Paved drive to enable safe mobility and wheeled walkers. Helpful and considerate, made sure l was safe when leaving or re entering my house. Always polite and not noisy workmen. Would certainly call on the firm again if needed.

Clearout of loft and repairs to wiring following squirrel damage involved insulation, access boards, light, bird guards, capping of wiring, smoke alarms, bathroom fan, and light. Trusted to do work when property vacant. Attitude, helpful, and easy to deal with. Understood our situation.

Construction of small extension to provide toilet and handwashing facility Excellent job done well- despite terrible weather ! the one thing that was better than any thing else was the morning- every morning e-mail containing it they were coming, or it they were not- why not !!

Refurbishment of bathroom. Repointing of external walls The firm refurbished a bathroom (new bathroom suite, retiling, new lighting and flooring) and repointed the front and side of the house (replacing cement joints with sand/lime mix). For both jobs the work was of a high quality and completed within a good time frame. The builders arrived promptly each day and were careful to clean up before they left. They were all very friendly and kept us up to date with progress, as did Stefan via e-mail and site visits. Overall we were very pleased

Removal of chimney breast Having had a poor experience with two sets of builders and a dreadful experience with a third when renovating our last house in Sussex, it was with some trepidation that we hired S1 Builders to remove a large chimney breast from the kitchen and the room above it in our new house in Norfolk. But our experience with Stefan and his team was so different:
• They turned up on time. They said 8.00. to 8.30. and every morning they were here by 8.10. and ready to start work
• They put in a full day’s work, never leaving before 4.30. and, on two occasions, staying later than that
• They were pleasant and friendly but got on with the work and didn’t waste my time talking about themselves, their families or the films they''d seen
• They worked methodically and were meticulous about keeping the area clean.
• Every day before they left I was told what they’d done and what they planned to do the following day
• The standard of work was high and we were consulted throughout the process.
• They allowed two weeks for the work and finished a day early.

the work carried out was to give my very old kitchen a "face lift". I found s1builders very helpful and efficient from start to finish and I am more than happy with the end result.

Since moving to North Norfolk last year we''ve used S1 Builders for work ranging from roofing to fencing and modifications to a workshop. We''ve just asked them to go ahead with some drainage work and connection to a main sewer. They''ve always been efficient and friendly delivering a good standard of workmanship at decent prices. Recommended. The description of the work and the fact that we''ve gone back to S1 Builders asking them to do more work says it all. They turn up on time, do good work and always put in a full day. Always friendly and helpful. When a neighbour had some work by another builder that needed scaffolding, S1 completed the work on that side of our home first in order to give them access.

Supply and fix soffit and fascia replacement. Supply and fix skirting board in toilet. S1 Builders have carried out a number of jobs for me and I have been extremely pleased with the work that they have done.

We had a brick retaining wall built on our driveway - new curbing stones laid the whole length of the drive.
Large patio laid in the rear garden. A date was set for 7th January, and S1 arrived as scheduled on time and discussed with us again the works required to ensure everything was covered. They impressed us with their organisation, efficiency, neat and tidy workers who left the site each day in an orderly fashion.
The work was completed to a high standard and we would have no hesitation in recommending this company. On the last day they even worked with the aide of external lighting to finish some steps in the front garden.

Change imperial immersion tank for metric tank. Change fitting (shelves) in airing cupboard to accommodate new immersion tank re-wire and new piping. Work carried out carefully and cheerfully. Very clean and tidy worker.

Chimney rebuild gable end repointed 200 + blown bricks replaced. An excellent builder. A1 communication. A friendly hardworking team of craftsman.

3 main bathrooms - complete refit cloakroom - complete refit additional outside shower.
New water tank in roof new electrics move radiator. Stefan, Ben, Dave, Adrian Stewart,Tim, Dan, Blondie and Craig were all amazing! They were here at 8 am every day for 6 weeks and worked hard every moment.
They went over and above so many times and were polite and professional throughout.
They did an outstanding job and we will be having the team again for the next project we undertake -

New kitchen fitting and removal of old. New light fittings in kitchen. New Dishwasher plumbing. New range cooker fitted and filling of splashback.
Renovation of kitchen workshop. S1 Builders did a fantastic job. The hand made kitchen had been made to the wrong plan but Stephan and his team managed to make it look great and I am extremely pleased with the end product.

Removal of cladding and then bricked up. Excellent work done. All finished before the end time. Very tidy and polite workers very hard working. Really professional and caring good value for money.

Removing a concrete garage roof. Extension to garage new timber flat roof. The work started on the agreed date and throughout the job, communication was faultless. The operatives were always punctual, pleasant and helpful. I was very satisfied with S1 Builders and the work they did for me.

Conversion of downstairs utility room into shower room. Fitted a new shower cubicle, basin and toilet. New tiling and lower ceiling with spotlights. All piping hidden from view. More than satisfied with the work carried out. Stephan and Ben made the whole experience much easier than expected. Will do and already have used them again.
