Pete Lowe has carried out many of our property projects over the last 15 years. He is honest and reliable in all aspects of his work. Pete works to an extremely high standard and explains his work both before during and afterwards. He actively ensures that you are aware of what’s happening and if any changes are needed to the original discussion. I can recommend Pete Lowe without hesitation.

From the very start I could tell that Pete would treat us well. His communications and care from outset where far beyond anyone else we spoke to for a quote. While Pete and David both do a truly fantastic job, what I think sets them apart more is that they are just good people. They both care about the client and doing a good job. The only frustration is that Pete isn't keen on giving exact quotes, which I found strange and difficult to work with initially. As in the end... I want to know roughly how much it will cost, and it made me worried that it will cost a lot! But, after working with him I realised that you just never know how the work will go as there are always surprises. Both good... but, with an old bungalow, mostly bad. He just doesn't want to mislead anyone, but it was clear that he was always professional, diligent and trying his best to complete the job to a very high standard, for as cheap as possible.

The project was a reasonably large bungalow renovation and extension that had at least some impact on almost every room. We lived through it with your two young kids and Pete was extremely considerate about us throughout. From tackling the project in an order that was more convenient for us to generally doing what he could to make it as easy for us. Overall, living through the renovation was far easier and smoother than I expected... not to mention, the kids loved saying hello to them each morning and seeing what they would do next.

Both Pete and David really work to a very high level and can be trusted to give a really good finish. Proving pragmatic solutions, even when the customer is a bit irrational and unreasonable... mostly... They also had a great team around them. Each of the other traders they brought in to do various other specialised tasks were (almost) equally great. Which really made us trust Pete even more, as you can tell he is careful to surround himself with trustworth and realiable people.

Overall, I would certainly recommend them and can't imagine using anyone else for that type of work. Just keep an eye on your chocolate supplies, as those might go missing.

Pete and David did an absolutely fantastic job with pretty much a complete overhaul of our house! Our plan was to knock through an existing bathroom to create an open plan kitchen/diner, change the dining room into a bathroom utility, build a small ground floor side extension and a loft conversion. A big task but one they completed seamlessly, even with unexpected challenges along the way (layers and layers of tiles found in the kitchen!). The attention to detail was exceptional and Pete was brilliant at communicating daily throughout the project. He and David were always extremely reliable and hard working. We are so pleased and will not hesitate to recommend Pete in the future.

Pete & his team have completed several jobs for us & our wider family, ranging from a bathroom refit, a bungalow refurbishment with extension to just recently our own kitchen knock-through / part garage conversion & bespoke rebuild - all to the highest standard & to the negotiated costs/timeframe.

Oct 2024 - We had rising damp in our front sitting room so following treatment for this (by a specialist) Pete stripped out all the flooring, replaced all the old floor joists, new skirting boards and installed a lovely wooden floor.
Pete's work is excellent, the project was completed with great care and attention to detail. He and his team are totally reliable, a pleasure to have around during the project and work to a very high standard. We highly recommend and will definitely be using Pete in the future!

Pete and his team removed a wall between a kitchen and dining room and then installed a new kitchen.
Pete and his team were excellent and made the whole process as stress-free as possible. I was provided with a clear detailed estimate for the work and Pete kept me updated with any changes made. His team arrived promptly and carried out the work efficiently and to a very high standard. There was also no need to arrange any other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers as this was all sorted out by Pete. We had a wall removed to convert a kitchen and snug into a kitchen dinner. The work also involved relocating the kitchen. Pete was most helpful throughout the project from design to completion. Despite a number of challenges thrown up by our old cottage Pete and his team found economic and innovative solutions.
During the project Pete’s team and associated contractors provided a high quality of craftsmanship and were thoughtful of our needs at all times.

Installing wooden flooring after levelling, removal of internal door (old front door, fitting of internal doors and other carpentry work, refit of downstairs bathroom. Where to start with the work! We knew that the living room, dining room downstairs bathroom, hallway and front and back gardens needed attending to after little upkeep for over 11 years. We invited Pete to quote us for putting wooden flooring down in the living room and hallway and fitting internal doors. We were a little nervous as we have little experience or knowledge of DIY projects but Pete invited us round to view a project he was working on nearby so that we could see first-hand the quality of his work. He also provided us with a network of other people, plumbers, an electrician, plasterer etc and we were able to draw on his knowledge of local businesses to source materials, although he mostly sourced them of an evening and ordered the things we needed. Without going into detail, finding out that our oil tank needed replacing changed our plans and order of what should be done and when. We also decided when Pete was on site that removing an internal doorway would open up the hallway. Pete and his team were fantastic. Although they had other jobs starting, Pete listened to what we were thinking and then made it happen. The quality of the materials and workmanship was first class. We now have wooden flooring laid throughout the living room, hallway, and dining room transforming those three rooms. The downstairs cloakroom was completely refitted, new toilet, wash basin, cabinet and extractor fan installed. We hired Peter for his carpentry skills but found that he, along with David and his apprentices, can turn their hands to most things. And if they can''t, Pete knows a trades person who can. We did most of the decorating to keep the costs as low as possible, but David would have done that if we had needed him to. We also tackled a lot of the labouring work, again, to reduce the costs and Pete supported us with that by lending us his pneumatic drill amongst other things to get the work done. He also coached us on the right way to varnish internal doors that he had fitted as we have never done this before. It''s not just the quality of the work that we can recommend, it''s the peace of mind of knowing that Pete wants to ensure that the work he and his team does is of the highest quality. A couple of the internal doors were difficult to hang and were not quite closing correctly. When we told Pete, he sent David round quickly so that they could be put right. We have had no problems with anything fitted so far (4 months after the work was finished) but if we did, Pete would be round quickly to fix it, we are sure of that. It''s that piece of mind that reassures my wife and I, because as mentioned above, we are not the best at DIY. Phase 2 of our project will hopefully commence this year once we have built up some more funds. Pete has already erected some concrete posts and put in some wood panels for us and has completed the groundworks for the new oil tank that we needed. We will want some garden decking and railway sleepers laid and we will look no further than Pete and his team.

Replace kitchen worktops including island with solid oak worktops, tile and grout around kitchen in place of splash back, replace oven and hob including extractor hood and sink From the first meeting with Pete we were filled with confidence he had the knowledge and expertise to help renovate our dated kitchen and carry out the work in a skilled way to ensure it had a top notch finish. Pete advised on choice of materials and the options available to us, where we could see samples and importantly where we could see examples of his craftsman ship on other jobs.

Pete takes extra care making sure everything is in place before, during and after the work was carried out. Pete provided a full breakdown on his quote with each option clearly explained.

Pete was keen to help (without any prompt) us receive discounts on materials - even using his accounts where necessary.

During the work Pete and his team always treated our home with care and in a very friendly manner (I was working from home and they worked round that too).

We are thrilled with the finish, the worktops are joined seamlessly and look brilliant.

|The work involved fitting a new kitchen which we had purchased separately and laying a new laminate floor. We had a number of meetings with Pete Lowe to agree the work required. Peter gave us a very detailed estimate itemising all the various aspects of the job. He was very helpful in offering advice. It would be difficult to imagine anyone being more helpful or accommodating. The whole team were pleasant and polite and we are very pleased with the work that was carried out.

Installation of new kitchen, including flooring, decorating and tiling of walls. We chose Peter Lowe Property Maintenance having seen good reviews and been invited to inspect their work on another property. Peter discussed the options available to us, recommending companies to visit to choose the kitchen units, tiles, flooring and worktops. A detailed estimate was provided for the work we required.

Work started on the agreed date and the old kitchen was removed quickly and efficiently. We were impressed by the efforts made to minimise mess: sealing of door between kitchen and hall; plastic covers over the hall carpets; gazebo erected in the back garden so they could build the units and cut flooring etc. to shape without interruption by the weather. All work was done to a high standard - Peter is a perfectionist and ensured everything was "just so".

Where other trades were needed - plasterer, electrician, tiler - Peter coordinated their visits efficiently so work continued without a break.

We were very pleased with Peter''s team (Dave, Dylan and Sam) who were friendly, professional and polite throughout. I would certainly recommend Peter Lowe Property Maintenance and will certainly use them again.

Support and guidance throughout the project was first class and went the extra mile.
Initial consultation and site visits helped with the design and detail of the project prior to its commencement and whilst we were not on site, regular updates on progress were most welcomed.
Very friendly team of professionals undertook the work and my regular visits to the site were welcomed to chat about issues which arose through the duration of the project.
Any snagging was attended to promptly and satisfactorily. Overall we rated the workmanship and friendliness of the team as 11 out of 10 and would not hesitate to use this company again and recommend them unreservedly. Peter and his team are always welcome to drop in for a coffee anytime.

Refitted toilet and cistern, hand basin and pipes. Made good the walls and fitted extra cupboards. Reseated the shower and hand basin, renewed inside toilet tank. First rate professional work from whole team, we would highly recommend them to other people.

From the initial planning stages, we received great support in finalising the designs for the space and solving problems that came along with renovating an old cottage - a theme that ran throughout the project! We trusted Pete''s expertise from the off and were rewarded with a fantastic finished result. We were impressed with the impeccable workmanship and skill shown by the team, who were equally lovely to have around.

I was heavily pregnant during the project, which put the pressure on, but Pete and the team pulled out all the stops to ensure that we had a fully working kitchen by the time baby arrived. No request was ever too much, everyone was incredibly helpful and conscientious. We moved out during a portion of the project and Pete was always on the end of the phone and sending us updates. Communication was second-to-none and we never had any concerns.

Having Pete on hand to manage the timetable of the project took the stress away from us and he showed a personal investment in ensuring that we ended up with a space that we loved. I have already recommended him to our friends and I would not hesitate to use his services again.

Installed a vanity unit, including plumbing and other works as requested. This was a reasonably small job of fitting a vanity unit including plumbing but was dealt with in a very professional manner. They arrived on time and completed the job as required. I have no hesitation in recommending Peter Lowe Property Services and will use them again for any future projects.

Renovation of kitchen - replacing worktops, sink and taps. Peter and his team undertook a kitchen renovation for my elderly Dad. Communication throughout was excellent - Peter went out of their way to ensure that my Dad was given all the information he needed before and during the time the work was being undertaken. The team were polite, kind and considerate of my Dad’s needs - ensuring there was minimal disruption to his daily life. The work was completed to a high standard. My Dad is very happy with his newly renovated kitchen and would absolutely recommend Peter and his team to others. 5 star service.

Installation of hand rail outside front door to assist disabled persons entering and leaving. Thoroughly satisfied with final result of work done both in terms of quality of materials used and final result on completion.

Peter and his team have been to our newly-built property on several occasions, installing a new breakfast bar in our kitchen, assembling wardrobes, putting up curtain poles etc. The quality of work was exceptional and reasonably priced. We need to give a special mention to young Dylan, who has been a star throughout.

Remove dining room/kitchen wall, remove old kitchen and fit new kitchen including plastering, new window, electrics. The work was completed efficiently and any queries dealt with and changes explained. We were involved at all stages and had no concerns as it was project managed for us by Pete Lowe so felt relaxed throughout which was a necessity for us. Peter informed the neighbours when they were on site and left the site neat and tidy throughout.
