Investigated low water pressure and rebuilt our hot water system so that the water pressure is now excellent. This included installing a new water softener. Also serviced the air-source heater which he had previously installed. Excellent skilled work by a very experienced and friendly operator. He knows his stuff.

They did a good job replacing the mains water pipes and have been really helpful with other plumbing issues we've had.

Kostas has been involved in servicing our water sourced heat pump. We had recurrent high pressure faults on the heating side , specifically of domestic hot water. Various experts had varying explanations and suggestions regarding this. Kostas came and diligently worked through all possibilities until he finally solved the problem. He was careful to explain what he was doing and why. Unfortunately the least likely and last changed component was the culprit (a poorly performing pump on the secondary circuit). However I can now feel confident that all potential problematic components have been replaced.
Kostas is very friendly, knowledgeable and highly reliable. I literally breathe a sigh of relief when he knocks on the door because I know he will solve any problem.

I've met some conscientious hard working people in my time, but they pale by comparison to Kostas. He's such a lovely fellow. So kind, timely, honest, and forthcoming. No job is too big or small. He always goes out of his way to do a full and complete job. Not cutting corners. Seeing everything through from the huge mess at the beginning, to the lovely fluid situation at the end.

This started because we kept having leaking pips. In the end we also lost our boiler that was inhaling every last penny in heating oil.

Kostas came in recommended from another contractor. So he was doing work with a team that was sorting out the plumbing in the kitchen, so I asked him......"can you just...."

He discovered all the reasons behind the issues we'd been having for a long time, and systematically removed all the bits that were contributing to our antiquated and rubbish system. Now we finally have heating that works IN EVERY ROOM, hot water that works in every tap, a clean and clear pipe network, and a boiler that is efficient and working properly.

Of course he also helped with some tiling/paving issues in the garden and helped erect a fence (he and Rory both did this), but thats the kind of fantastic man he is.

Rory too, the apprentice that works with him. He's not your typical one. His knowledge and work is definitely alongside Kostas. You don't feel like you're getting second best with him, you know you're getting the same standard and work ethic as him.

Truly I cannot recommend Art Renewables highly enough. They're perfect and well worth the issue that made you call them in the first place because they lighten your life too. Genuinely the nicest, most decent of people you could ever hope to encounter

Had Kostas come and fix a major problem a few years ago, was there the next day and had one of his guys do a great of fixing it. Most recently I had a smaller problem and again, there the next day and came to fix two days later. Will always use Kostas and his company until he gives me a reason not to. Friendly, punctual, clean and tidy, high standard of work.

Radiator's intermittently not working in some rooms in the house. Very little heating in the house and very chilly! Kosta's engineer James came and was able to get the heating going and explain the problem. V.happy with the service and will use the company again if the issue persists.

Ever since moving into our barn conversion 6 years ago, we have had issues with the plumbing and underfloor heating. Many had tried to find permanent solutions to the problems. None had fully succeeded. Just when we thought it was fixed, it would stop working again - usually at the coldest time of the year!

That was until Kostas and his team got involved. Having done a 'roots and branch' review of the system, he ordered a few parts that others hadn't identified needed replacing. This winter has been the first in 6 that we've had a toasty house with the heating working in all parts of the building.

Of the dozen or so plumbers I've used in the last 20 years, these, though not the cheapest, were undoubtedly the best - infact they were perfect. Kostas combines calmness with intelligence to solve baffling plumbing issues. His friendly politeness is a bonus. He worked a 15 hour day to leave us with a properly functioning system.
