S1 builders have done various types of work for me are the past 4 years, including decorating, fitting bathroom, fitting shower, re pointing, damp proofing they are an efficient and reliable firm, and I have been pleased to recommend them to others.

Concerting of central part of existing driveway, replacing the existing gravel. Long drive way. Stef and the guys were respectful of my elderly father during the work. Dad was very pleased with the outcome and can now use his mobility scooter safety on the driveway.

Restoration of a 17th century house according to the requirements of English Heritage, a quotation impossible because of the extent of the work, and unexpected additional work required because of poor maintenance over the centuries. I was at all times kept informed of expenditure and any delays due to weather and slow response by E. H to ongoing plans submitted.

Remove old shower and basin in bedroom and make good walls and floor.
Tile bath enclosure.
Remove concrete floor tiles, level surface and lay floor tiles. Some snags, but were resolved quickly and without quibbling.
