I needed a cat flap installed, but I wanted it placed in a full length double glazed door. Matt was super helpful, clear on timelines, cost, and explaining what was involved. Really efficient, thorough and would definitely recommend Matt.

When Matt came to quote he explained in detail my options and not just the most expensive ones and decided to have secondary glazing and a new front door in two stages. I was kept informed throughout the process and agreed dates and times were met. During the installations he was professional and ensured the areas were kept clean and tidied up afterwards. The finished result is perfection to look at and also the road noise has been eliminated and the house feels much warmer. I would definitely recommend him.

We have now used Matt from GR8 Glass for windows, door and double glazing for 12 years, we always go back to him. This work is faultless and he listens carefully suggesting better solutions and options. He always cleans up on site after any work. He is pleasant to have around and respectful of us and our home.

I have used this company before. Today was a replacement unit where a stone from the lawnmower unfortunately went through a pane of glass. Matt was very quick to respond and measure up . He fitted the glass within the week at a very competitive price.

We had Matt come and quote us to replace all of our aging UPVC windows and doors (came highly recommended), was so impressed with his professionalism and advice I didn’t bother with any other quotes, once ordered and an installation date given Matt and Shaun turned up when he said they were coming and got on with the job, worked in with my wife who works from home and left no mess at all, quite an achievement considering the inclement weather that particular week, first class workmanship, genuine and very professional, replacement windows and doors have transformed our property, very pleased with the product supplied and with Gr8Glass, wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend

We had a double glazed kitchen window fitted. Matt came on the date and time promised. He did an excellent job in double quick time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

After being let down several times I spoke with Matt and he was 100% professional nothing was too much trouble.New door for my garage and the exact colour I required was sourced.Wouldn’t hesitate using him again.All work was of high quality and left clean and tidy.

Never had much luck with trades in the past but I'm glad to say after meeting Matt @ Gr8 Glass my faith has been restored. We had a problem with the locking mechanism on our back door, when Matt turned he had a look and informed me that he'd never seen one like that and not sure it could be fixed. He could have sold me a new door at this point which would have cost us in the region of £1k, but he didn't, he went away, done some research, and found a supplier who could supply him with the parts which was a lot less than replacing the door! He's done some other work for us on the back of this and it's all been A1, he's always turns up when he says he's going to and his work is of a very high standard. I would have no issues recommending him to anyone.

Always Trustworthy and efficient

We have used Gr8glass (Matt Porter) on several occasions previously and have left positive reviews for previous work completed, so we have a balanced approach to reviews. However, we are saddened to say that we had a new conservatory fitted in April 2022 by Matt Porter. This was to replace an old conservatory which had been leaking. Prior to ordering the conservatory, we were reassured by Matt Porter that the new conservatory would not leak. Unfortunately this did not prove to be the case. We had our first leak two days after fitting and have now had a total of six leaks with this conservatory. It is still leaking badly on the date of writing this review. Matt Porter has become unprofessional as he has become frustrated by his inability to rectify the constant leaks, despite being given multiple opportunities to fix them. It has got to the point that we no longer want him back in our home. He has tried to blame multiple parts of our property for the leaks to try and negate responsibility. So much so that after advice from Norfolk Trading Standards we paid for an independent chartered surveyor to inspect and report on the conservatory. The result of this survey identified no problems with our property and found faults with the conservatory and the fitting of it. We have had to progress a complaint via the Norfolk Trusted Trader Manager regarding this company. To date, the conservatory is still leaking 16 months after fitting. As this review process asked, we would not recommend this company to anyone else and definitely will not be using them again for any work at our property.

I would not consider anyone else than Matt to do work on doors and windows than my house. I have used his services in five separate occasions now. The standard of his work is exceptional, his attention to detail is second to none and he literally cannot do enough for you.

Use him with absolute confidence. In my experience, there is no one better in Norfolk to do this sort of work.

Matt has replaced the windows and doors for me over a few years, always happy and completely understanding about my phased approach because of finance. He always turned up when he said he would, no hard pressure sales and most importantly did a fantastic job. The window frames were not easy to replace due to previous workmanship and Matt always left everything tidy and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending him and would happily employ Matt again in the future.

Replacement of all windows, doors, installation of two sets of bi-fold doors, soffits, guttering and fascia. Since moving in three years ago we’ve been doing our house up, both inside and out. Over that time we’ve replaced all our windows, doors, guttering, soffits and fascia over various (money dependent) stages of work. Matt has been our ‘go to’ man for all of that work.

I can’t stress this enough. He is brilliant. The quality of his work is fabulous, his attention to detail and passion for getting things absolutely spot on is a joy. He cares. And, to top it off he’s a lovely bloke who we’re going to really miss not having around.

If we need anything else done in the future (and we’ve already got sights on our garage) we’ll be calling Matt straight away.

To supply and fit one composite door. I was very pleased with the work Matt did in supplying and fitting a new door. The work was carried out neatly and to a high standard.
