Carl Wigg Auto Services is a local family owned and run business. We have an impeccable track record and over 30 years’ experience in the trade.
With an extensive amount of knowledge on all makes and models we are able to offer a diverse range of expertise. This includes anything from vehicle servicing and repairs to full diagnostic testing.
Using state of the art tools and computer systems we quickly and efficiently deal with any problem you may be experiencing with your vehicle.
Our ability to rapidly and safely diagnose any problem or potential threat to your vehicle is something we pride ourselves on. CarlWigg Autoservices has gone above and beyond hehlping me with my car i bought faulty from a dealership, From initial contact they have offered great advice on dealing with not only the fault with the car, but the dealer i bought the car from.
My fight with the original dealer continues now even 6 months after the purchase, my last visit to CarlWigg i booked in for diagnostics for further evidence to my claim of the same fault reocurring, not only did they not accept any payment for this they also wrote me a report stating the fault is the same as they saw 4 months ago to help strenghten my case.
I have always had trust issues with garages and mechanics, i have been lied to in the past, overcharged, and dealt with generally uninterested so called proffesionals. CarlWigg is everything a local business should be, and will have my custom for years to come.

Turbo charger, oil pipe feed, oil filter, air filter, air box assembly, boost pipe, engine oil, all done in July 2024 on husband's van.
Have also taken my car there for yearly service.
April is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and Carl and the team have always done a good job over the years and we have never had any problems. My son in-law recommended Carl Wigg Auto Services to us about 4 years ago and we have been going there ever since.

I always use Carl Wigg. April and the team are fantastic and always go above and beyond! I certainly never have to go back for the same issue so the work is carried out to high standard and I find I cant get any better prices for such good quality either. They build a rapport with customers and i trust them fully. Thank-you

I have had lots of repairs and services and they are always honest and reliable. They are very good at what they do and I always hear good things about them. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
As a business owner time is always precious and they have always completed every job very quickly and efficiently so I can get back to work.

Soon as I called customer service was the upmost priority and very quick to rectify the problem
My back break light was smashed so had to get it replaced it was completed the same day
My experience was not at all stressful and the price was very reasonable I’d definitely be using and recommending Carl again

Been going to this garage for years.
They do everything for my vehicles which includes tyres, mechanical work to cosmetic bits. These guys do everything !!
They’ve always been competitive in their prices. April who manages the office is fantastic and will always makes sure I get the best value for money.
Carl and Leon have all the latest diagnostics equipment. They are super knowledgeable and experienced . I would not take my motorhome or car anywhere else.
Working for the local authority, I have to drive for my role and they make sure my car is done promptly to reduce any disruptions.
Even once when I broke down in Scotland in the motorhome, they were happy to help from afar!
They go above and beyond for their clients , I actually found these guys as they once helped my elderly grandmother who was stranded in town as her corsa wouldn’t start they recovered the car, they fixed it and took her back home with her shopping, since then I have found a wonderful garage!

They replaced the drive shafts and put a new tyre (plus wheel alignment) on my Volvo V40. They worked hard to source the parts promptly and updated me regularly on progress. With the wheel alignment, I received a diagnostic report before and after the work was done. My car now drives like a dream. They were very friendly, helpful and worked quickly to get my car back on the road.
