Carl Wigg Auto Services is a local family owned and run business. We have an impeccable track record and over 30 years’ experience in the trade.
With an extensive amount of knowledge on all makes and models we are able to offer a diverse range of expertise. This includes anything from vehicle servicing and repairs to full diagnostic testing.
Using state of the art tools and computer systems we quickly and efficiently deal with any problem you may be experiencing with your vehicle.

April and the team are awesome!
Have used this garage for many years now.
They keep you updated every step of the way and even offered me a car while repairs were being carried out. Highly recommend.

Clutch went on a Saturday afternoon, contacted April who went above and beyond to get the car recovered, diagnosed and replacement parts fitted.
Continously updated on price and time frame and got the car back within a few days.
Can't fault them for their help and professionalism.

I had a vehicle repair conduct by Carl that no other garage could seem to find the root cause of the issue.
From liaison, pricing, to carrying out the work the team behind this local business was tip top. I’ll be using Carl Wigg Autoservices for all my vehicles from now on.

My car was taken to Carl Wigg under warranty having just bought it from another garage and it had failed its MOT, they were the preferred repairer.
The staff were really friendly and clearly spent time giving my car a thorough inspection, they identified lots of issues that a previous AA inspection hadn’t found and things which were not included as advisories on previous MOT’s. I’m so impressed and grateful for what they did and they allowed me to truly understand my car so I could make a decision to keep it or not. I’d had no experience of this local garage until this point but I will definitely use them again given this positive experience. Thanks to all the team (especially April)

Ball joint and rubber gater also interim service . I have been using Carl’s garage for over 20 years , I have never had any issues or problems with the work done to my cars. He and Leon are very honest with their assessment of the problems and I would never take my car anywhere else.

We’ve had a number of ongoing issues with our car recently, and Carl Wigg Auto Services have been nothing short of fantastic throughout.
April on the front desk is absolutely brilliant — always helpful, kind, and incredibly accommodating, even when the garage is busy or we’ve needed help at short notice.
Carl himself is knowledgeable, informative, and always willing to explain things clearly. We trust his advice completely.
We also take our work business vans to the garage, and they’re always happy to help with those too. Their flexibility and willingness to fit us in, even when they’re stacked with bookings, is genuinely appreciated.
The whole team consistently go above and beyond, and their customer service is outstanding. We’ve recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

At our car centre, we benefit from Carl Wigg Autoservices looking after the majority of our sales preparation, servicing, MOT work and warranty repairs.
They’ve got genuine expert knowledge – years of it – and it shows: they understand precisely what needs doing to get our cars retail-ready, which helps us deliver the best service possible to our customers.
What really makes them stand out though is that they actually care about every job.

I have been using Carl Wigg for nearly 10 years, and I highly recommend them. Excellent customer service, going above & beyond to help where they can. I have my car serviced & MOT every year at a third of main dealer cost, but at the same level of service, quality & more convenient for me. Any work that needs doing is estimated & checked with me before being carried out. Friendly, professional & family run, and I'll continue to use Carl Wigg for all my motoring needs!

After being let down by 2 other garages one of which specialised in injectors and turned me away after having my car booked in for 8 weeks in advance the Carl Wigg team welcomed me in and fixed the problem in a very timely manner, giving me a full breakdown of exactly was wrong and took the time to tell me step by step and kept me updated throughout the whole process at a fraction of the cost other companies wanted.
When you get great service great value and TRUST then I don’t need to look elsewhere and nor should you! Very happy customer.

Highly recommend April and the team at Carl Wigg Auto, I have used this garage several times over the last few years and they have always gone above and beyond. The prices are very reasonable and they will only replace the parts that are actually needed in my opinion this is the best garage in the Lowestoft area I wouldn’t take my cars anywhere else

I’m always sceptical about taking my car to garages, as a woman we are more than likely to get ripped off…
Took my car here for the first time and the people who own and run this establishment are so kind and amazing, showed me videos and pictures of the work they was doing on my car at the time, prices are honest and sincere.

I had the most wonderful experience with Carl Wigg Autoservices, I purchased a car for a high price, travelled home to wake the following morning to a floor full of oil from my new car! Called around monday morning and was recommended Carl Wigg by a family member who use Carl Wigg autoservices, so I called, and they managed to fit me in that afternoon even though they were already really busy! The ladies in the reception and the mechanics were absolutely amazing! So friendly, Supportive, informative, very honest with what needed doing, just all round amazing! They were very quick and efficient with getting all the parts etc and the work carried out on my vehicle! Spoke me through what i needed from the company i bought my car from, they even ended up speaking to the car company on my behalf and had the necessary work paid for by the car company due to me buying the car not even 24 hours prior to finding the major oil leak, I could not thank all of them enough for everything they did for me! I will forever use Carl Wigg autoservices and would always recommend everyone else to do the same!
