Rebuilding 1920s wooden porch I found DJ Building and Carpentry through the Trusted Traders site and am delighted with the outcome of tge work done. Dan did a wonderful job of replacing a 1920''s porch in the right style, was reliable and kept me well informed throughout.

Insulated cold dormer, bedroom with insulation boards and re-plastered walls. A pleasure to have in the house. No trouble what so ever.

Fit new guttering to house.
The work was thorough, very neat and efficient. The arrangements were made thoughtfully and every aspect of personal connection showed exceptional consideration and friendliness. Highly recommended.

Installation of stud wall and door to form cupboard around water cylinder in bathroom. Dan was prompt, efficient, polite and very tidy. His workmanship was excellent and the work, costing and choices I had were clearly explained. Would not hesitate to recommend to others or to use again which I hope to in future.

Laid new laminate flooring. Good attention to details, nice tidy job. More than happy with the workmanship. Highly recommended.

Conversion of redundant boiler housing into storage cupboard.
Excellent time-keeping, working standard and tidiness. Cleaned up all mess and took away all rubbish.

Installed bathroom cabinet. Very polite, did good work. Would use him again.

Boxing in of pipework. We were extremely pleased with the quality of work. The service was prompt and there was every attention to detail. We would definitely use Daniel again. It was a pleasure to have him working in the house & we are thrilled with the results.

New fence, gate and wooden slats to front door step. I have used D J Building & Carpentry twice now. Daniel was polite, prompt & worked exactly to his estimated price & timescale. An honest & reliable service & he cleared up after wards!

Built new external boiler cupboard. David worked with us to build a boiler cupboard to our exact requirements and within budget. He is a careful, considerate and conscientious worker, a pleasure to have around. We are very pleased with the finished product.

Finished work in new extension which previous builders left bespoke, shelves decoration generally bringing tired house up to date. Dan is the perfect builder that I have been looking for years for. He is a perfectionist, cleans up after himself, is always friendly and helpful. If he is ever delayed then he will always phone to explain. I will definitely be using Dan again next year and would be happy to recommend him to anyone.

Fitted wardrobe with custom doors. Dan designed and created a bespoke wardrobe for us. We are delighted with the results. Craftsmanship and good value. Well done and many thanks.
