Sitting with me when my partner needs to go out. This is very satisfactory service. I am able to leave the house and know my partner is in safe hands. He also enjoys the companionship.

Cooking, housework and shopping. My husband has had a serious stroke and as I am his 24 hours carer. I could not cope without the help of this excellent service. The staff are very caring, helpful and considerate and I would most certainly recommend the company to others needing a similar service.

I have a cleaner called Juliet who comes to my house every two weeks. During the two hours that she comes, Julie cleans the kitchen and bathroom floors and vacuums throughout she also generally dusts all over. The service provided by Helpinhand is very good and reliable. Juliet is an excellent cleaner and very personable.

They were excellent. Mum enjoyed their company and looked forward to their visits. I was always kept informed and the support workers knew my mum very well and cared for her. The company lets you know as soon as possible if their are any concerns.

The service provided is excellent, the staff are always preferred to listen on the phone, they always ring it there are problems. The carers are brilliant. I cannot say enough good things about the service, everyone is marvellous.

Support in Hand provides many different levels of practical assistance for 5/6 of our more vulnerable residents or the sheltered scheme. I find the staff conscientious and considerate and have a very good working relationship with them.

The Service provided for me is a fortnightly cleaning of my house, doing whatever need’s doing. The service I have received to date has been excellent.

I selected Support in Hand as they offer caring services in addition to cleaning. They clean my mothers house and also provide company for her. She is elderly with Alzheimer’s and a widow. Support In Hand are marvellous as they cope with all the ‘quirks’ of someone with Alzheimer’s and are very caring and understanding.

Support in hand carry out any house working job I ask them do in the home. The staff are always very friendly, polite and nothing is too much trouble. I really do not know what I would do without them. I am absolutely delighted with the quality of service, support in hand give to me. They always arrive on time send the same lady each week, or inform me in good time if they have to send someone else. They carry out their tasks with the utmost efficiency. I cannot praise them highly enough.

Support in hand provides myself and my husband with a monthly ironing service, in our own home, for 2 hours per session. We are very happy with the service we receive. As two busy professionals, we do not have much time for chores such as ironing and support in hand do a great job and I always feel I can trust the staff being in my home. Their work is of an excellent standard and I would strongly recommend them.

Support in hand have cleaned the mobile home of a very elderly gentleman we care for at least a year or more. Originally they also befriended Charles by playing cards and talking to him after the cleaning. They also gave him a prepared lunch and changed and laundered his bedding fortnight. They are a most wonderful company. Fully reliable, conscious, caring a real asset when looking after the elderly. There support has been invaluable to our caring. I was at a point when I could not have carried on caring without support. I am just so glad to responded to an advertisement. I saw locally by support in hand because their caring but very professional service has enabled me to continue the daily care of Charles who is 96 yrs. They are simply first rate. Honest, efficient and kind.

My lady takes me to get my pension and then takes me shopping, we all so go out for lunch, they also do house work for me. It makes me feel great and reassuring to know that someone is there to look after me. I hope they don’t, stop coming.
