I had fractured my spine in 3 places and my husband was recovering from an accident where he sustained a blood clot on his brain and had just come out of an 8 week stay in hospital so he was very frail. I was in such excruciating pain from struggling to keep on top of everyday chores and trying to care for him, that it left me in tears most days.
The beautifully designed checklists and glowing marketing information on Willowtree Homecare’s website and social media accounts is very impressive regarding staff qualifications, the company’s experience and knowledge plus promises of tailoring services to meet specific needs and preferences of each client.
So after reading all this information and Christina's initial visit to discuss our requirements, we arranged for someone to come 9 hours per week over 2 days. We were told we were going to be sent ‘one of her best workers’ which all helped to hook us into believing we were in safe hands. We were so eternally grateful when we thought we had finally found the answer to our prayers, in which was a very difficult and stressful time for us.
However, in reality the staff members carrying out the work are not the ones who hold the vast array of qualifications listed on the website and the standards of work we received were not very high. Everything that I had discussed was not communicated adequately to the staff member who actually came to do the work so nothing that was promised materialised.
Over the course of several months she was never on time, sometimes being up to 15 minutes late, with no explanation or apology, time which was not made up and we were charged for and she spent a lot of time on her phone checking her messages. The beautifully designed checklists and charts never materialised in the real world and our list of requirements were not passed on to the worker so many of the jobs I needed help with the most, such as bending and lifting things were ignored. For example; some dirty washing that I had thrown downstairs to be collected for washing was left on the carpet in the hallway, she walked over this with her outdoor shoes on, several times, and vacuumed around instead of picking it up and placing near the washing machine. I was unaware of this as I was lying down due to severe pain and only found out after she had gone, otherwise I would have asked for it to be moved.
My invoice had an incorrect address on and was addressed to someone else and even though I sent in correct details, several times, they were not changed so communication is very poor.
I am sorry but I really can't recommend this company. The marketing Bumpf, on their website, is very well written and very appealing for those people who are struggling, but what looks good on paper did not actually work in reality and we found this was really a case of over promising and under delivering for vastly over inflated prices.

Willow Tree provided a cleaning service for my Mum once a week, Linda as a lovely helpful cleaning who makes my mum feel at ease when she is their and does a brillant job. WE would not be without her.

Provide weekly cleaning services always reliable, efficient and friendly.
