Carl Wigg Auto Services is a local family owned and run business. We have an impeccable track record and over 30 years’ experience in the trade.
With an extensive amount of knowledge on all makes and models we are able to offer a diverse range of expertise. This includes anything from vehicle servicing and repairs to full diagnostic testing.
Using state of the art tools and computer systems we quickly and efficiently deal with any problem you may be experiencing with your vehicle.
Our ability to rapidly and safely diagnose any problem or potential threat to your vehicle is something we pride ourselves on. This method and approach to our work has a proven track record and leaves our customers with sound advice, peace of mind and more importantly, a great price for the work required.

Highly recommend April and the team at Carl Wigg Auto, I have used this garage several times over the last few years and they have always gone above and beyond. The prices are very reasonable and they will only replace the parts that are actually needed in my opinion this is the best garage in the Lowestoft area I wouldn’t take my cars anywhere else

Good honest people!
I’m always sceptical about taking my car to garages, as a woman we are more than likely to get ripped off…
Took my car here for the first time and the people who own and run this establishment are so kind and amazing, showed me videos and pictures of the work they was doing on my car at the time, prices are honest and sincere.

I had the most wonderful experience with Carl Wigg Autoservices, I purchased a car for a high price, travelled home to wake the following morning to a floor full of oil from my new car! Called around monday morning and was recommended Carl Wigg by a family member who use Carl Wigg autoservices, so I called, and they managed to fit me in that afternoon even though they were already really busy! The ladies in the reception and the mechanics were absolutely amazing! So friendly, Supportive, informative, very honest with what needed doing, just all round amazing! They were very quick and efficient with getting all the parts etc and the work carried out on my vehicle! Spoke me through what i needed from the company i bought my car from, they even ended up speaking to the car company on my behalf and had the necessary work paid for by the car company due to me buying the car not even 24 hours prior to finding the major oil leak, I could not thank all of them enough for everything they did for me! I will forever use Carl Wigg autoservices and would always recommend everyone else to do the same!

Carl recently fitted a new turbo to my van amongst other things . They are always professional and very knowledgeable, The standard of work is excellent, All the team April,Carl,Leon and Brad are very knowledgeable and friendly, they also price fairly and won’t rip you off. I would recommend Wigg’s to anyone.

I took my car to Wigg’s auto service they were very helpful had a look at my car came back with a price straight away . There kind and friendly people go the extra mile to help you . Amazing family run business . Wouldn’t go anywhere else .

Carl Wigg garage for me has always been honest with my repairs and given me confidence that the advice given was correct. I had a MOT and my Citroen DS3 failed for emissions, from the start the garage gave me options and worked with me on prices and solutions. Got the job done and passed in the end and got me back on the road. Cannot thank them enough. Highly recommend!!!

Bought a car April 2025, a month later sprung a major fuel leak. Contacted warranty and booked in with CarlWigg,
Fast and friendly service, dealt with the warranty company for me all I had to do was pick up the car and paperwork once repaired.
January 2024 I bought a used car and within 6 weeks discovered coolant loss with misfire. CarlWigg investigated, diagnosed and provided reports, as well as advice with how to deal with the business I bought from. Unfortunately didn't get far with the dealer but CarlWigg and team were helpful and honest, could have easily made more work from the car but kept my expenses minimal.
I trust this business, and the people 100% to give honest advice and diagnostics, a rarity with many mechanics/garages trying to up sell, these guys don't need to they are kept busy enough with their strong local reputation for honest and fair work.
My car is booked in for its service next week with them.

Both Carl and April went above and beyond to diagnose and rectify our Range Rover automatic gearbox issue, where other garages had failed. The extra time and effort they put in researching a solution for us ended up saving us a substantial amount to what we had originally thought. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and a more than fairly priced service. Would highly recommend. Also a shout out to Brad’s Recovery who was brilliant all round in swiftly recovering our vehicle from Norwich to Lowestoft. Many thanks again to all involved.

Carl Wigg took my car in at very short notice and carried out the work of replacing the front brake discs and pads. Also spotted one lock nut was missing which they replaced. Completed work very quickly - excellent service.
