walls, ceilings (with lights) and fitted a new kitchen supplied by Wren. Plus they layed new flooring throughout the hallway, office, downstairs toilet and the new kitchen diner as well as putting a new suite in the downstairs loo.

We then challenged CPS and their team to do this in two weeks whilst we went on honeymoon for a fortnight! On our return we can only say we were absolutely astounded by what they had managed to achieve - all the works had been carried out to an extremely high standard, and all done without the need to interrupt us whilst we were away. The house was also left lovely and clean in those rooms affected.

County Property Services Ltd have been carrying out necessary maintenance and repairs to my father''s property for a number of years while it is currently let, their service has always been very reasonable in terms of cost/workmanship and prompt and I am happy to continue using their services.

This included all removing a wall, bricking up a doorway, new electrics, re-siting pipework for sanitary ware and heating, plastering, plumbing, flooring,decorating, tiling, fixing furniture, and fittings.

To replace a broken reinforced glass skylight (app, 6 ft x 4 ft) on a steeply sloping roof. The damage occurred during, very cold weather with heavy snow and ice which left the glass in a dangerous position.
CPS - County Property Services, dealt with this tricky problem and responded quickly when the glass supplied has found to be the wrong size.

The team is multi skilled so there wasn't any job that they couldn't do.
The work was of an exceptionally high standard, completed in good time and reasonably priced.

Changing entrance to new garden and installing new UPVC windows and doors. Installing new en-suite shower room in old utility, installing new kitchen, flooring, LED sport lights, boiler, cooker, upholstery and decorating. Removing old bathroom suite, installing brand new suite and decorating. Re-carpentry stairs handing. Fantastic serve and workmanship completed and great standard and within a very quick turnaround for the work required (approx 10 days).
House was kept clean and tidy and Trevor was very helpful throughout the whole process and achieved all of our requirements.
All communication was via phone and email and the completed job was outstanding.

Renovation of terraced house in Norwich including replacement kitchen, and bathroom and complete re plastering. Unexpected work came from joists not joined to wall (not known until kitchen roof removed ). Trevor and his team provided detailed quotes, kept to them and additional work, which could not have been for seen, was priced extremely fairly, including costs coming in lower than quoted. Trevor was always available, met us on site and only submitted his final invoice once we were satisfied all work was complete. Couldn't recommend him higher.
