I have used this company 5 or 6 times in the last two years for work in my home and for rental properties. They are consistently good.

Twice we have had flats inspected by Castle Electrical Services Ltd for safety. We have twice needed to have flats inspected for the state of the electrics prior to purchase. The first one was found wanting, everything was explained clearly in the report which was sent to us, with supporting photographs. The estimated cost of making the flat safe was explained, but we were not planning to completely rewire a place after buying, so we did not proceed with that purchase.
The second flat was found satisfactory, again a comprehensive report was supplied, which is what we will need as landlords to rent it out.
On both occasions the appointment for the inspection was arranged swiftly so we did not have to wait for results. The company dealt with the estate agents on both occasions.

Contacted Castle Electrical Services via email upon discovering connection cable from inset cooker oven to wall socket was dangerously short in length and asked for quote to replace with longer length connection cable. Received a quick and courteous reply. Amount quoted was competitive so arranged for them to do the job. Contractor, Eddi, turned up bang on the agreed date/time and was very polite and courteous. Despite the existing wiring setup in the wall, Eddi successfully managed to strip out the existing wiring and replaced it with a suitably longer section of cable, reconnected and tested the cooker, fuse box, gas and electricity boxes and left the site clean and tidy.
