My name is James and i'm the owner at Eastern Roofing And Solar LTD.
We are a small, personable company who care about the quality of work and customer satisfaction above all else.
We have over 35 years combined experience in roofing.
We carry out all roofing work, from small repairs to large scale re-roofing projects and heritage work. Slate roofing is a particular specialty having worked for a top end slate roofing company in Australia and even on the Christchurch cathedral in New Zealand. Closer to home we have re-roofed several churches and even worked on the Norwich castle keep roof in the early 2000's
I love what I do and am continually learning and improving, even after nearly 25 years!
As such I have in recent years mastered the art of lead welding and associated leadworking, beyond the scope of 'normal' roofing leadwork.

Loft sparked with woodwork treatment. Felt, battens & tiles replaced on whole roof. UPVC soffit boards renewed. We are delighted with our new roof. It is just what we ordered. Jim & his team are all hard working, in all weathers, efficient & tidy. Jim explained what he did each day and willingly answered any questions we had to do with the work.

To take out and rebed, the ‘Verge’ on edge of roof. Arranged visit on the phone prior & date & time arranged & advanced. Arrived arranged with all required tools etc. Quick & tidy job. But was most impressed with courteous & pleasant manner and Bill was as quoted.
