Excellent Product, delivered in time. Works really well.

We had an electric roller door fitted to the garage and due to a mistake made by the builder (uneven floor), the door refused to close, continually reopening due to the sensor picking up the uneven floor as an obstruction.

Two engineers came out and identified the issue and suggested upgrading the sensor to a different model. Although this was at an additional cost, it was much easier and cheaper than recalling the builder to dig up the concrete floor.

The sensor was ordered and fitted promptly. The engineers were first rate, polite and left no mess. The new sensor works faultlessly and overall we are delighted with the door.

Overall the DIY install door is good value for money and once installed works well.
The install instructions miss some vital parts however which if not done can damage the door. luckily i caught this early on and remedied the issues.
If purchasing a DIY door i would definitely recommend reading the instructions AND watching the video along with other companies install videos which may include helpful tips.
Most importantly, once installed, the inside top corner of the door guides need bent away from the door to avoid scraping on the roller door on opening and shutting. ours started to scrape so we looked at another door we had installed and this had been done. well worth adding this step to the instructions.

Once you've done 1 and know what you're doing it is super easy. The door I purchased was 4.6m wide and managed to install it with 2 people only requiring 4 when installing the actual roller door just for ease of lifting.

Other than improvement of the instructions the only other improvement i would suggest would be providing exterior plastics to tidy the job up. that being said, the price is very competitive and if you want a door at such a good price obviously all the extras can't be included.

I must say the young man I spoke to (JACK) was an absolute pleasure, he was very informative and helped me massively with any questions I had putting my mind at ease. The door, which was a perfect fit took just over 3 hours to fit from start to finish. An amazing product that was a doddle to fit. Now having fitted one door if I fit another which I am sure I will as I have recommended the company to many people.i would say excluding the electrical supply for the door it would take no more than two hours max.

Supplied roller door for DIY fitting, installation instructions could be ordered better, but the product is good and priced in line with expectations. This is the second door I’ve bought (one at my last home and one at this home), so I’d recommend them.

Electric garage door broke down and they provided an over the phone diagnosis of faulty motor and we agreed a date for the repair. Two staff attended as it’s a double door and discovered the motor was in fact ok but the fault was actually in the control panel. They had a spare on the van, fitted it and tested and the bonus was final bill was less than expected. Will definitely use this company again.

Rollerdor Ltd manufacture really good electric roller doors which are easy to fit, attractive and excellent value for money. I had a small electrical problem which they were able solve, by phone, for me. The only thing that wasn''t top notch was that there was some minor damage to the curtain, which they offered to replace. I turned down the offer to replace some of the slats because I didn''t want to take the curtain out and the damage was minor. Delivery was also a good experience , no delays or excuses about covid just delivered on time. Good experience from start to finish.

Tradedor Roller Garage Door RD77 Superior Overall a very good experience from start to finish.

I had researched across the www and did not find a reasonable quote or response in the area that we reside (South of Manchester). So it was strange that we went with a company based in Norwich where we had moved from about 3 years earlier. Given that it was lockdown when we initially made contact had to wait approx 3-4 weeks before an engineer arrived to assess the viability to install a roller door. He provided a professional service and given the quality of what was being offered I went for the superior product instead of the lower basic roller door I had intended to order.

The fitters turned up as per date agreed and did a thoroughly professional job in removing the old up and over metal door and frame which they took away with them. Installation took around 2 hours. On completion the fitter gave me a full brief and demonstration of the installed door and how to use it etc.

So overall I was very impressed with this company, the product and team who spoke to me on the phone and who visited me to scope and then fit the door. Thanks

Supply and installation of an electric roller door Despite the survey being done before the COVID lockdown, they kept me relatively informed as best they could throughout the lockdown.

Once lockdown was eased a suitable installation date was agreed.

The final door installation was carried out very professionally and the colour match to the surrounding structure could not have been better.

Supply only of electric single garage door The electric garage doors were delivered several years ago and they still work as well as the day that I fitted them. I''m still very pleased with this garage door.

One part had come loose on the side of the door and the door jammed. This then caused a couple of parts that hold the door to the roller to break.

I asked them to come and repair the door. It went downhill quickly from there. Garage door had jammed and some parts broken as a result. The engineer visited and removed lots of parts that were originally fitted (presumably so that they would not break again). He also disconnected the safety features and said that this was now obsolete.

When re-assembling the door he struggled on his own and made a real botched job of screwing the cover back on.

The end result is that I now have a door with no safety features fitted, lots of parts that should be there now removed and a cover that doesn''t fit at all well. All of this cost me £296.95

I would never buy a door from these people again and certainly will not use them for any further service work.

Purchased the additional internal switch which was un-necessary as the receiver box has door controls anyway. This is not clear when you order.

supply only 12'' roller door in white Purchased the door for self installation.All parts were present and in good working order.The only thing that I could complain about were the fitting instructions that were available to download.The sequence certainly was not as it should be and they should really look at these again.They did make the job harder than needed to be which also caused me to damage a couple of parts.Fortunatley the next door I fitted I was able too overcome the shortcomings of the installation advise.

DIY
I chose to install my shutters as all the installer/contractors, I approached maintained that it was impossible to do what I wanted. Meaning that 3 No. of the shutters were to be fixed in line next to each other.

All was OK

The installation is complete and running, and what a good product it is! It is almost silent running good-looking and of high quality products and of exceptional good value.
Observations on Rollerdor
1.It has taken almost a day to persuade the estimators that I needed longer Guides, longer than the opening size of the shutter!
2.As I have given undue attention to the structural stability of the middle guides, I forgot many other items which would have made the installation easier and quicker, i.e. some brake and motor cables should have been at list 5M long. The holes for the hand winder should have been cut-outs on the ground. I should have studied the ‘Installation Manual’ very carefully and should have realized that my instillation was not as described, Rollerdor were aware of this.
3.Technical man, Jack resolved all the minor problems and all finished very well.

I ordered a self fitting roller door Excellent service all the way through from start till I received my kit the work force were extremely helpful and soon received my kit the instructions were easily followed and from start to finish it took me about 4 hours would recommend them wholeheartedly

New garage roller door fitted and old one removed and taken away We had used Rollerdor at our previous address in Beccles Suffolk and were totally satisfied with evrything. We moved house to Essex and needed a new garage door so had no hesitation in using Rollerdor again.

Supply only of 50Nm roller door motor. My only contact with the company was for the purchase of a replacement roller door motor. The company representative to whom I spoke - regret that I do not remember his name - was polite, attentive and knowledgeable as regards the product about which I was enquiring.

He confirmed that the item sought would be suitable, the offer price was very competitive and the purchase was completed using a credit card.

The motor arrived by courier the next day, had been well-packed was received undamaged and I was able to install it quite easily following detailed instructions and using the included accessory items. Thankfully, the door now works perfectly in both directions and I am extremely satisfied with the product and outcome.

Initially very happy with the service. Someone on the online chat helping to make sure I had everything needed and I was ordering the correct items.
The installation went really well. Nice and easy to install.
Had a few issues with the door and the company not interested at all to help. Hinges broke after 4 weeks and was told I could purchase some more if needed.

I ordered a DIY install roller door. I ordered a DIY install roller door. Their website had all the info I needed to take the measurements they needed. The order process and manufacture went without hitch and I collected it myself. I found it easy to install, as a competent DIYer, using/following their instructions on line. I was so pleased I recommended them to my neighbour who also now has one of their doors.

The only problem I had was that they omitted the handle that would be needed to manually operate the door. I didn’t know I should have had one until my neighbour arrived home with his door and the handle was there! Rollerdor didn’t quibble when I called to chat with them about this but did only send me half the handle! So had to send the other half later when prompted.

I had a new roller garage door fitted by ROLLERDOOR, the guys were polite and did a fantastic job they cleaned up after they finished and took away all the rubbish the price including fitting was within the budget and overall i would recommend them.

i saw there product on e-bay and phoned them for a quote for my size door they sent someone to measure up and quote he gave me a date for fitting which they stuck to and turned up as expected the team were polite and explained that the whole thing before starting and asked if this is what was expecting, i was kept informed from start to finish

Website very clear/easy to follow with lots of guidance so any concerns about ordering a made to measure door (which would be no use to anyone else) were immediately allayed.
We chose the DIY option so the company did not fit the door.Hence we cannot comment re much of the 'good practice' as we felt this related to fitting.
Full instructions/guidance for fitting was supplied and was easy to follow.
When ordering we were made aware they may be a delay/manufacture could take a little longer than usual due to Covid - we ordered at the end of June just as restrictions were being lifted. However it was not clear how long 'a little longer' would be.
In the end it was four weeks from order to delivery which we consider totally acceptable in normal circumstances given we had ordered a made to measure product.
We are extremely please with our garage door and would highly recommend this company. Compared to other companies the cost of the door was very competitive and good value for money.

Was very sceptical about being able to install the door myself and without any assistance but I needn’t have worried it was straightforward after a little pause for thought and I encourage anyone to check out the available videos on YouTube.
I was amazed at how simple and effective the method of mounting the roller was.

I had purchased the basic hold to run model and expected that’s what I would have to do to operate the door but once fitted and adjusted a quick experiment with the electrical settings buttons within the control box and it was working up and down with a single button press and release as well as auto stopping.
I do not have the available auto stop extra equipment that stops the roller automatically if it hits an object that prevents closure but as it’s just myself and wife and the garage is not used for a car it’s no problem. If you have kids or tend to have loose stuff that can fall in the path of the door then that accessory would be worth investing in.

Overall the door looks smart, operates smoothly and fits nicely. An added bonus is the slats do contain insulating material and so are going to be better than a flat steel panel door.

Manufactured and delivered a made to measure electric roller garage door. Due to poor building in the 1950s our garage was a difficult installation. I wasn''t sure it was even possible to fit an electric roller door, but Matthew gave me excellent advice by email and phone and told me what I needed to do to allow a good DIY installation.

Once I had prepared the walls, I measured up using their useful guide and placed my order without any problems. I was given an estimated delivery date, and later this was confirmed. The delivery driver had a long way to come, but was with us well ahead of schedule at about 8am. This meant I had the whole day to remove the old door and install the new one.

The instructions were good, and with a couple of family members, the installation was straightforward and completed before dinner. I have never fitted an electric door before, although I do have quite a lot of DIY experience at home and with cars.

I am impressed with the door having now used it for a few months, and I think it was extremely good value.

Over 18 months later we had a problem with the door and they again came out very quickly and sorted it even though it was out of warrenty and only charged us a very reduced ammount as goodwill. However, the team member doing the work was extremely patronising, scolding me for the door having not been installed correctly by my builder. He was very persistent in his criticisms, far more than necessary and at one point I nearly had to ask him to leave. Good quality of work but thoroughly unpleasant, misogynistic, condescending manner.

Despite this I would use Rollerdoor again as I am happy with the product

Supplied DIY kit Quite expensive for what it is, manufacturing took ages kept moving estimated delivery date. Had to wait over a month for a DIY set, issue with supply of colour I order for the garage door which delay thing further. Not at all flexible in moving delivery dates. Some staff friendly and helpful other not so, depends who you get through to.

Chased up a few time about the wait, but they didn’t really seem that bothered or offer any price reduction for the waiting.

My installer had to move the auto stop /alarm unit as it was too far away from where you must install the magnetic sensor for the alarm to actually work.

Would probably not use them again.

late 2019 I purchased a double garage roller door for self fit.
I found the door competitively priced, build quality was excellent. The accompanying installation and user manuals are comprehensive, a useful step by step guide.
If you fancy a challenge, you can install the door completely in one day on your own (Christmas day). My advice, install the wiring the day before, oh and have a late lunch.
The door has been in constant use for over 12 months, performing faultlessly.
The door required a minor repair following the recent excessive high winds, a replacement curtain hanger. The part was sourced from rollerdor again reasonably priced. The sales team were both knowledgeable and efficient,I received the part within 48hr.
I would recommend Rollerdor in the future.

Manufacture and supply an RD 55 DIY roller shutter door. I approached Rollerdor via the website which was clear and easy to use.

That said, I contacted via phone to double check requirements for sizeing and fitting requirements. The staff were extremely helpful and clear which resulted in my order.

Further emails were received to confirm the order specification and provide a delivery date which was extremely quick the door being received in 5 days.

I carried out fitting using the clear instructions which were clear and straightforward. Installation was simple and problem free. At total of 5 hours saw me with a new garage door.

The quality of the product is first class. The door slats and running gear are sturdy and project quality rather than some products which appear flimsy and the price point is second to none.

I did some research on roller doors and chose to buy from Rollerdor.

I ordered my door as supply only as I was to fit it myself. The ordering online was very straight forward. Then Covid-19 struck and we were in lockdown. I was contacted by Rollerdor and informed that there would be a delay due to Covid-19. I was pleasantly surprised when Rollerdor contacted me to say that they could deliver the door early. I was given a date and time for delivery, and despite them being over 400 miles away, they arrived within 2 minutes of the time stated on the email. The Rollerdor crew unloaded the door into my garage and gave a brief instruction about the door and the fitting of the door along with information on where to find further detailed instruction through YouTube videos.

Having watched the video a couple of times, I then fitted the door with no problems. The fitting only took about an hour and was simple, as long as you followed the instructions “exactly”. The wiring took another half an hour and the setting of the door up and door down limits only took 5 minutes and again was simple.
The door itself works as expected and is of comparable quality to my neighbours door which I know cost them 3 times more than I paid.

I can’t fault the Rollerdor company from ordering the door, confirmation of measurements, payment and delivery. Their video instructions are really good, although it would have been nice to have a voice narrating along with the text.

I would recommend Rollerdor to anyone thinking about a new garage door, first class service throughout.

Having had a garage roller shutter door installed 18 months ago with no issues. The installation was trouble free & have been very pleased with the product.

Due to my stupidity I had left a bin under the opened roller door, with the remote fob in my pocket I accidentally pressed close switch, this caused the curtain to come down on to the bin, with the motor still running. The 3 straps securing the curtain to the roller drum were broken. Had I ordered the roller door with sensors this would not have happened.

I made a call to their office, Matt took my call & was very helpful in advising how to resolve the problem I had created. The spare parts arrived the following day to enable repair to be done.

First class service & was much appreciated.
