I have worked with Neways over the past 3 years and it has been an absolute pleasure. They are officiant, professional, full of great ideas and incredibly client focused!

Its been a fantastic experience start to finish; the whole team have been amazing.

They built my new brick/garden wall, fitted my new kitchen and have replaced my front and back door.

One of their lads specialises in triple glazing and does really good doors rather than the cheap upvc ones.

Quote for front and back door was still cheaper than any of the double glazing places - inc labour. And last quotes I had from the others were from 5 years ago!

They also have their own flooring range at better prices than some of the showrooms.

These guys are super good and professional.

They're family builders and Simon's step-son works with him and was awarded the national award for apprentice of the year in 2023. Simon was really proud of him.

They did all the extras.

When they built the wall they fitted a quick holding fence for the dogs so I could still let them out back without them running off down the road. The 'brickie' filled all the cracks in the shed wall cos he had some leftover cement. Simon fixed the shed gutter back to the shed when he took down the fencing at the end of the job (since he had his drill out). And the brickie also refitted my front gate making it stronger and more robust than it was when it was first put up.

They are lovely, thorough, and just really nice guys. One of the top stones on the wall was dislodged when my neighbour put her shed back. They popped over and made it safe 2 days later.

They were recommended to me, and I've already recommended them to another person, would absolutely use again. Its been a fantastic experience start to finish; the whole team have been amazing.

We had an existing kitchen, dining room and bathroom redone with a new layout. This included knocking through the kitchen to dining room and installing a new kitchen, as well as knocking down a bathroom and relocating it with new stud walls and plumbing.

Simon and his team are trustworthy and their work is of a really high standard. More than once I noticed an issue. e.g. boxing wasn’t square - but when I brought it up with Simon he had already noticed and had it sorted. We’re impressed with the quality of the work done.

Having Louise run the admin side of things means emails are responded to in a very timely manner and everything is well organised. There were some technical issues with the invoicing service and Louise kept us well informed while this was being sorted out.

During the planning stages Simon was good about suggesting good value options and we didn’t feel pushed into any one way of doing things. Simon speaks plainly and this limits miscommunications. The initial visit happened quickly and we received the quote within a few days of that. He was happy to quote for the full project and then discuss with us what we would go for and what we would cut to fit our budget and needs best.

Simon and team turn up when they say they will and the work was completed within the estimated timescales - very impressive. They keep their workspace tidy and made every effort to protect the rest of our house from damage and dust.

The only issue we had was around budget. Despite us chasing that things were on track, before making a final call on whether to go for the final phase of the project or not (entirely budget based decision), the costs had slipped by 10-15% and we didn’t get any warning until the final bill. Ultimately though we believe we paid a fair price and we would have been thrilled to have “only” been 10-15% over budget considering how these things normally go. We just wish we had we been kept in the loop so that it wasn’t a surprise.

We would definitely use Neways again and we’re confident they will have learnt from this experience and will chase contractor costs earlier in future projects. We’re absolutely thrilled with the work we’ve had done and would recommend them.

Neways Group Ltd installed a brick weave path around the side and rear of our property, from initial discussion, through planning, to final product they were engaging, knowledgeable and sympathetic to our requirements.

Simon was easy to work with, leaving the site in a great condition with minimal fuss, I’d be more than happy to have them back to complete more work, in fact we actually did, they came back to extend the path further than we initially considered due to how well it looked!

Simon replaced our cooker hood, retiled the surround, added an oak lintel and did an excellent job.

Neways carried out a complete renovation of our kitchen-diner-lounge and refitted our master en-suite bathroom as well as carrying out a number of other ad hoc jobs for us around the house. They are trustworthy, reliable, flexible, pleasant to work with, creative, and committed to collaborating with clients to solve problems and develop ideas. Simon is a highly skilled Master Tiler and has done some beautiful work for us. As my husband and I both have busy schedules, it was really helpful to work with a lead contractor who liaised with the electrician and plumber on our behalf. Simon's wife, Louise, is also very helpful and responsive to any questions about scheduling, invoices, ordering, etc.

We had a number of internal doors replaced and various jobs sorted inside and outside the house. We were very satisified with the standard of the work carried out at our home. Simon and Charlie are punctual, polite, tidy workers who explain what they are doing and check first on any extra costs that might be incurred so there are no surprises. A professional and reliable company. We are very happy to recommend Neways and would certainly use them again.

They are a very helpful and friendly Company and I would recommend them.

Currently the Neways team is installing a slab pathway to the side of our drive and house for wheelchair access.

We have previously used the company to install a complete new roof (2022), carry out internal decorating for our hallway & lounge which included wallpapering and painting (2021). Prior to that they installed engineered timber flooring throughout our lounge and hallway (2019), and we have also contracted them to source other trades to carry out plumbing and electrical repairs, gardening, and relay the carpet in our bedroom. We have always been very happy with the work carried out and have found the entire team very friendly and helpful. We have no reservations in recommending them to others and will happily contract them again.

Convert lounge into kitchen. Convert old kitchen into utility & shower room. From start to finish, Simon & The Neways Team were great. Simon brought some fantastic ideas to the renovation, and the work undertaken was of an exceptionally high standard.

Refit of small en suite to turn into wet room, including full tiling. Have completed a WC, bathroom, & ensuite/wet room for me so far. Communication always excellent and always happy with the job done.
