I had a complete new Kitchen including walls doors flooring all the electrics and new radiator and pipe works.I then had a new utility room with all fitted cupboards they also moved the washing machine and tumble dryer into a large cupboard and did all of the pipe works and electrics as well as this I also had a cloakroom built with a basin unit and toilet these rooms also had flooring and lighting.I also had flooring and a light out in the hallway.I also had all of the rooms decorated. I really cannot speak highly enough about how the work was done and how kind and considerate the men were.I am an older lady who is very wary of people but they were absolutely brilliant.They went above and beyond my expectations I would definitely recommend people to use them.Hopefully I will be having more work done by them.

Completed 23/4/21 Matt and Nigel have done a fair bit of work for us. They are friendly, trustworthy, tidy and reliable. Would have no hesitation in asking them to undertake further work in our home.

Build up and customise 4 larder units to reduced depth, install these along with 2 standard larders and top box unit around fridge. Alter plumbing for fridge freezer. Finish off skirtings to new units fill and sand walls where required.

Labour 6.75 mon days/installation materials. AHS standard of work is excellent throughout the process they kept me informed at all times.
The quality of finish is extremely good, which is why I strongly recommend them.
I will continue to use AHS for all future kitchen installations.
The only issue I have is being able to book them as they are in high demand just keep them topped up with teas and coffees. A happy workforce is an efficient one.

Labour Monday and some materials. AHS are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much for them. They lend advice and provide support and always willing to put in extra hours as required the quality of AHS work is exceptional, the standard of finish is the main reason we continue to use them.
They treat the quality of their work as if it was their own home and they are not satisfied unless the finish is perfect.
Just keep them happy with plenty of coffee (black one sugar) for Nigel and tea (white no sugar) for Matt and they will work all day.
I cannot recommend AHS any more highly. They are excellent at what they do... Quality with a great work ethic.

Carefully remove 10mm glass shower screen and metal parts clean off heavy silicon deposits, install catflap and tunnel through 450mm cavity brick wall.

This was Matt and Nigels third visit to our home, having previously, fitted a new bathroom, and cloakroom and also fitted a set of ash stairs. We have always been happy with the high standard of workmanship, and how hard both Matt and Nigel work to achieve a excellent outcome for their customers. Would highly recommend these guys.

Nothing was too much trouble, their work was of a high standard and they looked for innovative solutions when needed.
They were very good and keeping me up to date and explaining what they were doing or going to do.

Velux windows.
Finish off internally after Velux window fitted. Install multiple layers of plasterboard to build-up levels, install skim bead and plaster ready to finish. Blend in with easifill ready to be sanded back.

Collection of material. Cut access hole in ceiling to removal leaking boss on 110mm joint. Remove move plaster board for access. Remove 40mm pipework and 110mm boss. Clean up, install new 110mm pipe work with solvent weld boss. Repipe 40 mm pipe work. Plaster board hole in ceiling, apply two coats of easifill ready for customer to decorate. 3 3/4 hours labour and materials. Matt did a great job very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely have them back again.

Attend site address, track down pipework in both space and unfreeze/unblock pipework, two visits required as first was emergency to make sure no split pipework and to ease frozen pipes, second visit drain down header and go through process. Four hours labor. Very prompt response to a vulnerable person with no water supply. Kindly came outside work hours. Sourced the problem and sorted it, quick response to do work and to correspondence on email. No hesitation in recommending.

Removal of water damage showering area. Replace plasterboard wall with rear panels and then __ panels, uplift water-damaged chipboard flooring, replace with new, ply over, and install finished flooring surface. Temp remove basin/wc and refit afterwards. Sort out long-term leak on second toilet. Labour 7 man-days/materials as required. The repair and renovation was undertaken efficiently and professionally. The real bonus was to find honest and reliable tradesmen. Who listen, are considerate, and take pride in their work.

Complete alterations to an existing shower room, removal of stud walls, and boxing. Rerouting pipes went to create clean lines throughout the room, under hard ceiling, and stick plaster bond on rough walls. finish wall for decoration. Install new sinks and various other jobs unlistd
13 1/2 Monday and all materials Matt and Nigel completed a very good job. They were attentive to detail and were able to complete the various stalls requested to completely renovate and create our new shower room. Definitely recommend.

14'4 MD labour/supply of shower room and clockroom materials completed 18/12/2020 This is the third project in our home which Matt and Nigel have worked on. Their work is of an excellent standard and they are reliable, helpful and friendly.

Install new built in fridge freezer in old hand made kitchen unit alleruy as request. 2 visits of the online live supplier couldn't install or ordered. 1st to confirm and check out possibility 2nd visit to carry out work 4.75 no labour. A tricky job efficiently and well done.

Remove existing staircase, install new supplied quarter team stair case in closer angle opening, after existing floor janks to fit and heavy chase walls. Install addincts ash him to finish off areas, make good wallas required

9 1/2 men day labour/maternal. Once again Matt and Nigel, worked hard and precisely to fit our staircase. It was not a straight forward job as we live in an older property where no walls are square.

But they rose to the challenge and were able to fit the staircase.

Flooring

Remove existing free standing appliances in kitchen/utility. Remove plinths and doors, pack up old viral flooring and scrape. Apply add prior to self level floor area (30m2).

Install supplied Karndean flooring. Re fit appliances, ease plinths and doors to new floor height.

Labour 6.25 man days/installation materials completed 6/11/2020 This work was completed to a very high standard.

Remove old man hole case, install new and point up. Apply 2 coats dump proof liquid membrane to wall, render when dry and match shipped rendering. Install small number of tiles to boxes splash back.

They ripped out our existing bathroom, and put right piping and poor diy from previous homeowners. They also transformed a cupboard into a cloakroom,and again tidied up previous poor piping .
They fitted two toilets , two sinks a bath and a shower and shower cubicle. Also did all the tiling and remedial work. Both Nigel and Matt worked incredibly hard to complete our work. We live in an older property and this threw up a few unexpected challenges , but this did not phase them. They always left the site clean and tidy so we were able to function normally around the works.
We were very very pleased with the high level detail and standard of the work ,and would definitely recommend them.
We hope to have them back later in the year to do further wok for us .

Our shower cubicle had been poorly constructed and letting water seep through for some time causing rot to the studwork behind the tiles in the shower. Matt attended and put together a quote of the work needed which I submitted to my insurers.

Unfortunately, as work commenced, it became clear that the damage was more extensive as the removal of the shower tray revealed rotting rafters and flooring. A further description and quote was submitted for the extra work.

In total the work carried out included taking out all sanitary ware, the shelf and the shower, the removal of the shower tray and all the tiles in the shower room (walls and floor), making good studwork, rafters, flooring and installing waterproof plasterboard around the shower. Refitting insulation in the internal wall to the loft space, recreating the shelving in the space beside the shower, fitting new shower tray, re-tiling walls, floor and inside the shower. Installing new door to shower cubicle. Replacing wc, handbasin, shelf and towel holder.

Right from the beginning Matt and Nigel were amazing.

Matt explained fully what had caused the leak into the cupboard below the shower and why it had happened (shoddy workmanship). He showed me the damage that was visible once the tiles had been removed and the further damage when the shower tray had been taken up. He produced the initial quote for my insurance claim making clear what was involved and then a further one when the full extend of the damage was revealed. There was no quibbling from my insurers who I supplied with photos to back up the claim.

They made a speedy start to the work but then Aargh! Covid 19 struck and we were forced to put things on hold. I know that if we hadn''t had a downstairs bathroom they would have done enough to ensure we could manage until they were able to return.

They came back as soon as we all felt it was safe to do so and everyone observed social distancing.

I had chosen new tiles to bring bright look to the room and was absolutely delighted with the quality of the work and the final appearance of the room.

Matt and Nigel were friendly and polite at all times, kept me in the loop on how things were progressing and were happy to put down the floor tiles as I wanted them and discuss which way the wall tiles would be put up.

Matt likes tea with no sugar and Nigel drinks coffee (no milk) with 1 sugar.

Completely refit cloakroom, chase all pipe work into walls. Install towel rail, and other two existing radiators in house and install new.

Tile in cloakroom up to 1.2m high, flooring to self levelled floor. Wall hung basin and wc.

Completed Once more Matt and Nigel did a quality job. THe cupboard built by Nigel is superb. He designed if from start to finish, suggested excellent ideas and finished it to a superb standard. Matt fitted another radiator for us, removing an old one, changing the pipes etc. All completed to a great standard.

Cut out existing bath seal, clean down tiles and install new silicone seal. Replace faulty tap valve. Matt and Nigel are always really helpful. They advised on how to get a replacement valve under a warranty that I wasn't aware of. Good communication - they always keep you informed, even out of hours.

Matt and Nigel turned an old and crumbling 1960s bathroom into a beautiful contemporary one. The work was finished to a high professional standard in the time promised. I am very pleased with it. They sorted out some unforeseen problems and went the extra mile, replacing ceiling insulation and painting walls and ceilings even painting walls and ceilings, even though this wasn't in the original agreement.

Insulate and fireboard garage ceiling under rooms.Carried out to give rooms more insulation and fire protection from garage below (should of been done when built). Fireboard to pipe boxing and 1 beam after boxed in, fill joints and sand. Matt and Nigel completed this job efficiently and professionally and left the garage in a tidier and cleaner state them I've ever seen it they also suggested minor improvements to the space as they went along, and this meant that the result exceeded my expectations.

Up lift and dispose of existing flooring in kitchen, Utility and WC. Prepare floors and self level areas. Install supplied Karndean flooring, refit appliances. Install new under unit lighting and ceiling lights.

Install ply on floorboards after uplifting carpets. Remove both panels. Install new karndean (supplied) on flooring area and bring up new ply both panels. Install new shower services in existing valve in wall, installed lighting as required. Freshen up essuite bathroom. Labour 4.75 days and materials. The work was completed efficiently in the time promised despite there being unforeseen difficulties with the old shower workings. Matt and Nigel were good at solving these problems and finished the work to a high standard.

Remove existing 1st floor window, install supplied window repair and finish interior walls, install roller blend. Supply and install window board and various small jobs in room All completed promptly, efficiently and professionally.

Custom build door way ever hot water tank area, and finish off with full height mural. Refit large glass doors and install new large doors in kitchen area. Patch up hole in plaster board wall and Easifell ready for decoration.
Labor 2 1/2 days and materials. We are so pleased we took the recommendation from a friend! their work was truly faultless with an attention to detail rarely see nowadays. They will top of our list for an next project.

Highly recommended, I used Matt and Nigel last year to re-fit upstairs bathroom and so this is repeat business. Bathroom
Remove and dispose of old bath suite and tiling. Install low level shower bay to replace bath. Tile 10m2 wall tiles, install WC and basin units and sanity ware, self level floor and install customer amtico. Install shower screen and shower.
Labor and materials. Completed 13/10/2017. As always Matt and Nigel were excellent in all areas of work. This is the 4th time we have used their services. We are going to use them for more work soon.

Main shower room.
Remove existing bathroom suite, remove stud wall, move over and rebuild. Install shower bay, mixer shower, 3 units with W top and basin. Over board floor and install Amtico. Install toilet, tile around room where required to design. Labour and all materials. Completed 28/09/2017. Professional approach taken towards refurbishment of main bathroom.

No mess. Work completed to a very high standard.

Ensuite shower room.
Carry out installation including new shower tray, screen, WC, basin and unit, mixer, over ply floor and Amitico. Tiling shower area and other areas. Installed as design. Labour and all materials. Completed 28/9/2017. En suite refurbishment completed successfully. Professional approach. No mess.
Debris cleared away. Some advice given about new installation.

Cloak room and kitchen sink. Remove and replace cloakroom suite including alteration of pipe work and fitting. Remove old kitchen sink / tap. Cut worktop and install new franke sink and tap. Supply all materials and labour. Completed 28/09/2017. This was a minor job. But as usual carried out to a high standard. Tidy site maintained. Old sanitary ware disposed off.

Kitchen installations
Carried out on a sub contractor basis with Magret. Design and price agreed between Magret and customer. AHS carried out profit survey to check measure and advise amendments. Carried out kitchen installation and completed 7/7/2017 Completely satisfied with all aspects of work undertaken to fit our new magnets kitchen.

Purpose made wardrobe with shading doors. Supply materials to make divided up wardrobe consisting of 1300 mm longing space 500 mm high storage above, 5 dividing shells all machined from end panels. Finished off with sliding doors in roof.
Labor (2 man days) and material completed 13/09/2017. We were delighted by the work done.

Magnet kitchen installation

Carried out under sub contractor agreement with Magnet and customer. Absolute Home Solutions carried out prefit survey to advise and alter design as required. Installed kitchen to new design. Nigel and Matt did a great job installation our magnet kitchen. Quality of work and attention to detail was excellent. Highly recommend them.

Install loft hatch with ladder, install 100*50 mm CLS treated timbers in loft space to raise above existing installation. Over board with 18 m clipboard to provide large area for storage. Install new extractor fan for bathroom and rent out via sofits. Connected to existing supplier.
Labour and material completed 7/9/2017. Matt and Nigel did a fantastic job boarding out our loft and adding a loft hatch with a ladder. they were very clean and tidy with their work.

Internal doors, skirting, arch house and floor tiles. Supply and install internal doors X 4 fit __ to standard door __ X 2 and 2 into external door frames . Add __ to reduce home rebate size. Install __ and skirting in kitchen. Tile small floor over labor and material completed. 8/9/17
Matt and Nigel were helpful tidy, worked hard and did a very good job. Asking me at times how as what I wanted, if i was not too sure gave me advice so i could consider the options .I have already asked them to come back and do some more work in my home. Treated Posts and double gates. Collection of customer supplied materials, install 4 large posts as divisive; hang double doors off of gate and install feather edge brunch mounted on cart miles as fitter panel either side of gates. Labour and some materials.
Matt and Nigel did an excellent job and we are very happy with our new gates.

Floor tiles
Installation of customer supplied floor tiles in three rooms around w/c, basin and doorways in hall. Preagreed price on initial visit. Labor for 3 Manday all materials supplied by customer
completed 31-8-2017 Nigel kept to the agreed timetable and worked hard all day. He gave informed useful suggestions for the work. The tiling was done very carefully and neatly and looked very good.

Bathroom refit - tiling, new sanitary ware / suite, shower and base floor. Update of a tired, 20 year old upstairs bathroom. Very pleased with my new bathroom and the excellent standard of work. Matt and Nigel were helpful, pleasant, trustworthy and reliable. They were really tidy in their work, I felt part of the decisions but they were able to advice on things that I really didn't have a clue about, which was most of it! You will have to be patient as these guys are busy, but it's with good reason. Great job.

Fencing.
Remove existing rotten posts and porch, collection of materials custom build fencing to match customers old fence style and to new non standard layout. Create new semi storage area and new front ___supply all new materials required and 3.75 man days. Excellent, as always. This firm is not the cheapest, but the work they do and the finished product, is certainly worth it. They have done several jobs for me over the years all to a very high standard, and at returning in October to make some ---- cupboards. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matt and Nigel to anyone considering having journey walk don't in\on the house.

Install various fencing around property, gates for security. Replace existing fence panels (x14) and cut in concrete gravel boards (14). Install picket fencing with gate. Install 2 X 900 X 1800 gates with posts and side panels.
Labor 6-7 days and materials. Professional service, delivered to specifications. Friendly team, would highly recommend to friends. We look forward to them returning in September for another project.

Fencing
Collection of materials gravel boards (concrete and timber sphere) installation of 11 concrete posts, gravel bands and fence parts.
Labour and gravel boards. As always Matt and Nigel have done an excellent job for a very good price. All of the work that they have done for us has been of excellent quality, done on time, on budget and in a tidy manner. I would recommend them most highly to any prospective clients.

Supply silicone to match floor color and gripfill for window board completed 19/06/2017. Excellent workmanship.

Flooring / wall tiles

Install 1m2 wall tiles above hob, grout to finish. Remove plinths, uplift 25m2 vinyl floor tiles, fill and sand ply flooring.

Install 25m2 supplied floor tiles with grout slipping. Day rate labour and installation materials. Customer supplied all tiles. Excellent work, I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Bathroom
Remove clean and set a sink WC and basin. Carefully remove wall tiles, clean down walls and retile around existing bath. Remove old electric shower and plumbing. Install WC and basin with new hops connections. Install bath Panel, Curtain Rail shower riser rail. Supply new material and labour. This was the third job AHS has undertaken for me. As usual everything was done with professional expertise fine craftsmanship and great care.
It was a pleasure to have Matt and Nigel working in the house again and I am very grateful for their 100% reliability, hard work and helpfulness.

They worked extremely hard, made some brilliant suggestions to improve our designs and helped us when had problems with some of the materials we supplied. They were a pleasure to have in the house were polite and considerate and left everywhere clean and tidy at the end of each day. Short notice work carried out, with the understanding of our other customers to be delayed. Everyone left happily completed 3-6-2016. Fantastic team, hard-working, excellent job standard of workmanship off the scale. Very, very happy with everything.

Supply of materials while carring out kitchen installation (window boards) investigate wet patch on wall and possible causes, leading to insurance claim. Both Nigel and Matt were very professional and pleasure to have in our house carrying out our kitchen installation. They were always happy to offer advice when asked and I really valued their opinion. In terms of investigate the wet patch they were a massive help in advising us the cause of it.
