The renewable energy specialists Suffolk calls when nobody else can

Energie Solutions Ltd is a Trading Standards Approved Suffolk Trusted Trader, specialising in the service, repair and maintenance of renewable and low carbon heating systems for homeowners, businesses and public buildings across the East of England. We are a family run company, and we have built our reputation on doing one thing properly: looking after the systems that other people install and walk away from.

We started Energie Solutions in 2013 with a simple goal, to do things the right way. From day one we wanted to give customers honest advice, high quality workmanship and genuine specialist expertise in renewable technologies. We are MCS accredited, manufacturer approved and REFCOM approved, and we work across air source and ground source heat pumps, exhaust air heat pumps, MVHR systems, solar thermal, solar PV and air conditioning.

When we began, we were mainly installers. Since the pandemic, though, our business has changed in a way we never quite planned. We kept meeting homeowners, businesses and organisations who simply could not find a competent engineer to diagnose a fault or service their renewable system when something went wrong. So we built a specialist service and fault finding offering to fill that gap, and it has become one of the core parts of what we do.

The team people call when no one else will

These days we are known for helping customers when nobody else can, or will. We specialise in diagnosing complex faults and resolving problems that other companies have often been unable to fix. A lot of that work involves stepping in for people who were let down by a rushed, low cost installation that never met the manufacturer guidelines or building standards in the first place.

Our growth since then has been significant. We now run five vans, work alongside a number of trusted specialist subcontractors and have a full time office team of four supporting our customers. We cover the whole of East Anglia and Lincolnshire, parts of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and London, and we have recently started working across the South Coast. Our customers are wonderfully varied: homeowners, businesses, charities, community centres, housing associations, schools, shops, councils and public buildings.

Why genuine trust mattered to us

We did not join the Suffolk Trusted Trader scheme because we needed more leads. We joined because we believed in what it stands for. In today's world, online reviews can be very hard to trust. Platforms like Google, Trustpilot and Facebook can carry fake reviews, both positive and negative, and some businesses actively incentivise customers to leave glowing feedback.

What appealed to us about Trusted Trader was that the reviews are independently checked and verified. That gives people confidence that what they are reading is genuine, balanced and honest. It aligned with our own values, and supporting it was simply the right thing to do.

The vetting process itself was straightforward and professional, and the checks reassured us that the scheme genuinely protects consumers and pushes standards higher across the industry. We feel so strongly about this that we regularly post on social media about scams, misinformation and the importance of proper due diligence. We always encourage people to research any company before they hand over their money, and Trusted Trader gives them an independent, reliable way to do exactly that.

Backing the next generation

One achievement we are especially proud of is being the Industry Partner for Suffolk Green Skills at Suffolk New College. We help with training, support lecturers in developing their knowledge and provide work experience for young people who want to build a career in renewable energy. Raising standards is not only about the jobs we do today, it is about the engineers coming up behind us.

What drives us today is exactly what drove us back in 2013: helping people and doing things properly. We are passionate about renewable technology, passionate about raising standards in our industry, and passionate about supporting the next generation. Our aim is to keep growing our specialist service and fault finding expertise while holding on to the high standards and personal service our customers have come to expect.
