Removing 2 garage doors and installing 2 roller electric doors complete with trims. From Jamie to the installation team of Jose and Jack they were a credit to their company not only in a professional manner but also in a polite and respectful attitude to the customers(ourselves) that nothing was to much trouble and kept us informed throughout from quotation to completion. We shall be a returning client in the future.

Supplying and fitting 2 x external window shutters. The workmen the firm sent to do the job were polite and wanted to do a good job, however on their own admission they had little previous experience, and said they had no access to their supervisor, who was not there. They left the job incomplete and with significant faults, promising to return. A few days later one of the shutters failed completely. Following a phone discussion a date was arranged for for a site visit, however nobody showed up. When I rang them later that day I was told nobody knew anything about it - we found this was to be a recurring theme when dealing with this company...
I wrote two letters of complaint, neither of which received any response; on enquiring why I was told the firm had never received them - however, I later saw one attached to a repairers file. Eventually, but months later, the work was completed properly.
I found the firm to be completely blase, and uninterested in the problems they had caused, never once apologising at a management level, or even expressing regret for the situation they had placed us in.
We kept our part of the contract, paying in full and on time, and expected Cooks to fulfil their part, however they repeatedly failed to do this or to show any interest in offering customer satisfaction.

Refurbish awning. I was extremely pleased with works carried out, it was done so in a professional manner quickly and efficiently. Wonderful guys and no hassle.

To repair a domestic garage door electric operator. The two men who came said they could not attempt the repairs as did not have the right equipment with them (as discussed). Quoted a very high price to replace with a new system. Took 2 weeks to reply to my letter of complaints after being contacted by the Norfolk Trading Standards. After further involvement with a trading standard office reduced their charge to £55.

We did have one, small, problem with one of the vertical blinds. When informed of this, a rip came when the hour to rectify the matter.

The supply and install electrically operated full cassette folding arm awning c/w heaters. This is the second installation of this type undertaken by Cooks Blinds & Shutters for us in the last 12 months. On both occasions they have done a good quality professional job. Keeping promises on timing and costs. Also the installers attention to detail has been exceptional.
