The flat felt covering on my garage roof needed to be replaced. The work was done efficiently and the material from the old felt covering, which had to be stripped off, was taken away. Only a few bits of grit were left for me to clear up later. The workmen were polite and competent. I am pleased with the job that was done and am happy to recommend this company. I will be asking them to quote for the next job on my house improvement list.

Paul and the boys put up a stud wall to split a large spare room into a smaller spare room and office.
They did the work to a high standard, and completed it in really good time.

They also removed, stored and reinstated part of our kitchen and replaced some tiles so that a leak under our kitchen floor could be fixed as part of an insurance claim. Paul was great at providing quick quotes for the insurance company so that we could get on with the work, and managed to get the kitchen back in quickly so that we weren't without a kitchen sink for too long.

Work undertaken: Exterior brick repairs; removal of downstairs WC and plaster, replastering, fitting new downstairs toilet suite, new door and skirting

We had a flat roof leaking on a rental property, Paul reacted immediately to having a look and getting an estimate raised for the work. Once the work commenced the guys quickly realised that the roof was in much worse condition than anyone could have foreseen (rotten timbers below the fibreglass). Paul was completely transparent with his findings and once the new estimate was agreed his team started work the next working day and completed the job under budget and quicker than estimated. My tenants were delighted at the cleanliness of work and respect of noise. Highly recommended.

Built a dwarf wall according to my specifications and assembled windows, doors and roof of my garden room / green house accurately. Brian Mindham was very helpful about advising about the job on hand, gave me a quotation for the work involved and was in touch about the start date. He was prepared to do extra when I realised the job needed it, quoting me at each stage. He explained the various steps as it progressed materials were all handled with care and the site left tidy. I was very pleased with the outcome.

To replace all window units that make up conservatory in UPVC white double glazed units. To trim all units as required to make good. To clear all waste to ship and leave area tidy. Highly professional and we will certainly use them again. Well pleased.

Demolition of attached garage, preparation of site and build of two bedrooms, two en-suites, a family bathroom, utility room, lobby and garage. Remodeling and extending existing kitchen area and upstair bedroom access. Installing under floor heating and an underground rainwater store. Brian, Paul and their team “lived” with us throughout the six months build. They arrived promptly every morning, rarely missing a day, worked through a cold and windy winter, leaving the site tidy and were still smiling at the end of the day. they discussed and agreed their plan of work with us and avoided breaking through into the house for as long as possible. As they say “there’s always a way to get round a problem”. We have no hesitation in recommending Mindham & Son as builders.

Removal of two chimneys. Replacement of soffits, facias and guttering. Work carried out promptly and efficiently. Kept fully informed as work progressed. Friendly and helpful workmen always punctual. kept site clean and considerate to neighbours. Completely satisfied.

To strip valleys and surrounding roof coverings. To connect height of valley lay boards. Replace or remove if required and carry out any repairs required to felt and batters. To lay new GRP valley trays. To re-cut tiles to valley replacing any they are damaged or no longer fit for us. To bed up valley in cement mortar. To clean all waste from site and leave it. The company took photos of the problem and explained it all thoroughly to me. They were very polite and courteous and arrived when they said they would. I would not hesitate to use them again.

A most excellent, skillful & trustworthy contractor who competently converted the architects drawings into a superb addition to our bungalow. Part re-felt of roof re mortar verges, rake out and re-point, brickwork to end of building. Replace broken tiles, replace battens. Generally excellent work. Some delay at start of rake-out due to equipment malfunction.

Strip and re-felted main roof. Replaced soffit, fascia and guttering with plastic. The firm was very professional started and finished within time stated. Excellent, I am very pleased. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
