Attachment of utility room taps and installation of outside tap Communication with Marvin was good, prices given per hour before agreement. Marvin gave a reasonable time to start the work, he was on time, giving me a call when he was on his way. Work was completed in a tidy, clean professional way and pipework was very neat and tidy.
Good job all round and would recommend. Paperwork followed very promptly. Very happy. Thank you.

New boiler fitted new kitchen tap fitted new radiator fitted. Marvin was prompt, efficient and very professional. I could not have chosen a better tradesman. I am very pleased with the work he did.

Replacement of a thermostatic valve on a radiator in a difficult position. I contacted Marvin because the radiator valve wasn’t working. As when I used before, he tried to book the job in ASAP at a time convenient for me. The job was complicated by the position of a ledge above the radiator but he checked with me that I was happy with how he was going to work round this and he completed the job successfully with just one visit. Marvin explained everything really clearly and his approach (as I have found it before,) was friendly and professional.

Relocate radiator, cut back old gas pipes, fit new waste water outlet and inlet water piping to new sink Marvin is brilliant, I didn''t have any clue on how the jobs could be done but he worked out the best way of doing it within my budget and did not pressure me into carrying out the work. I was kept up to date at all stages and was happy to leave Marvin in my home while I was at work. I am quite particular about things being neatly done and was so happy to find all the holes cut for piping to go through was so neat and minimal. Marvin did such a good job that he will be coming back to carry out some more work in the next few weeks.

Investigate and repair leak on waste pipe from washing machine Marvin was very friendly and professional. He was able to come round within the week at a time that was flexible to my working hours. He found a way to fix what appeared to me quite a complicated job. The work was carried out over two hours with little disruption to the work I was doing at home at the time.
I would definitely use Marvin again.

Replacement thermostatic ta Called Marvin to come out and look at a leaky tap. Came the very same day. Very professional and informative. Excellent speed of service. New tap sourced the same day and work completed in very good time. Best plumber I have used. Would definitely use again. Thank you so much Marvin!

Marvin checked the showers in my house and advised one would need replacing due to its age and fault. One shower he could not find the isolation switch and advised me to get an electrician in first.
Marvin replaced the faulty shower, arriving on time and did a job clearing up mess etc. The second shower was fine; the isolation switch found by the electrician had been switched off by mistake. I would thoroughly recommend Marvin and would not hesitate to contact him again. He was reliable and did not undertake any unnecessary work- his charges were reasonable.

Replacing an existing shower pump. Additional check on shower temperature. Marvan was very courteous, clean and considerate. He was thorough in getting and testing the pump and shower. He also did a thorough check on the shower temperature. He cleaned and adjusted the mixer value and improved the operations temperature range significantly compared with the last 5 years plus it now operates at least +7c. Very pleased

Remove bath and replace with full length shower cubicle. Excellent. Job completed with minimum of disruption and in the agreed timescale. We were fully informed about all aspects of the work being carried out. I cannot recommend Marvin highly enough - we are extremely delighted with the results and the price.

Issued Gas Safety Building Regs Certificate Marvin is Gas Safe qualified. He replaced an old boiler, made modifications to the outdated system, provided me with a landlords Gas Safety certificate and delivered an outstanding job with no fuss and on time.
I would recommend Marvin Nichols to anyone as I was thrilled with his knowledge, workmanship and the professional way in which he operated.
