Carl Wigg Auto Services is a local family owned and run business. We have an impeccable track record and over 30 years’ experience in the trade.
With an extensive amount of knowledge on all makes and models we are able to offer a diverse range of expertise. This includes anything from vehicle servicing and repairs to full diagnostic testing.
Using state of the art tools and computer systems we quickly and efficiently deal with any problem you may be experiencing with your vehicle.
Our ability to rapidly and safely diagnose any problem or potential threat to your vehicle is something we pride ourselves on. Been going to this garage for years.
They do everything for my vehicles which includes tyres, mechanical work to cosmetic bits. These guys do everything !!
They’ve always been competitive in their prices. April who manages the office is fantastic and will always makes sure I get the best value for money.
Carl and Leon have all the latest diagnostics equipment. They are super knowledgeable and experienced . I would not take my motorhome or car anywhere else.
Working for the local authority, I have to drive for my role and they make sure my car is done promptly to reduce any disruptions.
Even once when I broke down in Scotland in the motorhome, they were happy to help from afar!
They go above and beyond for their clients , I actually found these guys as they once helped my elderly grandmother who was stranded in town as her corsa wouldn’t start they recovered the car, they fixed it and took her back home with her shopping, since then I have found a wonderful garage!

They replaced the drive shafts and put a new tyre (plus wheel alignment) on my Volvo V40. They worked hard to source the parts promptly and updated me regularly on progress. With the wheel alignment, I received a diagnostic report before and after the work was done. My car now drives like a dream. They were very friendly, helpful and worked quickly to get my car back on the road.
