We pride ourselves on providing 5* tree removal services in Norwich and surrounding areas, whether you’ve experienced an emergency which requires attention immediately or looking to clear trees from your grounds our team has the knowledge, equipment and experience to help you and your project move forward.
We supply a comprehensive R.A.M.S on every job, as well as arranging a clear and structured quotation to ensure we’re always on the same page. When dealing with Tree Preservation Orders (TPOS) we will liaise with your planning officer to allow your project to run smoothly and to schedule. As professional tree consultants we care about the environment, not only do we assist you when trees are required to be removed from your land, but also services such as formative pruning to felling, stump grinding to hedgerow planting, our team have the knowledge, equipment and experience to help you and your project move forward.

Four trees taken down.
Delighted with the service provided by Dr Stump from Matt’s site visit to Patrick, Luke and Tom cutting down the trees. They did exactly what was asked of them and they left the site clean and tidy. They were polite and friendly . Ash, in the office, kept us updated on what was happening either by phone or emails. Everyone was very professional. We have no hesitation in recommending them and would certainly use them in the future.

Stumps satisfactorily removed at a very fair price. Best recommendation is using a trader again - we have asked Dr Stump return and carry out more stump removal for us. Thank you Matt and Luke ;-}

Matt came round to our property because we had concerns about bamboo shoots coming through from a neighbour it had been done by another company but we still had concerns...he spoke to us and are neighbour and said the other company had missed some roots so he cleared them and gave us advise on what to look out for in the future...thanks matt for your help and prompt response

Dr Stump Ltd removed a couple of trees for us.
They did an excellent job, removing the trees without fuss and tidying up after themselves.
Overall they offered a great service, and I'd definitely recommend them and use them again.

Removal of very large fir tree. Adverse weather conditions were such that I was surprised the men came. However, they worked tirelessley throughout the day to remove the tree, shred the branches and took it away. They returned the next day as promised to finish clearing up and cut back a holly hedge. The men were very thorough and checked with us throughout to ensure we were happy with what they were doing. They also ensured the neighbours were happy. Excellent, would high recommend.

Removal of 4 large, 3 medium and 3 small conifers including stump grinding of the largest. Efficient, friendly service, minimal mess left behind after the stump grinding and all done in a day. Highly recommended.

Some very challenging work on very mature trees to keep them as safe as is humanly possible whilst doing everything in their power to maintain the health of the trees for the future. The whole team are extremely hard working, adhere to the highest safety standards, clear up after themselves and are friendly, knowledgeable and have an incredible head for heights. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Dr Stump Ltd was engaged to remove a large bamboo infestation . A site inspection was promptly carried out , a quotation given and the job scheduled according to my requirements . The very professional team arrived fully equipped for the task and completed within the given time frame , without additional cost , with minimal disruption . I would have no hesitation in using them again .

Several very large multi stem trees were removed, all stumps ground out and all spoil removed from site.
Matt was a please to work with. He wasn’t pushy or overbearing. All of his workers were friendly and polite. They did a fantastic job and I would thoroughly recommend this company.

We cannot thank Matt and his team for the fantastic job they did for us in removing trees, stumps and cutting back a lot of our larger well established trees and hedges they left the garden clean and tidy when they finished. If you are looking for a tree surgeon we cannot recommend Dr Stump more highly you will not regret using them. 5 Stars all the way!

We've been very happy with the remedial trees works completed by Dr Stump. The guys are very knowledgeable and conscientious about their work, they work hard and clean up well. We've had a number of trees re-shaped over the year, including a mature oak tree, and the trees look great. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We had a 2 large trees felled, and a large amount of brush cleared. All the works were done to a very a high standard and promptly. Communication was very good at every stage of the process.

I have used Dr Stump a number of times now for varying jobs to remove dead trees and stumps most recently felling of 10 tall pine trees, which had grown too close to our house.
Great job done very professional and they have done exactly what I asked for. None of my request were too much trouble and the team were polite and respectful. Cannot rate Matt and his team highly enough.

We arranged for Dr Stump to remove a row of overgrown leylandii at the side of our property in West Runton, grind out the stumps once completed & replace with yew bushes to form a yew hedge.
The work was completed on time, on budget & as scheduled - & all interactions with Matthew or any of his team were always both friendly & professional.
We were very happy with the job done & would have no hesitation recommending Dr Stump for any such tree work in the future.

I first used Dr. Stump in January 2022 when a storm took an acacia to perils lean. Matt and team came out that night in atrocious weather to assess and make holding measures to ensure no further damage. They came back a few hours later in daylight with team and kit to safely take down the tree.
When in January 2023, we needed more work doing on a variety of trees (we had followed Matt's recommendation in getting a tree survey carried out) Dr. Stump prompyly came out for a site vissit and provided a fair quote and did a wonderful job again. Good comms, good customer care/service and fair pricing for high quality work. Highly recommended

Reduce height of conifer hedge. Remove trees x 3 stump grinding and clearance. Brilliant service from Matt and his team. Task was bigger for them than first realised, but they did not complain or delay. They worked hard all day to meet their time estimate and we were delighted.
