We found Matt and Nigel via this site based on their reviews. I’m pleased to say that they thoroughly deserve their 5 stars. They have fitted a new kitchen and bathroom for my daughter as well as numerous smaller jobs around her new ( but previously rather neglected) home and have gone above and beyond to get it right for her. They are honest, meticulous and very mindful of what their customer wants. They both have high standards of workmanship and we have no hesitation in recommending them.
We’ve asked them to do similar work for our elder daughter and am sure will find more stuff for them to do for us.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Matt and Nigel to fit our new kitchen, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We engaged Matt and Nigel for a complete revamp of our kitchen and utility which meant pretty much stripping down both areas and starting again with all that involved. They were with us for 31 man days between them.

We have used Matt and Nigel three times now. They have completed a kitchen renovation, main bedroom re-fit and en-suite shower room replacement. They are punctual and reliable and their workmanship is of the very highest standard. They are a pleasure to have in the house and are totally trustworthy. We are delighted with the results they produce and will use them again when the need arises. We cannot praise them any higher and would recommend them without hesitation.

Matt and Nigel have completed refitted my elderly Mum's bathroom and cloakroom. The work has been completed to an excellent standard and communication and advice has been excellent all the way through even though I was abroad when much of job was actually done. They even took care of Mum when she had a nasty fall on day 1 of the work (and kept an eye on her in subsequent days.) The price for the job seems very reasonable and a very detailed invoice was provided when the job was finished. Matt even provided helpful advice about the best time to order the fittings/furniture to get the best prices possible. I would have no hesitation in recommending this highly reputable company to anyone looking to have a bathroom refurb. Thank you so much. Matt and Nigel refurbished our bathroom from scratch and did a great job. Quality workmanship at a competitive price. Friendly, trustworthy and helpful. Very pleased with the outcome and would definitely ask them to do any future work for us.

This is the 5th (maybe 6th project?) that Nigel and Matt have done for me/us. Everything ranging to building new cupboards and plumbing to lowering ceilings, fitting a new kitchen and now 3 bathrooms! As ever the hard work ethic, attention to detail, reliability, speed with which they work, and commitment to getting the job done (with a lot of unknowns this time round with a new to us house) is exemplary. Not to mention that they are a joy to have about the place, especially if you provide nice coffee, and they leave everything so tidy at the end of each day. We are so pleased with everything Matt and Nigel have done. It was a great relief to hear they were happy to come in and get us started weeks after we moved in on a big renovation project with a couple of new bathrooms, I can’t imagine getting underway without some trusted pairs of hands to help us work out the quirks of this old house. Thankyou again, and we hope you’ll come back to us one day!

Bathroom and leak repairs.
Remove existing bathroom suite, take down tiled false wall. Install new levelled batten wall with moisture plaster board. Install both with shower pipe work/bath pipe work. Tile walls, install flooring, install bath panel, wc, basin unit/basin. Skirting around room plus various jobs. Matt impressed us with his professionalism when he came to give us a quotation for fitting a new bathroom.
Once we had accepted the quote, Matt and Nigel were able to start the job within a few weeks. They did an excellent job, tackling the work in a friendly, professional manner and asking us what we wanted when decisions were needed. All in all, we were very happy with the quality of the work.

More fabulous work done for us by Matt and Nigel … they are arrived in that awful heat wave in July to replace fencing and lay decking for the new shed . Terrible heat to work in but they did it We were thrilled with the finished look of the fencing , gate and the new front path done by Nigel. Lots of compliments on his work on the path .
No hesitation in recommending Matt and Nigel time and time again … They love their tea , coffee and lollies in the heat too … Oh not forgetting a bacon roll !

Machine IKEA flat pack units to smaller depth x 4, install 4 unit run with filler panels and worktop. Supply worktop, fillers, and knobs.
1.5 MD labour/materials Matt and Nigel returned to build our cupboards in our upstairs shower room that they had installed earlier this year. We were just so delighted with their workmanship. The cupboards have finished off our shower room a treat. We have them here now as I write replacing fences and gate in the heat wave not sure how they are coping!
They work very hard.

Bathroom.
Remove existing bathroom sink, under board ceiling, dryline two walls. Takedown block wall and re-build stud wall, replace floor boards with 18 mm sheet ply. Move radiator, wall hung basin, digital shower with ceiling rose riser/rain fall. Level wall tiles and vinyl flooring, skirtings and architraves, decorate walls and ceiling.
Labour 18.1 man-days/installation materials. Were very pleased with the work that AHS have completed for us. We now have a beautifully installed and decorated bathroom.
Matt and Nigel are both very professional and courteous and left their working area very tidy every day.
We will be using AHS again for future work and are happy to recommend them to others.

Bathroom installation.
Customer supplied bathroom, consisting of replacing water damaged walls, replace with again panel prior to tiling. Taking waster pipework under floor bands, moving radiator supplies, wall tiles. Over buried floors prior to laying flooring, Clean up and re use good of unity sanatory ware Labour 16.5 Mandays and materials completed. Matt and Nigel of AHS are our "go to" team for domestic plumbing and renovations of our property.
They have done between 6 and 10 jobs for us and recent years.
They are craftsmen, very tidy, very honest and fairly priced.
