Given the hotter summers we now seem to be getting, I thought it would be a good idea to investigate having air conditioning installed in my newly purchased bungalow.

I contacted Steve and he was quick to come over to explain the options, offering a couple of costed solutions.

On installation day, Steve arrived at the agreed time and worked tidily and efficiently to install the units at the agreed positions in the bedroom and lounge; plus the associated unit outside.

So far I've not used the units that much (apart from testing them) though no doubt there'll be a heatwave just around the corner!

I chose Cool Runnings when I was considering air conditioning because I wanted some advice and help. The whole process from start to finish was excellent. Steve turned up when he said he would, talked me through the options and quoted promptly and professionally with great communication throughout. On installation day he arrived as arranged with Ryan and his electrician, they were all on time and worked tidily and efficiently. The outcome was all first class and I would highly recommend.

Had an A/C unit installed in bedroom - as I’m writing this it’s 30 degrees and soooo pleased we did this ! Steve was brilliant from start to finish working with us with options to keep within our budget. Kept us updated with order and installation was excellent - they worked so hard all day with no mess or issues, working with us to get right positioning of unit and ducting - end result was a super neat and unobtrusive job - what was an added bonus is the unit also heats the room so much cheaper to heat the one room in winter with this than central heating !

Steve did a fantastic air conditioning installation for us. We had two units installed on an outside wall and one unit on an inside wall, and the whole process was handled professionally from start to finish.

The home survey was carried out promptly, with no pressure at all, and Steve gave excellent advice on the sizing and placement of the indoor units. He also talked us through the different options available to suit our requirements, including WiFi functionality and minimal lighting features.

Steve was also very accommodating regarding the placement of the outside units, ensuring they were positioned exactly where we wanted them.

The end result was perfect. Steve and the electrician were tidy, polite, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work.

Having gone through the process, I would say a home survey is essential, and I would highly recommend “Cool Runnings” for their excellent service and workmanship.

Went above and beyond in researching and sourcing the most appropriate air conditioning unit for the size of the property, and available connectivity, whilst taking account of my own technical preferences.

We were looking for a couple of ac units for our home. Steve was very responsive and his quote was the best price we received. We arranged a home visit so he could check out any complications ahead of the install and he provided a lot of welcome advice and a variety of options. He presented us with 3 clearly laid out quotes and estimates which made it easy to choose.
On the installation days, he worked quickly and efficiently, completing the work faster than expected. He also took some extra time to put down a good foundation for the outside units to give them a level base which we really appreciated. We are very happy with the result and will definitely be going back to Cool Runnings if we need any further units

After reading all of the 5 star reviews, I wondered whether any aircon installation experience could be 'that' good. In short, it was, and some! The choice of units and advice given was excellent, the work carried out was immaculate too, and then there's Steve himself... To say he is such a great guy is an understatement. I suffer from sleep apnea and decided to buy an AC unit to keep my room the same temp during the night..Since installation a week ago I have seen a remarkable improvement. Ive bought a humidifier too but 20c on cool seems to be ideal. Think it makes the room about 17c. Having a half decent sleep makes such a difference to your mood and functionality. Very pleased. Also chuffed we paid a bit extra for the premium given the app addition and extra quiet mode.
Remote is unnecessarily complicated so I found using the app was easier. Also meant I could cool the room from downstairs before bed.

I just had Steve install a Mitsubishi SRK25ZS wf, what a great product. Steve was very helpful from our first meeting and helped work out what system was best for my individual needs. The unit has WiFi which is fantastic as it can now be operated from my mobile smartphone, and even better, I can control it with Alexa. The unit is very energy efficient and is so quick at cooling the bedroom. I was surprised by how quiet the wall unit is as well as the outside unit. When Steve fitted the unit, he did so in a very professional manner and always kept his workspace clean and tidy. Over all I am very pleased with the installation and the cost to provide and fit the unit. I would highly recommend Steve to undertake an air-con installation in your home or business
