Everything was extremely easy and quick, appointments were timed perfectly and the measuring/fitting was perfectly carried out. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cooks Blinds Norwich to anyone wanting to have the best treatment.

I sought advice from Cooks re: a product to shield my garden room from the sun.
I was mis-sold a Bambrella Umbrella System at a cost of £3000+. The umbrella system was far too large for my small patio, more suited to a large country house or hotel. I should have been advised to have external roller blinds, a much cheaper option too.
I complained to Cooks: complete lack of empathy re the fact my patio had been rendered unusable by the huge size of the umbrella system.
Cooks spent the next 3 months falsely arguing that the product was fit for purpose. After 6 months I recovered my deposit through my bank's chargeback process and Cooks removed the umbrella system.
I have since been assured by Cooks that they have reviewed their sales processes and their complaint handling processes.
I will never know if the salesperson intentionally mis-sold me the umbrella or whether the mis-selling was due to inexperience/ incompetence. But I cannot recommend a company whose complaints process is so protracted and so completely lacks consideration of customer needs.

Only purchased a small venetian blind but the service was first class the product looks great was simple to fix and good quality.

Used them twice now for blinds.

The sales and customer service team were fantastic and kept us updated at all times. The service team who attended the site was professional and completed the work quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended!

We had a break in on our site and the roller shutter doors were badly damaged. This happened on a Saturday night / Sunday morning, I instructed Cooks on Monday morning, and by Monday evening they had sent an emergency repair team out to make the door and the warehouse secure. Team was very much focused on finding a solution there and then, and improvised in order to ensure we did not incur additional costs.

We ordered new coverings for the awnings outside the shop. Cooks were quick and efficient and I am delighted with their work.

I enquired about having some blinds installed within my UPVC doors.
I visited the showroom and the gentleman working in there were extremely helpful.
I opted for white concertina blinds which fitted within the glazing unit.
The installer was very polite and tidy in his work.
Would definitely return.

Garage door key fob coding - easy and swift

Removing 2 garage doors and installing 2 roller electric doors complete with trims. From Jamie to the installation team of Jose and Jack they were a credit to their company not only in a professional manner but also in a polite and respectful attitude to the customers(ourselves) that nothing was to much trouble and kept us informed throughout from quotation to completion. We shall be a returning client in the future.

Supplying and fitting 2 x external window shutters. The workmen the firm sent to do the job were polite and wanted to do a good job, however on their own admission they had little previous experience, and said they had no access to their supervisor, who was not there. They left the job incomplete and with significant faults, promising to return. A few days later one of the shutters failed completely. Following a phone discussion a date was arranged for for a site visit, however nobody showed up. When I rang them later that day I was told nobody knew anything about it - we found this was to be a recurring theme when dealing with this company...
I wrote two letters of complaint, neither of which received any response; on enquiring why I was told the firm had never received them - however, I later saw one attached to a repairers file. Eventually, but months later, the work was completed properly.
I found the firm to be completely blase, and uninterested in the problems they had caused, never once apologising at a management level, or even expressing regret for the situation they had placed us in.
We kept our part of the contract, paying in full and on time, and expected Cooks to fulfil their part, however they repeatedly failed to do this or to show any interest in offering customer satisfaction.
